A sheet conveyance apparatus is arranged on an upper face portion of an image forming apparatus and conveys a sheet to a sheet processing apparatus. The sheet conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance path including a first path through which the sheet is conveyed toward the sheet processing apparatus and a second path branched from the first path, a switching guide to switch a conveyance route of the sheet between the first and second paths, an air blowing unit to send air toward the conveyance path, and an air intake port provided on an end portion on a front side of the sheet conveyance apparatus. A duct connects the air intake port and the air blowing unit, and an air blowing port blows the air from the air blowing unit to the conveyance path in a sheet conveyance direction.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a controller controlling a driver to cause a guide to start rotation in a state in which a trailing end in a sheet conveyance direction of a preceding sheet conveyed by a roller pair having a first roller and a second roller such that the trailing end of the preceding sheet is moved from the position above a first guide to a position between a second guide and a sheet support by the rotation of the guide and that a succeeding sheet conveyed by the roller pair subsequently to the preceding sheet passes the position above the first guide after the rotation of the guide. An image forming apparatus includes a fixing device having a nip, in which an image is fixed on a recording material, and an air blowing unit configured to feed air. A first blow portion is provided, through which the air fed by the air blowing unit flows toward a first area, which is an end portion of the fixing device, in a longitudinal direction of the fixing device, so as to cool the first area by the air via an opening of the first blow portion. A blocking member changes a width of the opening of the first blow portion, and a second blow portion is provided, branched from the first blow portion so as to cross the first blow portion, through which the air blocked by the blocking member flows toward a second area, which is a region in which the recording material passes through the nip.

A noise monitor for transmitting an actual sound (noise) when the noise level becomes higher than a regulation standard. In each noise detecting unit, the level of noise is measured through a microphone and a noise meter and input into a radio set. At the same time, an actual sound as noise is input through a microphone and a microphone amplifier into a PHS. In a noise monitoring unit, a PC communicates with the radio set in each noise detecting unit through a radio set to input the noise level measured by each noise detecting unit. The PC determines whether or not the noise level is higher than a regulation standard. If the noise level is higher than the regulation standard, the PC requests a PHS to call the PHS in the specified noise detecting unit to establish the communication between the PHS and the PHS. At this time, a maintenance worker can hear the actual sound from the PHS. Further, the actual sound is recorded by an MD recorder.
