A sheet post-processing apparatus includes a first regulating device regulating a position of a sheet bundle, by contacting to an end part of the sheet bundle conveyed in a conveying direction by a conveying device and stacked on a stacking device in a direction intersecting with the conveying direction; a second regulating device regulating a position of the sheet bundle in the conveying direction, by contacting to an end part of the sheet bundle stacked on the stacking device in the conveying direction; a first binding device configured to move from one side to another side of the sheet post-processing apparatus and from the other side to the one side by moving in the intersecting direction, and configured to bind a corner part of the sheet bundle using a staple, and a second binding device configured to bind a corner part of the sheet bundle without a staple.

Sheet post-processing apparatus and image forming system having the same

A sheet cutting device includes a stage including a placement surface on which a to-be-cut sheet is placed; a strip-shaped fixed blade that is provided in one end portion of the stage; a movable blade that works together with the fixed blade to cut the sheet placed on the placement surface of the stage gradually from one end portion of the sheet to a different one end portion; and a support section that is located between the one end of the fixed blade and the other end in such a way as to be closer to a vertically downward side than the fixed blade and be closer to a vertically upward side than a bottom surface of a waste box placed closer to the vertically downward side than the fixed blade, to temporarily support part of a remnant generated after cutting by the fixed and movable blades.

Sheet cutting device

Sheets after having been sequentially folding-processed are stowed neatly without becoming dog-eared, wrinkled, etc. in the course of being transported to a stacker. A folding process unit folds sequentially fed copy paper or other sheets, and a sheet stacking unit loads/stows sheets from the folding unit. A conveyance device conveying one folding-processed sheet at a time is furnished between the folding unit and the sheet stacking unit. The conveyance device includes a first, upstream conveyance unit conveying sheets from the folding process unit in a direction approximately orthogonal to the sheets' crease(s), and a second, downstream conveyance unit conveying sheets in the orientation of the crease(s). The second conveyance unit is configured with a tray member where sheets are supported one at a time, and is configured so as to sequentially deliver each sheet to the sheet stacking unit along the tray member in the orientation of the crease(s).

Sheet-folding apparatus and image-forming system equipped with the same

A sheet feed device of this invention includes a sheet feed tray, a sheet feed unit which feeds a sheet placed on the sheet feed tray, a detection sensor which detects the presence/absence of a sheet on the sheet feed tray, and a sensor mounting member which mounts the detection sensor on the sheet feed tray. The sensor mounting member can mount the detection sensor on the sheet feed tray such that the angle of the sensor can be adjusted with respect to the tray.

An image reading apparatus includes a platen which is set at an image reading position, a loading guide portion which is arranged upstream in a convey direction of an original to be adjacent to the platen and guides the original to an upper surface of the platen, a scoop-up guide portion which is arranged downstream in the convey direction of the original to be adjacent to the glass platen and guides a leading edge of the original, which has passed through the platen, by scooping up, a convey guide portion which is arranged to oppose the platen and scoop-up guide portion, to form a convey path between the convey guide portion and both of the platen and the scoop-up guide portion, a support portion which supports the convey guide portion to be slidable parallel to the platen, and a regulating portion which is arranged between the convey guide portion and the scoop-up guide portion to hold a constant gap between the convey guide portion and the scoop-up guide portion.
