A rectangular secondary battery includes a rectangular casing that contains an electrode body, a sealing plate that seals an opening of the rectangular casing, a first positive electrode tab group that is composed of a plurality of positive electrode tabs, a positive electrode terminal that is attached to the sealing plate, a second positive electrode current collector that constitutes a positive electrode current collector member that is electrically connected to the first positive electrode tab group and the positive electrode terminal, and a second insulator. Provided is an electricity storage device having a high volumetric energy density and high reliability. The electricity storage device includes: an electrode assembly including first and second electrode plates and a separator interposed therebetween; an exterior housing that houses the electrode assembly; a lid that covers an opening of the exterior housing; and electrode terminals that are electrically connected to the electrode assembly and partially protrude from the lid to the outside. The lid has a liquid injection hole for injecting an electrolytic solution into the exterior housing. A tubular member extending from the lid toward the electrode assembly is provided between the outer surface of the lid and the electrode assembly so as to surround an opening of the liquid injection hole. A covering member connected to the tubular member and interposed between the liquid injection hole and the electrode assembly is provided.

A conductive member is disposed on a side of the sealing plate adjacent to an electrode assembly with a first insulating member disposed therebetween. The conductive member has a conductive-member opening portion. The conductive-member opening portion of the conductive member is sealed by a deformation plate. The deformation plate is connected to a first positive-electrode current collector, which is electrically connected to positive electrode plates. A second insulating member is disposed between the deformation plate and the first positive-electrode current collector. Fixing projections and displacement prevention projections are provided on a surface of the second insulating member. The second insulating member is fixed to the first positive-electrode current collector such that the fixing projections are disposed in fixing holes in the first positive-electrode current collector. A secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly including a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate; an exterior housing that has an opening and houses the electrode assembly; and a sealing plate () that seals the opening. The exterior housing and the sealing plate () form a battery case. A deformable member () that deforms when the pressure inside the battery case reaches a prescribed value or higher and a gas release valve () that breaks when the pressure inside the battery case reaches a prescribed value or higher to release gas inside the battery case to the outside of the battery case are provided in the sealing plate (). A metallic reinforcing member () is connected to the inner surface of the sealing plate ().

The present invention discloses a method for measuring an amount of an objective component to be measured in a sample, which comprises; preventing an electric charge in an atmosphere in a photometry chamber from transferring to the surface of a solution which generates light due to an energy variation of a substance induced by the objective component in the sample, measuring value of the light, and determining an amount of the objective component in the sample on the basis of the measured value thus obtained, and an instrument used for the method. According to the present invention, in measurement of an objective component in a sample using a spectrophotometer, problems such as between-day variation of signal values or increase of background value, etc. can be solved, and a trace component can be measured in high accuracy and high sensitivity.
