In an electric device (), an air inlet (),a gas-liquid contact portion (), a water collecting portion () and an air outlet () are arranged in sequential order from upstream of an air duct (). In a water storage portion () the gas-liquid contact portion () is dipped and the water collected thereby is stored. An electrolyzing portion () generates the electrolyzed water () containing an active oxygen species by electrolyzing the water stored in the water storage portion (). As a result, a compact electric device with an air cleaning function is provided at low cost that is capable of generating water containing an active oxygen species without requiring additional water feed and without generating a by-product.

Electric device with air cleaning function

A water softening module has a case body which includes cover members secured to their respective ends of a cylindrical case. A pair of electrodes are provided in the case body. A fibrous medium is located in contact with a water-outlet-side face of the electrodes. The fibrous medium has a stacked structure constituted of a first fiber layer and a second fiber layer, which are electrically conductive. The first fiber layer is positioned in contact with the upstream side of the second fiber layer, and the first fiber layer is positioned in contact with the downstream-side face of the electrodes. The specific surface area of the first layer is smaller than that of the second fiber layer.

Water treatment apparatus

There is disclosed a water treatment device capable of improving the treatment efficiency of for-treatment water and passing the for-treatment water once to sufficiently treat the water without repeatedly circulating the water, and the water treatment device includes a water passing first electrode arranged in the channel of the for-treatment water, a conductive fiber positioned on the downstream side of this first electrode and energized by the first electrode, a water passing second electrode positioned on the downstream side of this conductive fiber and forming a pair with the first electrode, an insulating porous spacer interposed between this second electrode and the conductive fiber, and a supply section which supplies voltages to both of the electrodes.

Water treatment device

An air filtering apparatus including a housing having an air suction port and air blow-out port, an electrolytic bath for generating electrolytic water, a gas-liquid contact member disposed in the housing, an electrolytic water supply unit for supplying the electrolytic water to the gas-liquid contact member so that the electrolytic water infiltrates into the gas-liquid contact member, an air blowing fan for bringing indoor air sucked from the air suction port into contact with the electrolytic water infiltrating in the gas-liquid contact member and blowing out the indoor air from the air blow-out port, a water receiving portion for receiving the electrolytic water passed through the gas-liquid contact member, and a foreign material removing mechanism for removing foreign materials contained in the electrolytic water. The foreign material may be a filter member disposed in front of the gas-liquid contact member, or a dam member disposed in the water receiving portion.

Air filtering apparatus having foreign material removing mechanism

Provided are a treatment apparatus for removing fluorine content from water to be treated and a method of treating water to be treated using the same. Water to be treated, containing fluorine, is introduced into a treatment tank over a first path. Slaked lime is added to the water to be treated over a second path. Calcium chloride is added to the water to be treated over a third path. Thus, the fluorine contained in the water to be treated combines with calcium forming slaked lime or calcium chloride, thus yielding calcium fluoride, which is immobilized. When a filter film immersed in the water to be treated is used for filtration, the calcium fluoride contained in the water to be treated is concentrated.

Apparatus for treating water

Provided are a coagulation treatment apparatus capable of removing fine objects of removal from a fluid containing the objects of removal, and a coagulation treatment method using the apparatus. A coagulation treatment apparatus for a fluid according to the present invention includes a production device for introducing ions of metal belonging to Group 8 of the periodic table into a fluid containing objects of removal and for producing a coagulated substance in which the objects of removal and the metal ions are bonded to each other. Moreover, a coagulation treatment apparatus of another embodiment includes: the production device for introducing ions of metal belonging to Group 8 of the periodic table into a fluid containing objects of removal and for producing a coagulated substance in which the objects of removal and the metal ions are bonded to each other; and the introduction device for coagulating the objects of removal by introducing the coagulated substance produced by the production device into the fluid.

Wastewater treatment equipment

A filtration apparatus is provided which is easy to maintain, manage and which enables preservation of filtration characteristics due to the fact that filtration is carried out by use of a gelatinous filter apparatus. In the filtration apparatus, filtration characteristics can be maintained by providing a bubble supplying mechanism for removing a sedimentary layer comprising removables that is formed on a surface of a filtration film and a filtration characteristics restoring mechanism for restoring the filter film clogged by the removables by causing a back-flow of filtered water accumulated in a cistern. Filtration apparatus maintenance and management are facilitated by improving recovery efficiency of the precipitated removables by tapering a lower part inside a raw water tank and providing a recovery tank for recovering removables via a valve.

Filtration apparatus

An object is to provide a water treatment device which can treat for-treatment water containing fluorine components into a state adaptable to the environment and which can treat nitrogen compounds without influencing a concentration of the for-treatment water containing the nitrogen compounds. The water treatment device includes: a fluorine content removing unit to separate a substance to be removed from the for-treatment water in which the substance to be removed including a fluorine content is mixed; an electrochemical treatment unit including at least a pair of electrodes submerged at least partially in the for-treatment water, from which the substance to be removed has been separated, to perform a treatment by an electrochemical technique; and a biological treatment unit which biologically treats the water treated by the electrochemical technique.

There are provided an electrode for electrolysis which takes into consideration safety to human bodies and environmental pollution upon disposal of the electrode, produces ozone with high efficiency and has excellent durability, a production process of the electrode, and an active oxygen producing device using the electrode. In an electrodefor electrolysis which has an electrode catalyst at least on the surface and produces ozone or active oxygen in for-treatment water by electrolysis, the electrode catalyst contains a dielectric which constitutes more than 70% of the surface area of the electrode catalyst.

Object of the preferred embodiment is to remove sol-form microparticles and nitrogen components contained in CMP wastewater. Sol-form microparticle components contained in CMP wastewater are removed by a filtration treatment using a filter device, having a gel-form second filter. Also, nitrogen components in the CMP wastewater are removed by an electrochemical treatment using electrode. The filtration treatment and the electrochemical treatment can be carried out in individual tanks or can be carried out in the same tank. By performing the filtration treatment and the electrochemical treatment in the same tank, a space-saving water treatment device can be provided.

Water treatment device and water treatment method using the same

A filtering method is directed to a wastewater of CMP process, which includes sub-micrometer particles suspended as colloid. The wastewater is filtered by a gel membrane formed on a surface of plastic filter. A coagulant or a pH adjuster is added to the wastewater so that the sub-micrometer particles are coagulated to form the gel membrane.

Filtering method of a colloidal solution

A filtration device is provided in which wastewater, in the form of a colloidal solution containing microparticles, is guided to tank, circulated, and filtrated using a second filter. The device includes a gel film that is formed by suction on the surface of a first filter. The suction pressure in this process is made extremely weak to maintain the filtration capacity while extending intervals prior to clogging of second filter . Furthermore, a filtration device is realized with which the gel film of second filter that becomes adsorbed onto the surface of first filter can be separated readily by stopping the suction and filtration can be continued again thereafter.
