Spark ignition engine

A vaporized-fuel processing device for an engine stabilizes the idling operation wherein vaporized fuel within a fuel reservoir is adsorbed to an adsorbing member of a canister. While the engine is in operation, air is sucked from an air inlet into the canister with the intake-air negative pressure produced in an intake-air passage. This air separates the vaporized fuel adsorbed to the adsorbing member of the canister. Purge gas resulting from mixing the vaporized fuel into the air is sucked from a purge-gas sucking port into the intake-air passage. A throttle valve is arranged in a throttle intake-air passage of a throttle body. An intake-air pipe is disposed intake-upstream of the throttle body and is communicated with the throttle intake-air passage. The intake-air pipe has a peripheral wall to which a purge-gas sucking pipe is detachably attached. The purge-gas sucking port is provided within the purge-gas sucking pipe.

Vaporized-fuel processing device for an engine

An air-cooled V-shaped engine comprises a throttle body () and a flow-dividing plate () arranged ahead of a central cooling-air passage (). The flow-dividing plate () is provided in a fan case () at a position forwardly of the throttle body () and has a bottom-plate portion () disposed at a position lower than the throttle body (). The flow-dividing plate () divides the cooling air generated by an air-blowing fan () toward left and right sides of the central cooling-air passage (). In this air-cooled V-shaped engine, the fan case () has a ceiling wall a central portion () of which is positioned just above the bottom-plate portion () of the flow-dividing plate (). The central portion () of the ceiling wall of the flow-dividing plate () is provided at a position higher than the throttle body () as well as the central side portions (), () of the ceiling wall, led out of the central portion () in a left and right directions.

Air-cooled V-shaped engine

A fuel supplying device for an engine comprises a carburetor (1) having a mixing body (2) in which a venturi passage (3) is provided, a float chamber (4) being arranged in the mixing body (2), a liquid fuel nozzle (5) communicating with the float chamber (4), a liquid fuel nozzle outlet (6) facing the venturi passage (3). The mixing body (2) is provided with a gaseous fuel nozzle (7). The liquid fuel nozzle outlet (6) and a gaseous fuel nozzle outlet (8) are faced to the same venturi passage (3) so as to be able to supply the alternative of a liquid fuel or a gaseous fuel.
