Disclosed are: a method for suppressing adhesion of air harmful substances, including applying a metal oxide (A) having an average primary particle diameter dof 800 nm or less to skin in an amount of 0.03 mg/cmor more to suppress adhesion of air pollutants to the skin, and a method for suppressing adhesion of air pollutants, including applying an external preparation to skin to suppress adhesion of air pollutants to the skin, wherein the external preparation contains the component (AI), and the component (BI), the component (BII) or the component (BIII), and the ratio by mass of the content of the component (BI), the component (BII) or the component (BIII) to the content of the component (AI) in the external preparation each falls within a specific range. Component (AI): a hydrophobized metal oxide having an average primary particle diameter dof 800 nm or less. Component (BI): an ester oil. Component (BII): a nonvolatile hydrocarbon oil. Component (BIII): a nonvolatile silicone oil.

Method for suppressing adhesion of air harmful substances

A scanning type endoscope includes a light guide section configured to guide illumination light, a ferrule provided along the light guide section, an actuator configured to vibrate the ferrule to thereby swing a distal end of the light guide section, a cylindrical member configured to include a space containing the light guide section, the ferrule and the actuator and being provided along the light guide section, and a damping section configured to fix the ferrule to the cylindrical member and absorb vibration of the ferrule, in which the damping section is formed of a ferrule holding member configured to hold a proximal end of the ferrule and a ring-shaped member configured to fix the ferrule holding member to the cylindrical member, be disposed near a joint in the cylindrical member connected to holding member and be made of a material that absorbs vibration of the ferrule.

A scanning endoscope includes: an optical fiber that guides light emitted from a light source section, and emits the light from a distal end; an actuator that expands and contracts to scan with the light emitted from the distal end of the optical fiber; a ferrule that transmits, to the optical fiber, force corresponding to the expansion and contraction of the actuator; a ferrule holding part that holds the ferrule; a lens holding part that is formed of a cylindrical member provided outside the optical fiber along the optical fiber, and holds a lens, the lens receiving the light emitted from the distal end of the optical fiber; and an absorption part that absorbs vibration, in a longitudinal direction of the cylindrical member, of at least one of the ferrule holding part and the lens holding part.

Ultrasonic motor

In an ultrasonic motor, an elliptical vibration is generated by combining a longitudinal primary resonance vibration, resulting from an expansion and a contraction of a vibrator in a direction of a central axis, and a torsional secondary resonance vibration or a torsional tertiary resonance vibration resulting from twisting of the vibrator about the central axis. A dimension ratio of a rectangle of the vibrator is chosen such that a resonance frequency of the longitudinal primary resonance vibration, resulting from the expansion and the contraction of the vibrator in the direction of the central axis, and a resonance frequency of the torsional secondary resonance vibration or the torsional tertiary resonance vibration, resulting from twisting of the vibrator about rotation axis, substantially match. The vibrator includes, stacked in a short side direction of the cross-section, at least one torsional piezoelectric body that generates the torsional secondary resonance vibration or the torsional tertiary resonance vibration, and a piezoelectric body for longitudinal vibration that generates at least the longitudinal primary resonance vibration.

In an ultrasonic motor, an elliptical vibration is generated by combining a longitudinal primary resonance vibration resulting from an expansion and a contraction of the vibrator in a direction of the central axis and a torsional secondary resonance vibration or a torsional tertiary resonance vibration resulting from twisting of a rotation axis, and the dimension ratio of the rectangle of the vibrator is chosen such that a resonance frequency of the longitudinal primary resonance vibration, resulting from the expansion and the contraction of the vibrator in the direction of the central axis and a resonance frequency of the torsional secondary resonance vibration or the torsional tertiary resonance vibration resulting from twisting of the rotation axis match. The vibrator includes a torsional piezoelectric body that generates a thickness shear vibration, and that is arranged at an anti-node position of the torsional secondary resonance vibration or the torsional tertiary resonance vibration.

Elliptical vibrations are generated by combining longitudinal primary resonance vibrations resulting from expansion and contraction of a vibrator in a direction of a central axis and torsional secondary resonance vibrations or torsional tertiary resonance vibrations resulting from twisting of the vibrator around the central axis. A dimension ratio of a rectangle of the vibrator is set such that a resonance frequency of the longitudinal primary resonance vibrations and a resonance frequency of the torsional secondary resonance vibrations or the torsional tertiary resonance vibrations almost match. The vibrator includes a plurality of piezoelectric sheets. The longitudinal primary resonance vibrations and the torsional secondary resonance vibrations or the torsional tertiary resonance vibrations are generated because of formation of activation regions by polarization in a thickness direction of the piezoelectric sheets.

There is provided a distributed control system including a plurality of field controllers which are connected through a control network. Each of the field controllers includes: a control clock that defines a control timing of the field controller; and an adjustment unit that adjusts a control time of the control clock depending on a network time obtained through the control network.

A camera according to this invention comprises a photographing optical system which forms an optical image of an object, a photoelectric conversion element which converts the optical image into an electric signal, an optical element arranged between the photographing optical system and the photoelectric conversion element, and vibration means which vibrates the optical element first at one of at least two frequencies and then at the other frequency, the frequencies being close to resonance frequencies.
