A loudspeaker includes a diaphragm that vibrates back and forth to emit a sound, a magnetic circuit that is provided on a rear side of the diaphragm and has a magnetic gap on a diaphragm side, and a voice coil that is directly or indirectly joined to the diaphragm and disposed within the magnetic gap. A magnetic fluid is loaded within the magnetic gap. Also, a plurality of first edge pieces are provided at different positions in an outer circumferential portion of the diaphragm for vibratably supporting the diaphragm, each of the first edge pieces having a non-linear cross-sectional shape.

Provided is a loudspeaker having a thin long structure, and the loudspeaker includes: a frame; a diaphragm having a hollow structure and in which a shape of a plane that is perpendicular to a vibration direction is an oblong shape having a long side and a short side; an edge vibratably supporting the diaphragm and being fixed to the frame; at least one cylinder-shaped voice coil bobbin connected to the diaphragm in a penetrating manner; a voice coil disposed inside the hollow structure of the diaphragm and attached to the voice coil bobbin; and a magnetic circuit disposed inside the voice coil bobbin and configured to drive the voice coil.

A speaker includes a diaphragm formed as an elongated box-shaped five face body having one open face; an edge for supporting the diaphragm so as to enable vibration of the diaphragm; a voice coil wound around and fixed to four side faces which are among the five faces of the diaphragm and which are adjacent to the open face; and a magnetic circuit for supplying a drive force to the voice coil. The diaphragm is configured such that a height from the open face to an upper face opposed to the open face is greater than or equal to twice a thickness of the voice coil, and a length of a long side of the upper face is greater than or equal to twice a length of a short side of the upper face, and the upper face and two side faces of the diaphragm define a long side direction of the diaphragm. A speaker device includes a plurality of speaker units arranged in a line when seen from the front side of the speaker device. At least one of intervals between effective vibration regions of adjacent speaker units is set to a predetermined length. The predetermined length is a length that is set such that a difference between a distance from an end of one of the effective vibration regions, which form the at least one of intervals therebetween, to a listening position, and a distance from an end of the other of the effective vibration regions to the listening position can be less than half the shortest wavelength of a reproduced sound of each of the speaker units.

An electro-acoustical transducer of the present invention includes: a diaphragm of an elongated shape; a first magnet of a parallelepiped shape which is situated at a side of one principal surface of the diaphragm such that long sides thereof are in parallel with long sides of the diaphragm, and which is polarized in a short side direction to form a magnetic gap; a second magnet of a parallelepiped shape which is situated next to the first magnet in the short side direction of the diaphragm, such that long sides thereof are in parallel with the long sides of the diaphragm, and which is polarized toward a direction in a manner opposite to the first magnet so as to form a magnetic gap; and a coil of an elongated ring shape which is situated on the diaphragm such that long sides thereof are situated in the magnetic gaps.

An elongated loudspeaker having high sound quality includes an elongated flat-plate-shaped diaphragm, a frame having an opening portion larger than the diaphragm, an edge placed between an inner periphery of the frame around the opening portion and an outer periphery of the diaphragm allowing the diaphragm to vibrate, a coupling cone extending from a rear surface of the diaphragm and including two elongated portions arranged parallel to a longitudinal direction of the diaphragm, a voice coil wound around at least the two elongated portions, and a magnetic circuit that imparts, to the voice coil, a driving force for generating sound. A distance between the two elongated portions of the coupling cone is smaller at end positions than at root positions. The elongated portions are shaped/sized such that the entire two elongated portions are included within magnetic gaps of the magnetic circuit when the coupling cone vibrates along with the diaphragm.

A speaker includes a diaphragm, edges, at least one voice coil bobbin, a voice coil, and a magnetic circuit. The diaphragmis a long flat plate. The edgesat ends of the diaphragmin a longer-side direction support the diaphragmto vibrate. The voice coil bobbinhas a substantially square pillar shape with a height more than twice as vibrational amplitude of the diaphragm, includes an opening having a periphery connected directly to the diaphragm, and supports the diaphragmto transmit vibration to it. The voice coilis wound around an outer periphery of the voice coil bobbinsubstantially at center in a height direction. The magnetic circuitdrives the voice coil. The long speaker is unlikely to cause breakeup resonance, and has smooth frequency characteristics to offer good sound quality.

An electro-acoustic transducer includes a diaphragm, a casing which is formed with an opening for directly or indirectly supporting the diaphragm, a first magnetic pole section provided on a side of the opening with respect to the diaphragm and having a magnetic pole at a surface which faces the diaphragm, a second magnetic pole section provided on a side of an inner bottom surface of the casing with respect to the diaphragm and having a magnetic pole at least a part of a surface which faces the first magnetic pole section through the diaphragm, and a drive coil provided on the diaphragm and located in a magnetic gap formed by the first and second magnetic pole sections. The magnetic poles of the first and second magnetic pole sections which face each other through the diaphragm have the same polarity. An outer shape of the surface of the first magnetic pole section which faces the diaphragm is smaller than that of the surface of the second magnetic pole section which faces the diaphragm.

Electric-acoustic transducer and electronic device

A diaphragm unit is arranged to be used in a loudspeaker including a frame. The diaphragm includes a diaphragm and an edge joined to an outer periphery of the diaphragm. The diaphragm extends in a longitudinal direction and has a first center line extends along the longitudinal direction. The edge has an outer periphery being arranged to join to the frame, and an inner periphery joined to the outer periphery of the diaphragm. The edge has a convex surface having substantially a semi-circular cross section. The convex surface of the edge has grooves provided therein. The grooves extend from the inner periphery of the edge to the outer periphery of the edge. The grooves have cross sections each having a U-shape or a V-shape, and are arranged symmetrically about the first center line of the diaphragm. This diaphragm unit provides an elongated loudspeaker reproducing bass sounds with small distortions.

Diaphragm unit and speaker using the same

A loudspeaker comprises a diaphragm, an edge operable to support, on a frame, the diaphragm in such a manner that enables vibration thereof, and a voice coil operable to generate a driving force. The voice coil is of an approximate rectangular shape, and a length of a long axis direction of the voice coil is no less than 60% of a length of a long axis direction of the diaphragm. Positions of long sides of the voice coil to be fixed on the diaphragm are positions corresponding to nodes of a primary resonance mode in a short axis direction of the diaphragm, or in the respective vicinities thereof. Accordingly, it is possible to realize a high sound quality loudspeaker having a narrow width (elongated structure), but not easily causing resonance, thereby obtaining a flat frequency characteristic.

Loudspeaker

The speaker according to the present invention comprises: a magnetic circuit; a diaphragm, a part of which is located in a magnetic gap formed in the magnetic circuit; a ring-shaped first voice coil formed on a first vibrating surface of the diaphragm; a ring-shaped second voice coil which is formed on a second vibrating surface of the diaphragm, the second vibrating surface being an opposite surface to the first vibrating surface, and which is electrically conducted with the first voice coil; and an edge firmly fixed on an outer margin of the first vibrating surface and operable to support the diaphragm in such a manner that enables vibration. The first voice coil is formed so as to be located inside of an inner circumference of the edge and also within the magnetic gap. The second voice coil is formed so as to have at least a part of an outermost circumference thereof is located outside of the inner circumference of the edge and within the magnetic gap.

Speaker

A loudspeaker includes a diaphragm, an edge, and a voice coil. The diaphragm includes a groove having a concave cross section. Also, the diaphragm is in a horizontally or vertically elongated shape. The edge is coupled to an outer circumference of the diaphragm, and has a roughly half-round shaped cross section. The voice coil is bonded to the groove. The voice coil is thicker than a depth of the groove. Also, the voice coil has a cross section in which a dimension in a direction along a plane of the diaphragm is longer than a dimension in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the diaphragm.
