A disposable pants-type wearing article includes an inner sheet, an outer sheet and an intermediate sheet having two or more plastic film strips sandwiched between the inner sheet and the outer sheet. The film strips are overlapped one another to define an overlapped region dimensioned to be 10 to 100 mm in a longitudinal direction of the wearing article and extend in a transverse direction to the vicinity of leg-surrounding elastic members.

Disposable pants-type wearing article

A disposable wearing article includes a backsheet which is composed of inner and outer sheets and a light transmission in a region of the backsheet in which the inner and outer sheets are placed upon each other is in a range of 20 to 50%. First and second elastic members constituting leg elastic members are colored in substantially the same white or milky white as that of the inner and outer sheets and respective intermediate segments of these elastic members are sandwiched between a liquid-absorbent layer and the inner sheet. The inner and outer sheets conceal the respective intermediate segments of these elastic members so that the respective intermediate segments of the elastic members are not highly visible and the article is protected from any deterioration of its appearance.

Disposable wearing article

A disposable diaper including a topsheet, a backsheet and a core disposed therebetween. A pair of outer side barrier cuffs and a pair of inner side barrier cuffs lying more inwardly of the outer side barrier cuffs are formed adjacent transversely opposite side edges and extend longitudinally thereof. Each of the outer side barrier cuffs has its longitudinally opposite ends covered with a pair of end barrier flaps that are positioned adjacent longitudinally opposite ends of the diaper so as to form front and rear pockets, respectively. The inner side barrier cuffs are shorter than the outer side barrier cuffs.

Disposable diaper

A disposable garment that includes a crotch region. The crotch region has a pair of folding guides that extend transversely across a zone defined between peripheral edge portions of respective leg-openings and intersect each other in a transversely middle zone of the crotch region. The crotch region is tucked about the folding guides inwardly of the garment so that the crotch region may be divided by the folding guides into substantially triangular first and second zones defined between the peripheral edge portions of the respective leg-openings and the folding guides, respectively, a third zone extending from the folding guides into a front region, and a fourth zone extending from the folding guides into a rear region with the first and second zones being disposed between the third and fourth zones.

A disposable body fluids absorbent article is provided on an outer surface of a backsheet thereof with a tape fastener for fastening the used article in a rolled up condition for disposal. The tape fastener includes a fixed end portion secured to the outer surface of the backsheet, a free end portion longitudinally opposite the fixed end portion, an elastically stretchable portion extending longitudinally between these opposite end portions, and an adhesive portion extending longitudinally between the free end portion and the elastically stretchable portion and releasably bonded to the outer surface of the backsheet.

Disposal securing arrangements provided on a backsheet of body fluids absorbent garment for disposal thereof has a first strip section bonded to the backsheet, a second strip section bonded to the backsheet, a third strip section having a proximal end portion connected to at least one of the first and second strip sections, and a free end portion. The third strip section includes a stretchable extent defined between these opposite end portions. The third strip section is separably held against the first strip section by a securing region provided thereon. The first and second section strip sections respectively have holding forces sufficient to remain held against the backsheet as the third strip section is peeled off from the first strip section and stretched. The holding force generated in the first strip section is equal to or higher than the holding force generated in the second strip section.

A disposable body fluids absorbent article including an absorbent core contained discrete particles, the discrete particles consisting of first polymer particles which have an initial water absorption rate and second polymer particles which have an initial water absorption rate lower than that of the first polymer particles, the first polymer particles being distributed exclusively in a zone defined by a lower &frac12; of a thickness of the core.

A disposal tape securing arrangement used to secure a disposable body fluid absorbent article such as a disposable diaper in a rolled up state for disposal includes an adhesive tape and a release tape. The adhesive tape is fixed at one end portion to the outer surface of the article and has an adhesive zone on the opposite end portion (i.e., free end portion). The release tape extends in alignment with the adhesive tape and has a release portion fixed to the outer surface of the article and a fold-back portion being contiguous to the release portion and folded back adjacent the end of the adhesive tape. The adhesive zone provided on the adhesive tape is releasably bonded to the release portion and the fold-back portion of the release tape is fixed to the inner surface of the free end portion of the adhesive tape.

Disposable body fluid absorbent article having disposable securing means

A disposable body fluids absorbent garment is provided with disposal securing means including a tape fastener used to secure the garment in its rolled up state for disposal. The tape fastener comprises an extendible intermediate tape section and a pair of inelastic and adhesive distal end tape sections extending from the intermediate tape section in a direction of its extension. A region of the tape fastener extending between the pair of distal end tape sections is partially bonded to an outer surface of a backsheet of the garment so that this region is not inseparable from the backsheet when the tape fastener is pulled in an extension direction thereof.

A pull-on disposable absorbent garment such as a diaper has a front waist region, a rear waist region and a crotch region defined by a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core disposed therebetween. The front and rear waist regions are provided with a plurality of elastic members arranged most densely in proximity of longitudinal opposite ends of the absorbent core.

In a diaper as one embodiment of a disposable absorbent undergarment according to the invention, the diaper is provided around a front region thereof with a plurality of elastic elements The number of the elastic elements arranged in an area defined by respective vertical widths of 10 mm above and below a front edge of an absorbent core disposed between top- and backsheets is greater than that of the elastic element in the remaining area of the front region. An elongation stress of the elastic elements in the area mentioned firstly is lower than that of the elastic elements in the area mentioned lastly.

Absorbent pants type undergarment having differently tensioned elastic

Superabsorbent polymer particles are used in a liquid-absorbent core of a disposable body fluid absorbent garment. The polymer particles include first polymer particles having a relatively high water-absorption speed and second polymer particles having a water-absorption speed longer than that of the first polymer particles by 10 seconds or more. The second polymer particles are integrally bonded to the first polymer particles.

A pants type disposable diaper having elastic ribbons around a waist-portion and a pair of leg-portions of said diaper, respectively, is provided on a transversely central zone of a crotch section on a front or rear side of said diaper, respectively, with a vertically extending fastening tape having an adhesive section provisionally bonded to the outer surface of a backsheet of said diaper and an upper end or a lower end permanently bonded to the outer surface of said backsheet.
