In an inner wall surface of a casing, grooves are formed that correspond to end faces of an outer rotor and an inner rotor, and seal members are disposed within the grooves, the seal members presses against the end faces of the outer rotor and the inner rotor. Inclined portions are provided in sealing portions of resin members of seal members, the sealing portions covering a closed portion. With this configuration, an internal pressure in the closed portion causes the inclined portions to separate from an outer rotor and an inner rotor when a brake fluid pressure within the closed portion increases to the point that the brake fluid is excessively compressed, releasing the brake fluid that is inside the closed portion. It is therefore possible to prevent the brake fluid pressure from increasing excessively within the closed portion.

Rotary pump and brake device in which rotary pump is provided

A bearing is located with movement of an outer race in the longitudinal direction of a drive shaft being restricted, and the drive shaft is fixed to an inner race with the press fit, so that, it is possible to prevent the drive shaft from escaping. In addition, the inner race is longer than the outer race. Therefore, it is possible to obtain sufficient strength of the press fit of the drive shaft in the inner race while suppressing the size of the outer race (in other words, suppressing the size of the pump device). As a consequence, the size of the pump device can be suppressed while increasing reliability of the function for preventing the drive shaft from escaping.

Pump device

A pump body includes a cylindrical first case for housing the plurality of rotary pumps, a second case located coaxially with the first case, and a disk spring located between the first case and the second case. In addition, a fixing means located at an entrance of the concave portion of a housing presses the second case in the insertion direction of the pump body and fixes the second case.

Vehicular brake device

A stopper formed of a magnetic material and forming a portion of a magnetic circuit has a deformable portion that deforms in accordance with the pressure in a space within a sleeve. The deformable portion is provided with a pressure sensor that measures the amount of deformation of the deformable portion. The deformable portion, corresponding to a diaphragm, is formed in the stopper, which is a conventional electromagnetic valve component part. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to provide a diaphragm or a seal member.

Electromagnetic valve and fluid control apparatus

If a pressure sensor is increased in size and therefore the inside diameter of a yoke is increased, a stopper is provided with a large-diameter portion. The large-diameter portion makes it possible to reduce the air gap between the stopper and the yoke and therefore suppress an increase in magnetic resistance. Besides, a magnetic circuit member is provided at an outer peripheral side of a sleeve. The magnetic circuit member makes it possible to reduce the air gap between the yoke and an armature and therefore suppress an increase in magnetic resistance.

Electromagnetic valve and mounting method thereof

A rotary pump such as a trochoid pump is composed of a housing and a rotating structure including an inner rotor and an outer rotor. The rotating structure is rotatably enclosed in a rotor space formed in the housing. The rotor space is divided into a low pressure space communicating with an inlet port and a high pressure space communicating with an outlet port by a pair of peripheral seals disposed in radial grooves formed in an inner periphery of the housing and by a side seal disposed in an axial space between the rotating structure and the housing. The side seal is disposed in the axial space not to cover sidewalls of the radial grooves belonging to the high pressure space, so that the side seal is bent by the pressure in the high pressure space to effectively seal the axial space.

Rotary pump and braking apparatus using rotary pump

In a pump apparatus having a plurality of rotary pumps, an axis of a drive shaft is disposed perpendicularly to the gravity direction and the respective intake and discharge ports of the pumps extend in a direction opposite to the gravity direction. A housing, in which the pumps are contained, is provided with brake fluid passages connected to the intake and discharge ports, respectively. The respective brake fluid passages also extend in a direction opposite to the gravity direction. As a result, air entered into brake fluid may be easily purged through the intake and discharge ports and the brake fluid passages.

Vehicle brake apparatus with rotary pump

In a pump equipment having one or more rotary pumps for a hydraulic circuit, the intake port is communicated with the shaft hole for inserting the drive shaft and fluid flows through the shaft hole to a fluid groove provided in inner surfaces of the pump room for the purpose of lubrication. To prevent fluid leakage to the outside, first and second oil seals are disposed for filling the clearance between the drive shaft and the shaft hole and, preferably, a communicating conduit is provided between the first and second oil seals to transmit the fluid leaked through the first oil seal to a low pressure fluid conduit of the hydraulic circuit. In particular, in the pump equipment having plural rotary pumps, the respective discharge ports of the rotary pumps are located at the points which are nearly symmetrical with respect to the center axis of the drive shaft to counterbalance each other, the reaction forces against the drive shaft to be produced by the high pressure at the respective discharge ports.

Pump equipment and method for assembling same

A pressure-adjusting reservoir which can reduce an unstable movement of a ball valve therein to release a pulse of brake fluid. The pressure-adjusting reservoir has a pressure-adjusting valve constructed so that a tip portion of a pin pushes up a ball valve to open a valve hole when brake fluid reserved in a reservoir chamber is less than a predetermined amount, and the tip portion of the pin is released from the ball valve to close the valve hole when the reservoir chamber is filled with the predetermined amount of brake fluid. The tip portion of the pin has a slant surface slanting with respect to a sliding direction of the pin. In this case, the ball valve contacts with at least two portions including the slant surface and one of a part of a valve seat and inner wall of a housing, and is supported at plural portions. Therefore, the unstable movement of the ball valve can be reduced.

In the rotary pump, a sealing member is provided at a clearance between a casing and axial end surfaces of the inner and outer rotors, the sealing member extending from an outer circumference of the outer rotor, via the inner rotor between a drive shaft and a discharge port, to another circumference of the outer rotor so that brake fluid communication from the discharge port to an intake port may be prevented, but the brake fluid communication between the outer circumference of the outer rotor and almost all of teeth gap portions on a discharge port side and, further, between almost all of teeth gap portions on an intake port side and a clearance between the drive shaft and the inner rotor may be allowed.

Rotary pump with better fluid sealing structure and brake apparatus having same

A brake control apparatus for automotive vehicles is provided which has two separate hydraulic brake lines leading to wheel cylinders and performs a brake assisting operation to hold the wheel cylinder pressure higher than the master cylinder pressure in each of the hydraulic brake lines when a brake pedal is depressed by a vehicle operator. The brake control apparatus also includes a fluid pressure difference regulator which regulates a pressure difference between the two hydraulic brake lines so as to fall within a given allowable pressure range, thereby minimizing adverse effects on the brake assisting operation which are caused by electric and/or mechanical performance difference between the two hydraulic brake lines.

Hydraulic structure of automatic brake control system

A housing of a brake booster 100 includes a pair of shells 1 and 5 and a ring 3 interposed therebetween which cooperatively define an interior space for accommodating a power piston 13. The interior space is divided into a front chamber 15 and a rear chamber 16 partitioned by the power piston 13. The power piston 13 has a diaphragm 2 interposed between the front chamber 15 and the rear chamber 16. The diaphragm 2 is shiftable in an axial direction thereof in response to pressure imbalance between the front chamber 15 and the rear chamber 16. A convolution chamber 2d is provided between an inner side of the housing and an outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm 2. The convolution chamber 2d is defined by a resilient annular member flattened in the axial direction and isolated from both the front chamber 15 and the rear chamber 16. The annular member elastically rolls along the inner side of the housing in response to pressure imbalance between the convolution chamber 2d and one of the front 15 and rear chambers 16. And, a port 28 is formed in the ring 3 to supply constant pressure into the convolution chamber 2b.

A braking system actuator includes a casing which accommodates therein a plurality of electromagnetic valves for controlling operations of a hydraulic circuit. A plurality of terminals which are connected to an external circuit are embedded in a surrounding wall of the casing with a given distance for insulation from each other. Connecting portions of the terminals for the electromagnetic valves extend from the surrounding wall of the casing to reach the neighborhood of corresponding solenoid terminals of the electromagnetic valves for connection therewith. On the other hand, connecting portions of the terminals for a motor which drives a hydraulic pump are connected to positive and negative terminals of the motor, respectively.
