A hydraulic closed circuit system using a single rod type hydraulic cylinder prevents the hunting of a flushing valve due to a delay in response of the flushing valve and circuit pressure pulsations, thereby preventing a decrease in operability of the hydraulic cylinder. A single rod type hydraulic cylinder is connected to a hydraulic pump via two hydraulic lines. A flushing valve is connected between the hydraulic lines and a tank; and a control unit is configured to add a predetermined control parameter to a pressure in a lower-pressure hydraulic line of the two hydraulic lines. The magnitude of a pressure in the higher-pressure hydraulic line of the two hydraulic lines is compared with the magnitude of a compensation pressure to which the control parameter has been added, and the flushing valve is switched when the compensation pressure and the higher-pressure hydraulic line pressure are found to be reversed in magnitude.

Hydraulic closed circuit system

A self-propelled cleaning device having a cylindrical side cover has a suction body capable of moving transversely to the forward direction. The side cover is held by a base via a suspension. When cleaning corners of a room, the suction body moves by a wall and as the suction body moves to a corner, the movement amount of the suction body is changed. When an obstacle touches the cleaning device, the side cover moves, and the article touches a side cover switch, and the direction of the article is detected.

A therapeutic bed is arranged so that its inclination is adjusted by a bed inclination adjusting device provided to a rotation drive device disposed in a Y-direction moving device. The bed inclination adjusting device supports the therapeutic bed at three points by its three inclination adjusters. Each of the inclination adjusters converts the rotation of a motor into the rectilinear motion of a slider, and varies the level of a universal joint provided to the therapeutic bed by a support rod rotatably attached to the slider. This allows the inclination angle of the therapeutic bed to be varied. The provision of the bed inclination adjusting device reduces the number of drive devices for positioning the therapeutic bed, thereby decreasing the cumulative value of errors in all drive devices.

A widthwise-compressing machine for applying a compression force through press tools to a material to reduce a width of the material while applying vibrations to said material to forcibly vibrate said material has a compression unit for producing a compression force forming a working force, and a vibration-applying unit for applying the vibration to said material. The vibration-applying unit is provided independently of the compression unit. In the widthwise-compressing machine, when the material is plastically worked, the material can be vibrated at an extremely high frequency to make it possible to resonate the material, thereby allowing the plastic-deformation thereof to be promoted.
