Battery protection apparatus and vehicle including the same

A vehicle battery unit comprising: a plurality of battery modules; an electric connection box; a battery control device configured to control the plurality of battery modules, a signal line extending from the electric connection box; a voltage detection line extending from the plurality of battery modules; and a battery case which accommodates the plurality of battery modules, the electric connection box, the battery control device, the signal line, and the voltage detection line. The battery control device includes: a first connector to which the signal line is connected on the one side in the front-rear direction; and a second connector to which the voltage detection line is connected on the other side in the front-rear direction. The battery control device is disposed above the plurality of battery modules and further on the one side than a center portion of the plurality of battery modules in the front-rear direction.

Vehicle battery unit

In order to reduce noise current leaking out from a frame to which semiconductor devices constituting a three-level power conversion circuit are attached to the outside of a power conversion device, the frame to which the semiconductor devices constituting the three-level power conversion circuit with which the power conversion device is equipped are attached is configured to be electrically connected to a neutral point of the three-level power conversion circuit. The noise current leaking out from the frame is thereby drawn back to the neutral point of the three-level power conversion circuit to suppress the flowing out of the noise current to the outside of the power conversion device and reduce the noise current.

This vehicle body substructure includes side sill load transmitting members that are provided inside each of side sills, a floor cross-member that is provided on one of an upper surface and a lower surface of a floor panel laid between the side sills and has extending portions extending toward upper portions of the side sill load transmitting members, an underfloor mounting component that is provided below the floor panel and includes an underfloor cross-member, underfloor frames that are attached to lower portions of the underfloor mounting component and the side sills, and underfloor load transmitting members that are provided in the underfloor frames and face the underfloor cross-member. Vehicle body substructure

A cooling structure of a vehicle battery unit includes: at least two battery modules; a battery cooling unit; an electric connection box; a battery case; a supply pipe; and a discharge pipe. The supply pipe includes: a first supply pipe portion passing between a battery module of the at least two battery modules, which is the battery module located on one side in a vehicle width direction, and the electric connection box; and a second supply pipe portion passing between the at least two battery modules. The discharge pipe includes: a first discharge pipe portion passing between a battery module of the at least two battery modules, which is the battery module located on the other side in the vehicle width direction, and the electric connection box; and a second discharge pipe portion passing between the at least two battery modules.

Cooling structure of vehicle battery unit

In a vehicle body front structure for an electric vehicle, including a battery pack mounted beneath a vehicle body floor, a bracket and a rear end part of a vehicle body frame are each inclined downward from an upper front to a rear. When viewed in a fore-and-aft direction, at least part of the bracket overlaps the rear end part. Therefore, the rear end part, moving rearward due to frontal collision, abuts against the bracket, and the frame slips and drops downward from the upper front to the lower rear along the bracket, thus preventing any decrease in crash stroke of the frame due to interference with the battery pack at the end stage of collision. Since abutment relationship with the rear end part can be adjusted merely changing angle of inclination or position of the bracket, the cost is very low.

Vehicle body front structure for electric vehicle

A vehicle body lower structure includes a pair of left and right side sills, a battery pack and a battery cross member. The battery pack accommodates a battery cell therein, and end portions in a vehicle width direction are coupled to the side sills while being disposed below a floor panel. The battery cross member is disposed inside the battery pack substantially in the vehicle width direction and extends further outward in the vehicle width direction than the battery cell. The battery cross member includes a first cross member and a second cross member extending further outward in the vehicle width direction than the first cross member.

Vehicle body lower structure

Provided is a mechanical lash adjuster including a plunger, a housing put into thread engagement with the plunger in an axial direction to form a thread engagement portion, the plunger engaging member fixed and retained in a circumferential direction of the thread engagement portion, and a coil spring urging the plunger in a direction opposite to a urging-force acting direction of a coil spring. A lead and flank angles of threads forming the thread engagement portion are set such that when an axial load acts on the plunger in either of a plunger extension and contraction directions, the plunger is made self-sustaining, and when the plunger swings by an amount corresponding to a backlash due to a lateral load, the plunger slides and rotates at the thread engagement portion to move in an axial-load acting direction.

Mechanical lash adjuster

A vehicle body lower structure includes a battery pack, side sills, and a battery side frame that extends in a forward/rearward direction between the side sills and the battery pack and that is configured to support the battery pack, the battery side frame has a first attachment member fixed to the side sills, and a second attachment member that is coupled to the battery pack and that constitutes a closed cross section between the first attachment member and the battery pack, and the first attachment member has an outer fixing point fixed to the side sills and an inner fixing point fixed to a wall that constitutes a closed cross section of the second attachment member.

A vehicle body lower structure includes: a battery pack provided below a floor panel and in which a cell is received in an inside of a case; a side frame extending in a vehicle body forward/rearward direction at an outer side of the battery pack in a vehicle width direction and configured to support the battery pack; and a support bracket having a first extension section that is fixed to the cell and that is disposed at an inner side in the vehicle width direction, and a second extension section that is fixed to a longitudinal wall section of the case and that is disposed at an outer side in the vehicle width direction, wherein the second extension section extends in an upward/downward direction at an inner side of the side frame in the vehicle width direction.

A vehicle rear structure includes: a battery case to house a battery; a rear side frame, a rear crossmember, and a gusset, which are included in a rear load transfer member which is disposed rearward of the battery case and transfers forward a collision load at the time of collision; and a bracket to transfer the collision load from the rear load transfer member to the battery case. The bracket extends from the rear load transfer member to below the battery case and is joined to a bottom surface of the battery case in an up-down direction.

A power generation system includes a gas turbine having a compressor, a combustor, and a turbine, an inlet guide vane in an air intake port in the compressor, a first compressed air supply line for supplying compressed air compressed by the compressor to the combustor, a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) having an air electrode and a fuel electrode, a second compressed air supply line for supplying at least part of the compressed air compressed by the compressor to the air electrode, a control valve in the second compressed air supply line, and a control device for opening the control valve when the SOFC is activated and changing a degree of opening of the inlet guide vane from a preset reference degree of opening.

Air is restrained from flowing into a high pressure chamber while the number of parts is reduced. A plunger is slidably fitted into a body; a reservoir is formed in the plunger with a communication hole formed in a head section thereof to allow communication between an inside and an outside; a high pressure chamber is formed in the body between the body and the plunger bottom section; an oil supply hole is formed in a plunger circumferential wall section; a return spring is interposed between the body and the plunger; a valve mechanism is disposed on the plunger bottom section; the reservoir is set such that a space continuously extends; and the oil supply hole is oriented outward in the radial direction as compared to an axis of the plunger.
