A display device includes: a display panel including panel terminals; and a wiring substrate including first substrate terminals coupled to the panel terminals. The panel terminals include panel terminals arranged in a first region and panel terminals arranged in second regions sandwiching the first region. The first substrate terminals include first substrate terminals arranged in a third region and first substrate terminals arranged in fourth regions sandwiching the third region. A gap between panel terminals is substantially constant in the first and second regions. A first width of the panel terminals in the first region is different from a second width of the panel terminals in the second regions. A width of the first substrate terminals is substantially constant in the third and fourth regions. A first gap between first substrate terminals in the third region is different from a second gap between first substrate terminals in the fourth regions.

Display device and wiring substrate

A display device includes: a display panel including panel terminals; and a wiring substrate including first substrate terminals coupled to the panel terminals. The panel terminals include panel terminals arranged in a first region and panel terminals arranged in second regions sandwiching the first region. The first substrate terminals include first substrate terminals arranged in a third region and first substrate terminals arranged in fourth regions sandwiching the third region. A gap between panel terminals is substantially constant in the first and second regions. A first width of the panel terminals in the first region is different from a second width of the panel terminals is the second regions. A width of the first substrate terminals is substantially constant in the third and fourth regions. A first gap between first substrate terminals in the third region is different from a second gap between first substrate terminals in the fourth regions.

There is an electro-optical device. The electro-optical device includes: a substrate; a plurality of terminals, a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of source lines, and a plurality of wiring lines that are provided on the substrate; a mounting component that is mounted on the substrate with an anisotropic conductive film interposed therebetween and has a plurality of electrodes; and a counter substrate that is disposed so as to be opposite to the substrate and has a counter electrode. Further, the wiring lines are electrically connected to the counter electrode, the plurality of terminals includes testing terminals that are electrically connected to any one of the gate lines, the source lines, and the wiring lines, the plurality of terminals are disposed at locations, on the substrate, that two-dimensionally overlap the mounting component, and locations that do not overlap the plurality of electrodes of the mounting component, and the plurality of terminals are covered with the anisotropic conductive film that are provided between the mounting component and the substrate.

Electro-optical device and electronic apparatus

A mounting structure includes: a first substrate; a second substrate; a first terminal being formed on the first substrate and having a plurality of terminal portions arranged with a gap therebetween; a different terminal being formed on the first substrate and being adjacent to the first terminal; and a second terminal being formed on the second substrate and being electrically connected to at least one of the terminal portions of the first terminal. Here, the first terminal is supplied with a potential higher than that supplied to the different terminal.

Mounting structure, electro-optical device, and electronic apparatus

A mount structure includes a first electronic component and a second electronic component mounted to the first electronic component. The first and second electronic components include first and second terminals arrayed in strips and extending along a plurality of lines passing through first and second common points The second terminals are connected to the corresponding first terminals. The second common point substantially corresponds to the first common point. The range in which the first electronic component and the second electronic component are mounted includes a terminal region in which the first and second terminals are arrayed substantially at a specified interval, and a no terminal region in which there is no first terminals across a range wider than the specified interval or there are first dummy terminals in place of the first terminals. In the no terminal region, second dummy terminals are arrayed in strips and extend along the lines passing through the second common point.

Mount structure, electrooptic device, and electronic device

An electrooptical device includes a substrate and an electronic component mounted on the substrate with an adhesive. The substrate has terminals arranged thereon and wiring lines connected to the terminals and extending in a column direction. The terminals are divided into at least one first terminal group and at least one second terminal group that does not overlap the first terminal group in the column direction. The terminals of the first terminal group are shifted from each other in a row direction so that the adjacent terminals overlap each other in the column direction. The terminals of the second terminal group are shifted from each other in the row direction so that the adjacent terminals overlap each other in the column direction.

Electrooptical device, mounting assembly, method for producing electrooptical device, and electronic apparatus

A mounting structure includes a base member and an electronic component having a protruded electrode which is formed on a transparent substrate. The electrode includes pads and elastic projections that are covered with a conductive film. On the transparent substrate, terminals connected to the conductive film are formed. Dummy projections are provided on the surface of the base member. When mounting the electronic component, the electrodes are deformed by the pressure for the mounting. The dummy projections formed on the base member are also deformed. A pattern, for visually inspecting the deformation volume of dummy projections, is marked on the transparent substrate.
