An in-vehicle heating device according to the present invention is provided on a lower part of a front side of a seat cushion () serving as a seating unit of a vehicle seat (). The in-vehicle heating device includes: an air feeder () including a suction opening () through which external air is sucked into the air feeder (); a warm air generator () including a heater () therein, the warm air generator () being configured to heat air fed from the air feeder () to generate warm air; and a blow-out unit configured to blow out the warm air from the warm air generator (), such that the warm air is blown out forward of the seat cushion (). At least a part of the blow-out unit is positioned at a front of the seat cushion (), and doubles as a front shield, which serves as a decorative member.

In-vehicle heating device

A seat heater includes first heat-generating elements embedded in a seat so as to correspond to first sites of a seat occupant, second heat-generating elements embedded in the seat so as to correspond to second sites of the seat occupant, and a controller for executing a fluctuation control in which a first set temperature of the first heat-generating elements and a second set temperature of the second heat-generating elements are increased or decreased in each of a plurality of predetermined time periods. The controller sets the first set temperature to be higher than the second set temperature in one of the time periods and sets the second set temperature to be higher than the first set temperature in another of the time periods.

Seat heater

When a seat heater and a planar electric heater on a surface of an interior member are used in parallel, the seat heater and the planar electric heater cannot be heated sufficiently due to a limitation on an electric capacity of a vehicle, and in particular, in a vehicle having good engine efficiency, heating of an interior of a passenger compartment by air conditioning utilizing hot air generated by heat expelled from an engine is not sufficient, whereby there sometimes occurs a situation where occupants feel cold. A heating deviceis provided in a side door panelof a vehicle and a seat heater is made to be heated mainly at an initial stage of heating after an occupant gets in the vehicle, whereas the heating deviceis made to be heated after a predetermined period of time elapses, whereby the body of the occupant can be warmed quickly and efficiently without making the occupant feel cold physically.

Vehicle heating system

A planar heating device and a seat equipped with the device include: first and second warming heaters connected in parallel with electric power source; thermistor; thermostat connected in series with second warming heater; a heating part, i.e., first warming heater, that heats thermistor and thermostat; and controller to control temperatures of first and second warming heaters in accordance with temperature information from thermistor. For a period until thermostat turns off, quick-heating property is improved by energizing first and second warming heaters.

Planar heating device and seat with same

A seat with a heating device is provided which realizes a configuration in which the arm, palms and finger tips of a user can easily be warmed when the user uses the seat with the heating device. When the user is seated in a seat with a heating device and feels cold due to it being winter, the user controls a switch to heat the seat, whereby energization of heating elementsis started which are connected to a power supply via electric wires. When the energization of the heating elementsis started, heat generated thereby is conducted to skin materialsand surfaces of the skin materials are warmed. When the user places his or her arm on an armrest portion, the arm is warmed via the skin material, whereby the user can feel the sensation of comfortableness.

Seat with heating device

A monitoring system for preventing crime in a home, includes a plurality of terminals for monitoring whether predetermined monitoring points are in a stationary or nonstationary state. Further, the monitoring system includes a central processing device for controlling the setting/canceling of alarm operations of the terminals. The central processing device has a communication unit that receives stationary/nonstationary information from the terminals and transmits predetermined information including commands to the terminals. Each terminal has a communication unit that transmits stationary/nonstationary information to the central processing device and receives the predetermined information from the central processing device. Thus bidirectional communication can be achieved between the central processing device and the terminals. The terminals may include a terminal with an emergency call unit which, in an emergency, calls or notifies another, and a terminal having a notification unit which indicates that a nonstationary state has been accepted by a predetermined point of contact.

An object detecting device can prevent a seizure of an object between an opening and an opening-closing unit for opening and closing the opening. The object detecting device includes a pressure-sensitive sensor disposed at one of the opening and the opening-closing unit, and judging means for judging the contact of the object with the pressure-sensitive sensor on the basis of an output signal of the pressure-sensitive sensor. The pressure-sensitive sensor includes pressure-sensitive means for generating an output signal depending on deformation, and support means for supporting the pressure-sensitive means at the one of the opening and the opening-closing unit, the support means including a vibration damping portion for damping vibration propagated to the pressure-sensitive means.

A pressure sensitive sensor provided in at least one of an opening section and an opening and closing section for opening and closing the opening section and serving to detect pinching of an object between the opening section and the opening and closing section based on an output signal generated by deformation upon receipt of external force, including a pressure sensitive elementfor generating an output signal corresponding to deformation and a support elementfor supporting the pressure sensitive elementon at least one of the opening section and the opening and closing section, the support elementincluding at least a first deformation sectionhaving a first elastic modulus and serving to increase deformation of the pressure sensitive sensor, and a second deformation sectionhaving a second elastic modulus which is higher than the first elastic modulus.

Pressure sensitive sensor, object detecting device and opening, attachment structure thereof and opening-and-closing device

A bumper sensor unit including a cord-shaped pressure sensitive sensor is fixed around a bumper of a running device to detect a contact of an obstacle based on a signal output from the cord-shaped pressure sensitive sensor. In that case, contact detecting means comprises a filtering section for removing the oscillation frequency component of a contact detecting object from the signal output from the cord-shaped pressure sensitive sensor.

Contact detecting device and vehicle mounting the same

A contact detecting device includes a flexible piezoelectric sensor of a cable shape, a resilient member including a hollow portion having a free end to allow the hollow portion to be opened, a sensor holding portion for holding therein the piezoelectric sensor. A human body detector for a seat which does not deteriorate comfort of sitting even when it is disposed on the seat, has a high sensitivity and can be easily fitted to the seat. Vibration detection means (,) is disposed in such a manner that even when a person is seated, the means (,) comes into contact with the bottom surface of a seat pad (,) of a seat (,) and accordingly the person does not feel the means (,). According to this construction, the human body does not easily feel the means (,) by the provision of the seat pad (,), the existence of the vibration detection means (,) is hardly felt even when the hardness and the shape are changed, and various measures for improving the sensitivity of the vibration detection means (,) can be taken. The vibration detection means (,) may be merely bonded to the seat pad (,) or may be fixed to a seat spring (,) or a seat frame (,), and can be fitted more easily to the seat (,) than when it is disposed below a surface cloth (,) of the seat (,).
