Disclosed are an adhesive agent composition which has high chemical resistance and solvent resistance and is curable at around room temperature, an inkjet head which has good durability and jetting performance even in the case of using solvent ink, and a manufacturing method of the inkjet head. For these characteristics, the adhesive agent composition contains, as an activator, an imidazole derivative in which an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group is substituted at the 1-postion or at the 1- and 2-positions, and as a base, a compound having three or more epoxy groups.

Disclosed is an adhesive agent which is curable and has flexibility at low temperature, and further has resistant to solvent type ink. The adhesive agent includes a base and an activator, wherein the base includes at least any one of: bisphenol F epoxy compound; bisphenol F epoxy compound mixed with an epoxy compound having three or more epoxy groups; and bisphenol A epoxy compound mixed with an epoxy compound having three or more epoxy groups, wherein the activator includes: 100 parts by mass of polyamide composed of a condensation reaction product of C36 unsaturated fatty acid dimer and polyamine; and 5 to 200 parts by mass of alicyclic polyamine, and wherein the base is mixed with the activator with a ratio of 10 to 200 parts by mass of the activator with respect to 100 parts by mass of the base.

Adhesive agent and inkjet head and manufacturing method thereof

A method for manufacturing an inkjet head, which jets, by shear deformation of a partition wall, an ink in an ink flow path. The method includes the steps of: forming a metal electrode on a surface of the partition wall; coating an adhesive agent on the cover board; superposing the cover board onto an upper end surface of the partition wall under a condition wherein the hardness of the adhesive agent is not less than 10dyne/cm, so that the ink flow path is formed with the partition wall and the cover plate; and pressing the channel board and the cover board under the hardness condition wherein the hardness of the adhesive agent is not less than 10dyne/cmand not greater than 10dyne/cm.

Method of manufacturing an ink jet head

An ink-jet head, comprises an ink chamber in which ink is stored; a piezoelectric element to jet the ink from the ink chamber; an electrode to apply an electric voltage onto the piezoelectric element; and a layer provided on the electrode by an electrodeposition method. The layer is subjected to a process to change a surface energy.

Ink jet head and production method of the same

A method of manufacture an ink jet head in which an ink is jetted from a nozzle hole by applying an electric voltage to an electrode so as to deform ink chambers divided by a partition wall. An ink-jet recording head employed in an ink-jet recording apparatus is disclosed. A part of the channel is composed of resin material which comprises a base resin and a highly cationic resin attached on the surface of the base resin through reaction, the resulting surface being reacted with a hydrophilic organic material. A development apparatus for developing a latent image formed on an image forming body with a developer so as to obtain a toner image. A developer conveyance unit conveys the developer, including a toner, to a development zone, between the developer conveyance unit and the image forming body, from an upstream side of the development zone in a conveyance direction to a downstream side thereof. A plate member having an electrode portion is positioned at the upstream side of the development zone, wherein a downstream end portion of the plate member is positioned in contact with the development zone. A power supply unit applies a first voltage, including a DC component and an AC component, to the developer conveyance unit so that an electric field is generated at the development zone. The power supply unit applies a second voltage, including a DC component, to the electrode portion of the plate member, and the plate member controls the electric field with the second voltage. The development apparatus satisfies: V.sub.AC &gt;.vertline.V.sub.DEN .vertline.-.vertline.V.sub.DC .vertline. when an amplitude of the AC component of the first voltage is defined as V.sub.AC (volts), the DC component of the first voltage is defined as V.sub.DC (volts), and the DC component of the second voltage is defined as V.sub.DEN (volts). The development apparatus satisfies: 10.multidot..vertline.Qt.vertline..multidot.d.sub.t .multidot.D.sub.1 &gt;V.sub.AC &gt;5.multidot..vertline.Qt.vertline..multidot.d.sub.t .multidot.D.sub.2 when a closest distance from the developer conveyance unit to the image forming body is defined as D.sub.1 (mm), a closest distance from the developer conveyance unit to the electrode portion is defined as D.sub.2 (mm), an average charge-to-mass of the toner is defined as Qt (.mu.C/g), and an average particle size of the toner is defined as dt (.mu.m).

A developing apparatus for developing an electrostatic latent image on an image retainer with two-component developer has a rotatable sleeve having a closest position on which the sleeve comes closest to the image retainer, a first magnet fixed in the sleeve in close proximity to the closest position, a second magnet disposed upstream of the first magnet in relation to a rotation direction of the sleeve and a control electrode member. A non-contact type of developing device for use in an image forming apparatus having an image forming body, includes a developer conveying body facing the image forming body in which a magnet body having a plurality of magnet poles are attached therein, to convey two-component developer in the form of a developer layer onto a developing area and a control electrode provided at the developing area or upstream of the developing area. The control electrode has an electrically insulating member which is in contact with or close to the developing layer, and an electrode to which a voltage is applicable is attached to the insulating member. The following condition is satisfied: ##EQU1## where D.sub.T represents a number of toner layers on the assumption that the toner particles passing through the developing area are filled most densely, D.sub.WS represents a conveying amount (mg/cm.sup.2) of the developer layer at the developing area on the developer conveying body, T.sub.c represents a toner concentration (%) in the developer, dt represents an average sphere equivalent diameter (.mu.m) of toner in the developer, .rho.t represents a toner density (g/cm.sup.3) in the developer, vs represents a circumferential speed (mm/s) of the developer conveying body at the developing area, and vp represents a circumferential speed (mm/s) of the image forming body at the developing area.

Developing device

A developing apparatus includes a control electrode assembly provided in an upstream portion of a developing area of a developing sleeve that is opposed to an image retainer. The control electrode assembly is provided with an insulating member so that it can be located close to the developing sleeve or it can be contacted with the developing sleeve. An end portion of the control electrode is protruded onto a downstream side with respect to an end portion of the insulating member so that a toner cloud can be generated immediately before the developing area.

Developing apparatus

An image forming apparatus uses a contact-type charger to charge a photoreceptor. The D.C. current supplied to the charger is measured while the output value of the A.C. voltage is changed within a predetermined range, and the output value of the A.C. voltage is set in accordance with the measurement result.

An image forming apparatus such as an electrophotographic copier and an electrophotographic printer. The image forming apparatus includes: a photoreceptor for forming a toner image on its surface; a charger for charging the surface with a bias voltage, including a DC component and a AC component, through a magnetic brush member which is in contact with the surface; a driving unit for moving both of the surface of the photoreceptor and the magnetic brush member in synchronism; a laser unit for imagewisely exposing a predetermined image area of the surface, which is charged by the charger, so that a latent image is formed on the surface; and a discharge lamp for exposing the surface with light so that the surface is discharged. In such the image forming apparatus, the discharge lamp starts exposing the surface with the light and the bias voltage, with which the surface is charged, is set at substantially 0 volt before the driving starts moving the surface and the magnetic brush member; and the predetermined image area of the surface is charged with the bias voltage, including the DC component and the AC component, after the driving starts moving the surface and the magnetic brush member.

A device for charging a photoreceptor on which a toner image is formed, comprises a rotatable sleeve, at least two magnets disposed in the sleeve so as to attract magnetic particles in a form of magnetic brush, and a electric power source to provide the photoreceptor with an electric charge through the magnetic brush. One of the magnets is disposed upstream of the closest point between the photoreceptor and the sleeve, and the other magnet is disposed downstream of the closest point.

A toner image forming method is disclosed. In the method a photoreceptor having a shorter circumferene than length of a toner image to be transferred is used. The photoreceptor is exposed with an exposing light according to an image information to form a latent image and is processed with a step of removing residual toner particles on a non-image portion on the photoreceptor and developing a latent image on the photoreceptor with toner particles at a same time or successively to form the toner image. The toner particles have a specral characteristics which allows tho exposing light to pass through the toner particles. The method allows to provide a compact copying apparatus.

Image forming method

An image forming machine has a charging roller on which magnetic particles are supplied to form a magnetic brush and an image forming body which is charged under the condition that the magnetic brush on the charging roller is in an alternating electric field. When the distance between a regulating member that regulates an amount of the magnetic particles passing through and the charging roller is defined to be DB and the distance between the image forming body and the charging roller is defined to be DI, an inequality of 0.7 DB.ltoreq.DI.ltoreq.1.0 DB is satisfied. More preferably, DB is in the relation of 0.2.ltoreq.DB.ltoreq.1.0 in mm.
