An oil separator is provided, which can accurately control an interval between an introduction hole of a gaseous body and a separation member, and can ensure a stable and high separation performance. An oil separatorincludes a wall portionhaving a plurality of orifices, and a holding portionholding a separation member. A facing surfaceA of the separation memberis disposed along a front face portionA of a positioning portionhaving a plurality of opening portionsD, so that an interval L between the orificesand the facing surfaceA of the separation memberaccurately has a desired distance. A gas separated from an oil smoothly flows downward along a flow path formed by the opening portionsD so as to reduce a pressure loss.

Oil separator

A fluid conduit allowing a fluid to flow therethrough is provided, which can increase airtightness by a partition wall without reducing the accuracy of a size or a shape of an orifice provided in the partition wall. A partition wallof a fluid conduitis formed by joining an upper-side partition wall portionand a lower-side partition wall portionby welding. The lower-side partition wall portionincludes a joint-side portionand an orifice-side portion (a wall portion), and while providing a joint portionto the upper-side partition wall portionin the joint-side portion, the orificeis provided in the orifice-side portion, so that the joint portionand the orificeare disposed in a position shifted from each other when viewed from a joint direction.

Blow-by gas conduit

A curved portion at an inner circumferential face on a bend direction inside of a bend has a circular arc shape. By configuring the curved portion with a circular arc shape, a recess, serving as an example of a cross-sectional area enlargement portion that enlarges the cross-sectional area of a flow path of a pipe body running along a direction of an axial line, is formed in the inner circumferential face on the bend direction inside of the bend.

A curved tube structure, including: a tube main body including a bent portion at one portion in an axis line direction; and an enlarged cross-section portion formed along the axis line direction of the tube main body in an inner periphery inside a bending direction of the bent portion for enlarging a cross-section area of the tube main body.

A blow-by heater includes a metal pipe for flowing a blow-by gas therethrough. The metal pipe includes a flat portion on one side along an axis direction and a curved portion on a side opposite to the flat portion and is formed of a metal plate with a joining portion abutting against each other at edges of the metal plate at the curved portion. The blow-by gas heater further includes a resin molded over the metal pipe, and a heating source provided inside resin and directly contacting the flat portion.

A plug for a connector includes an insertion portion, and the insertion portion includes an O-ring abutment portion and a creep prevention portion. Also, when the insertion portion of the plug for a connector is inserted in a mouth portion of a connector, the O-ring abutting portion abuts against an O-ring mounted inside the connector, and closes the mouth portion of the connector. Also, the creep prevention portion prevents a creep of a lock member which is in a standby position.

A push-up device for a fuel lid includes a holder adapted to be attached to a panel under the fuel lid, a cylindrical sleeve disposed in the holder and having a plurality of elongated grooves and a plurality of short grooves alternately arranged in a vertical direction at equal intervals in an inner surface thereof, a spring member disposed in the holder, a push rod disposed in the holder to protrude outwardly from the holder and engaging the spring member, and a cam disposed between the push rod and the cylindrical sleeve. When a depressing force is applied to the push rod in a fuel lid closing state, the cam located in the shoot grooves is moved to the elongated grooves, and when the depressing force is applied to the push rod, the cam located in the elongated grooves is moved to the short grooves.

Push-up device for fuel lid

A door opening and closing device has a rotational mechanism configured to switch a door between a closed position and an open position relative to a base member. The door opening and closing device includes a latch mechanism for latching the door in the closed position on the base member. The latch mechanism includes a latch device attached to the base member, a case disposed above the latch device, a slider slidably situated in the case above the latch device, and a latching member pivotally supported by the case and including a base end slidably connected with the slider and a tip configured to engage a portion of the door. When the door is moved to the closed position, the slider is moved by the door and is engaged with the latch device while the latching member is pivoted to engage the door.

Door opening and closing device

A door opening and closing device having a rotational mechanism configured to switch a door between a closed position and an open position relative to a base member. The rotational mechanism has a supporting arm integral with the door; a sector gear portion provided on the arm; a rotating gear disposed on the arm at essentially a center of the arc of the sector gear; a first rack portion on the base member and configured to engage the sector gear; and a second rack portion on the base member. The second rack is essentially parallel to the first rack portion and separated by predetermined distance therefrom, the second rack being configured to engage the rotating gear.

A multimode light generating module comprises an optical cavity and a light-receiving element. The optical cavity is constituted by a semiconductor optical amplification element, and an optical fiber having a grating. The optical fiber comprises a grating having an apodized periodic refractive index distribution, and the slope of the reflection spectrum in a longer wavelength region with respect to the peak wavelength &#x3bb;is gentler than that in the shorter wavelength region therewith. The grating satisfies the relationship of 0.5 nm&#x3e;&#x3bb;&#x2212;&#x3bb;&#x3e;0.1 nm. Here, &#x3bb;is defined by &#x3bb;-&#x3bb;, where &#x3bb;is the longer one of two wavelengths exhibiting a relative reflectivity of 0.2 with respect to the maximum reflectivity, and &#x3bb;is the shorter one of two wavelengths exhibiting a relative reflectivity of 0.2 with respect to the maximum reflectivity.

Multimode light generating module, semiconductor laser apparatus, and optical fiber amplifier

A cup holding device includes a holding main frame provided with vertical inserting holes, a holding member rotatably assembled to the holding main frame through engagements between axles and axle holes, and an urging spring for rotatably urging the holding member. The axles are disposed on the holding main frame with a space therebetween. A section of each axle has a non-circular shape. The axle holes are provided on the holding member corresponding to the respective axles. Each axle hole includes an introducing opening, and an engaging hole portion for preventing the axle from coming out by receiving the axle through the opening and rotating the holding member by a predetermined angle.

Cup holding device

An attachment is fixed to a fuel tank made of a synthetic resin, and is formed of a primary molding portion and a hydrocarbon barrier layer. The primary molding portion is formed of a first material capable being welded to the fuel tank, and includes a hollow section to be inserted into fuel tank, and a flange formed on the hollow section to be connected to an outer surface of the fuel tank. The hollow section has a plurality of holes for allowing a molten resin material to flow therethrough when formed. The hydrocarbon barrier layer has a property of preventing permeation of hydrocarbon. The hydrocarbon barrier layer is formed on at least a part of an inner periphery of the cylinder section. A connection section is formed at the hollow section to have another member thereon.

Attachment to be attached to fuel tank

The present invention relates to a ferrule assembly capable of yielding a laser resonator which is less likely to be influenced by variations in manufacture and changes in its environment of use, and an optical module equipped with this ferrule assembly. The ferrule assembly comprises a fiber grating and a ferrule attached to a front end portion of the fiber grating. As one of structural features of the ferrule assembly, the portion of the fiber grating excluding a grating region is secured to a securing portion of the ferrule, whereas the grating region is accommodated in an accommodating portion of the ferrule in a state separated from the inner wall of the accommodating portion by a predetermined distance without being secured to the ferrule.

Ferrule assembly and optical module having the same

A tacking device for tacking a first member to a second member comprises a tacking member having a fusible plate and a pin having a bulged tip and projecting from the lower surface of the fusible plate; and a retaining member having a substantially cylindrical body provided with a plurality of catches on its outer circumference. The tacking member is rotated at a high rotating speed or vibrated with the fusible plate pressed against the first member so that the upper surface of the fusible plate is fused by frictional heat to weld the tacking member to the first member, the pin is inserted in the central hollow of the retaining member so that the expanded tip of the pin is caught by the retaining member to combine the tacking member and the retaining member, and the retaining member is forced into a hole formed in the second member so that the catches engage with the edge of the hole to tack the first member to the second member.

A ball joint includes a socket of synthetic resin having a through-hole that accommodates a ball, a hole into which a rod is inserted and which is formed at right-angles to the through-hole and an accommodation portion that communicates with the rod insertion hole, a ball stud, the ball of which is accommodated in the through-hole, a C-ring mounted in the socket through-hole to maintain the ball in place, a cap that closes the open end of the socket and has a holder portion that locates in the accommodation portion of the socket and which holds the end of the inserted rod.
