A method of manufacturing a member for fastening by joining a nut with a tubular joint portion extending from a main body formed with an internal thread to a panel with a mounting hole for the nut on an aluminum base material. The joint portion has a rotation-preventing portion with a concave and convex shaped outer peripheral surface and a guide portion extending from the rotation-preventing portion to one side. After the guide portion is inserted into the mounting hole, the nut is energized by electrodes in contact with both nut end surface sides. The nut then generates heat, and the periphery of the mounting hole is heated and softened. When the nut is pressurized with the electrodes, the rotation-preventing portion bites into the mounting hole, and the one end portion of the guide portion is swaged to become a retaining portion on one surface side of the panel.

Member for fastening and method of manufacturing same

A door service hole cover includes a cover component that is configured to cover a service hole, and a shock absorption component that is integral to the cover component. The shock absorption component includes a cabin inner component, at least a portion of which projects from the cover component toward the inside of the cabin and which is hollow and open toward the outside of the cabin; and a fragile portion formed on a side surface of the cabin inner component and configured to allow the cabin inner component to crush and deform upon application of a force acting in the direction of projection of the cabin inner component. Upon application of a force acting in the direction of projection, the cabin inner component crushes inwardly and deforms while being twisted.

Door service hole cover

A sliding member has a sliding surface sliding under a wet condition in which a lubricant oil exists. The sliding surface is coated with a laminate film comprising an upper layer and a lower layer. The lower layer comprises hydrogen-free amorphous carbon (hydrogen-free DLC) and carbon particles dispersed on or in the hydrogen-free DLC. The hydrogen-free DLC has a hydrogen content of 5 atom % or less when the lower layer as a whole is 100 atom %. The upper layer comprises boron-containing amorphous carbon (B-DLC) and has protrusions on a surface side of the upper layer along the carbon particles of the lower layer. The B-DLC has a boron content of 1-40 atom % when the upper layer as a whole is 100 atom %. The protrusions have a particle diameter of 0.5-5 &#x3bc;m and exist with a density of 20 protrusions/100 &#x3bc;mor more.

Sliding member and sliding machine

A ringing suppressor circuit is connected to a differential signal transmission line that includes a high potential signal line and low potential signal line pair for transmitting high and low level differential signals, and includes a ringing suppressor and a stopper. When the differential signal changes to a high level, the ringing suppressor suppresses ringing by lowering the impedance between the signal lines by turning ON of a switching element. When a differential signal voltage drops below a voltage lowering determination voltage, the stopper stops the impedance lowering function of the ringing suppressor by turning OFF another switching element.

Ringing suppressor circuit

An electronic control unit coupled to a transmission line of a differential signal includes: a first suppression circuit suppressing a ringing effect and decreasing an impedance of the line for a first time interval when a level of the differential signal changes; a second suppression circuits suppressing a ringing effect and decreasing the impedance of the line for a second time interval when the level of the differential signal changes; and a switching unit isolating the second suppression circuit from the line when the operation power source energizes the electronic control unit, and connecting the second suppression circuit to the line when the operation power source does not energize the electronic control unit.

Electronic control unit

A sliding system includes a pair of sliding members having sliding surfaces that can relatively move while facing each other and a lubricant oil interposed between the sliding surfaces facing each other. At least one of the sliding surfaces includes a coating surface of a crystalline Cr plating film. The lubricant oil contains an oil-soluble molybdenum compound comprising a trinuclear Mo structure. In particular, considerably low friction properties can be developed by a combination of the Cr plating film, in which at least one of three types of peak area intensity ratios (Pto P) as obtained by X-ray diffraction falls within a predetermined range (P&#x2265;0.015, P&#x2265;0.02, P&#x2265;0.03), and the lubrication oil which contains the trinuclear Mo structure.

Sliding system

A relay device for data between communication cables having a signal line in full duplex communication, includes: communication units connected to the communication cables; and a main controller executing a relay process of the data. Each communication unit includes: an input/output unit of an analog signal; an analog/digital converter converting the analog signal into a digital signal; a generator generating another digital signal based on another analog signal input to another communication unit; and an echo canceller calculating a filter coefficient based on the other digital signal and the digital signal, and executing a cancellation process of removing a component derived from the other digital signal from the digital signal according to the filter coefficient. The communication unit or the main control unit includes a sign determination unit determining based on a time change of the filter coefficient whether a sign of disconnection exists in the signal line.

Relay device for relaying data between communication cables

A ringing suppression circuit connected to a transmission line to suppress ringing caused by the transmission line transmitting a differential signal using a pair of signal lines, the differential signal varying between a high level and a low level, the pair of signal lines including a high potential signal line and a low potential signal line, the ringing suppression circuit including: an inter-line switching element that is connected between the pair of signal lines; a control portion that performs a ringing suppression operation in response to detecting a level change in the differential signal, wherein the ringing suppression operation turns on the inter-line switching element to decrease an impedance between the pair of signal lines; and a suppression operation prohibiting portion that prohibits the control portion from performing the ringing suppression operation in response to detecting a signal caused by a signal on the transmission line.

Ringing suppression circuit and ringing suppression method

[Technical Problem] An object is to provide a sliding system which can achieve both the reduced friction and the enhanced wear resistance by means of a novel combination of a sliding film and a lubricant oil. [Solution to Problem] The sliding system of the present invention comprises: a pair of sliding members having sliding surfaces that can relatively move while facing each other; and a lubricant oil interposed between the sliding surfaces facing each other. At least one of the sliding surfaces comprises a coating surface of a crystalline chromium carbide film. The lubricant oil contains an oil-soluble molybdenum compound that has a chemical structure of a trinuclear of Mo. When the chromium carbide film as a whole is 100 at %, the chromium carbide film contains 40-75 at % of Cr. The chromium carbide film in contact with the lubricant oil containing a Mo-trinuclear appears to react with the Mo-trinuclear adsorbed during the sliding to generate a layered structural body (boundary film) similar to MoSon the surface, thereby developing a considerably low friction property.

A communication node is connected to a transmission line which transmits a differential signal changeable between a high level and a low level and has a high potential signal line and a low potential signal line as a pair of signal lines. The communication node includes: an inter-line potential detector that detects an intermediate potential between the pair of signal lines; a node potential detector that detects an intermediate potential of an operation power source voltage which is supplied to the communication node; and a voltage adjuster that detects a difference between the intermediate potential detected by the inter-line potential detector and the intermediate potential detected by the node potential detector, and adjusts the operation power source voltage in accordance with the difference.

A fastening structure that includes: a nut fabricated of metal that is screwed onto the threaded portion; a collar including a collar main body fabricated of metal that includes: a tubular portion through which the threaded portion penetrates, and a flange that is formed at an outer periphery portion of the tubular portion and that is disposed at the other plate thickness direction side of the resin member, the collar main body touching against the washer main body and the nut; and a base portion fabricated of resin that structures a portion of the collar and that is disposed between the flange and the resin member.

Fastening structure

A ringing suppression circuit, which is connected to a transmission line for transmitting a differential signal changeable between a high level and a low level in a binary level through a pair of a high potential side signal line and a low potential side signal line, and suppresses ringing that occurs in association with transmission of the differential signal, includes: an inter-line switching element that is connected to the pair of the high potential side signal line and the low potential side signal line; and a control unit that turns on the inter-line switching element and fixes an on state when detecting that the differential signal changes from the high level to the low level, and releases the on state after a predetermined time is measured and elapsed.

Ringing suppression circuit

A ringing suppression circuit includes: a single line switching element, which is driven by a voltage, that is connected between a pair of signal lines; a controller that detects a change in a level of the differential signal and turns on the single line switching element to lower an impedance between the pair of signal lines; a period detector that detects a length of a suppressing period indicated by a setting signal, which is an input; and a suppressing period storage that stores the length of the suppressing period which is detected by the period detector. In addition, the pair of signal lines includes a high potential signal line and a low potential signal line. Moreover, the controller turns on the single line switching element for only the suppressing period having the length, which is stored in the suppressing period storage.

A composite magnetic member configured so a nonmagnetic portion different from conventional ones is formed in part of a magnetic member and includes: a base portion including a mother material containing a ferrite phase; and a nonmagnetic portion having an austenite phase that is formed by solid solution of nitrogen (N) into a part of the mother material, the nonmagnetic portion having saturated magnetization less than that of the base portion. The nonmagnetic portion can be obtained by irradiating a high energy beam to a surface portion of stainless steel or the like while relatively moving the beam. This beam is near-ultraviolet nanosecond pulse laser having a short wavelength within a near-ultraviolet range and a pulse width of 10 ps to 100 ns. By adjusting the amount of N introduced and to form a solid solution due to the modification process, the nonmagnetization ratio of the member can be controlled.

Composite magnetic member and method of manufacturing same

A network control device includes a communicator performing communications via a transmission line at a preset transmission speed in a wake-up mode, a low frequency attenuator attenuating a low frequency component in a transmission signal having a low transmission speed that is lower than the preset transmission speed at a position between the transmission line and the communicator to receive and transmit the transmission signal to and from the communicator, and a wake-up controller receiving and transmitting a wake-up signal for transitioning from a sleep mode to the wake-up mode, at a transmission line side position of the low frequency attenuator, where the wake-up signal at a low frequency band is subject to attenuation by the low frequency attenuator, for a selective wake-up of a network node via the transmission line for network communications.
