A gear unit has a washer which is provided at a position where the washer is able to come into contact with a retainer of roller bearings provided to each of adjacent eccentric parts in a crank shaft, and which regulates a movement of the roller bearing in an axial direction. A housing recess which houses the washer is formed on at least one face of the faces of adjacent oscillating gears facing each other. The housing recess includes an axial direction regulating surface which regulates movement of the washer in the axial direction, and a radial direction regulating surface which regulates movement of the washer in the radial direction.

Gear unit

A gear transmission comprises an internal gear, an external gear, a first gear, a crankshaft, a two-stage gear and a second gear. The first gear is affixed to an end of the crankshaft, which eccentrically rotates one of the internal gear and the external gear. The two-stage gear comprises a center gear and an outer-toothed ring gear. The center gear meshes with the first gear. The outer-toothed ring gear surrounds the first gear. The second gear meshes with the outer-toothed ring gear and transmits torque from a motor to the two-stage gear. The two-stage gear is configured such that the center gear and the outer-toothed ring gear are each at least partially disposed in a common plane that crosses the rotational axis of the gear transmission.

Gear transmission

A gear transmission comprises an internal gear member, a carrier, an external gear and a first shaft. An internal gear is formed on an inner circumference of the internal gear member. The carrier is positioned coaxially with an axis of the internal gear and is rotatably supported on the internal gear member. The external gear meshes with the internal gear and is supported on the carrier in an eccentrically rotatable manner. The first shaft extends through the carrier along the axis of the internal gear, is rotatably supported on the carrier and transmits torque inputted at one end to the other end thereof.

A first reduction gear unit has a first input shaft that rotates in accordance with the rotation of an output shaft of a motor, a first external gear that revolves orbitally around an axis line of the first input shaft, and a first internal gear that has a number of teeth differing from the number of teeth of the first external gear. A second reduction gear unit comprises a crankshaft that rotates in accordance with the rotation of a first output shaft, a second external gear having a through hole formed at a center itself, a cylindrical member passing through the through hole of the second external gear, a second internal gear that has a number of teeth differing from the number of teeth of the second external gear, and a second output shaft that rotates around an axis line of the second internal gear. The first reduction gear unit is disposed between an outer circumferential surface of the second reduction gear unit and an inner surface of the cylindrical member.

An elevator apparatus has an actuating device including a sheave around which a rope engaged with an ascending and descending cage is wound and a driving section for rotating the sheave. The sheave is adapted to rotate to move the rope with its rotation. The actuating device is installed in a machine room provided on a top floor of a building in which the ascending and descending cage is disposed. The machine room faces with an elevator passage for the cage.

A height of a case body () for covering an actuating device () is so designed as to be lower than a height of an operator. The actuating device () and the case body () will not largely project from a rooftop () of the building in which an ascending and descending cage () is disposed, and cost for the case body () can be lowered.

In a hoisting device for an elevator, a driving motor is made cylindrical, and a brake system is accommodated radially inwardly of the driving motor. The driving motor and the brake system overlap in a radial direction.

A driving apparatus for an elevator includes rotary elements disposed in such a manner as to be in contact with a circumferential surface of an input shaft adapted to be rotationally driven by an electric motor device so as to rotate as the input shaft rotates, a cylindrical element disposed in such a manner as to be in contact with the rotary elements on an inner circumferential surface thereof so as to rotate as the rotary elements rotate, and a sheave provided on an outer circumferential side of the cylindrical element and configured so as to be wound therearound with ropes for lifting up and/or down a moving cage of the elevator. A brake device is disposed in a radial direction of the sheave for braking a brake disc constructed so as to extend in the radial directions and secured to the sheave.
