An overcurrent protection element includes: chip fuse; a printed circuit board configured by mounting chip fuse on a surface thereof; external connection part configured by being coupled to the printed circuit board; and insulating layer configured by being provided on the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is provided with conductive parts on a surface of an insulating substrate. External connection part is electrically connected to the conductive parts of the printed circuit board. Chip fuse is electrically connected to the conductive parts, and chip fuse is connected to external connection part via the conductive parts.

Overcurrent protection element and battery system

Voltage detection line includes conductive wire, and tab terminal that electrically connects bus bar electrically connected to output terminal of the battery and conductive wire. Support plate includes base plate on which voltage detection line is placed, and position restricting structure of tab terminal. Position restricting structure includes receiving surface part against which tab terminal abuts, and biasing part that pushes tab terminal toward receiving surface part.

Each plate unit is disposed corresponding to one battery or to an assembly of several batteries and has terminal openings, through which output terminals provided on corresponding battery are exposed, and coupling mechanism that couples adjacent plate units to each other. Coupling mechanism is made up of male part disposed on one of two adjacent plate units, and female part that is disposed on the other and to which male part is fitted. Male part and female part are fitted to each other across a gap that allows a predetermined amount of displacement of two coupled plate units in stacking direction of batteries.

Bus bar plate

A method for producing busbar includes a step of applying pressure to pressure-weld a plurality of electric wires in a plurality of first regions in a bundle of the plurality of electric wires, the first regions being arranged at a predetermined interval in the extending direction of the bundle, to form a plurality of terminal joints that are joined to the output terminals of the respective batteries.

Provided is a voltage detection line including conductive wire and insulating film covering conductive wire, and detecting voltage of a battery in order to suppress reconduction of a disconnected voltage detection line. Conductive wire includes low-resistance part having a predetermined electrical resistance value, and high-resistance part having a higher electrical resistance value than an electrical resistance value of low-resistance part and fusing when an overcurrent flows through conductive wire. Insulating film includes high-strength part that covers low-resistance part and has a predetermined strength, and low-strength part that covers high-resistance part and has a strength lower than a strength of high-strength part.
