A connector structure (CS) includes an adapter () to be fitted to an opposing connector () that includes opposing terminals () in parallel with each other and a connector () to be fitted to the adapter () in a fitting direction (X). The connector includes a connector housing (), a center terminal (), and an outer terminal (). The center terminal () includes a center terminal portion () with a central axis (C) extending in the fitting direction. The outer terminal () includes a cylindrical outer terminal portion () that concentrically encloses the center terminal portion (). The adapter () includes an adapter housing (), a first intermediate contact (), and a second intermediate contact (). The adapter housing () and the connector housing () are rotatable relative to each other about the central axis (C). The first intermediate contact () includes a first contact piece portion () to come into contact with an outer peripheral surface () of a protruding portion () of the center terminal portion () and a second contact piece portion to come into contact with one of the opposing terminals. The second intermediate contact () includes a third contact piece portion () to come into contact with an outer peripheral surface () of the outer terminal portion () and a fourth contact piece portion () to come into contact with one of the opposing terminals.

Connector structure

A connector includes: a connector body including a lever arm having a first lock portion locked to a to-be-locked member of a mating connector when the connector body is fitted to the mating connector; and a second lock portion provided on the connector body so as to be slidable in a width direction orthogonal to a fitting direction to the mating connector. When the connector body is fitted to the mating connector, the second lock portion is released from a locked state to the connector body, by the mating connector, is slid in the width direction to a position where the second lock portion interferes with the lever arm, and restricts a release operation of the first lock portion from the to-be-locked member.

An electrical connection structure comprises a base member, a connector, and a mating connector. The electrical connection structure comprises a half-fitting detecting mechanism including a half-fitting detecting portion in the connector and a short-circuiting member in the mating connector. The half-fitting detecting portion includes a conductive member and an inspecting member. The half-fitting detecting portion allows a half-fitting state to be detected by the short-circuiting member being in non-contact with the inspecting member when in the half-fitting state. The inspecting member short-circuits with the conductive member via the short-circuiting member by the mating engaging portion of the short-circuiting member being engaged with the engaging portion of the connector and being in contact with a contact part of the inspecting member and the short-circuiting member being in contact with the conductive member when in a normal fitting state.

In the connector, a first connector member having a first housing is fitted with a second connector member having a second housing and a supporting member having a cylindrical shape that supports the second housing. The supporting member has a support claw including a pair of claw pieces that are elastically deformable and hold each of the shaft pins. A magnetic recording medium that includes a substrate, an insulation layer applied onto a surface of the substrate, and a magnetic layer applied onto the insulation layer. The insulation layer is made from a redox-corrosion-inhibiting material. A magnetic medium for perpendicular magnetic data recording having improved corrosion characteristics and reduced surface roughness. The magnetic medium includes an under-layer and a perpendicular magnetic recording layer formed over the under-layer. The under-layer can be formed of MgO and has an oxygen concentration that is greater at the perpendicular magnetic recording layer than it is away from the perpendicular magnetic recording layer.
