Disclosed herein are devices, methods, and methods of making devices for facilitating condition monitoring of machinery allowing improve efficiencies and increased lifetime of the machinery while also reducing maintenance. In one embodiment, a device includes an enclosure assembly and a printed circuit board (PCB) assembly. The enclosure assembly includes a cap, a base mechanically coupled with the cap, and a support bracket mechanically coupled with the base. The PCB assembly includes a processor, a memory coupled with the processor, a first sensor electrically coupled with the processor, a second sensor electrically coupled with the processor, and a communication interface electrically coupled with the processor. The device, when installed, may generally form a shape of a tapered cylinder having a maximum height of 2.1 inches and a maximum diameter of 1.2 inches.

Sensor device and methods of making and using the same

The present invention provides a shake-type culture apparatus which can perform large scale culture without using stirring blades and a culture method using the same. More particularly, there are provided a shake-type culture apparatus comprising: a culture bag made from a soft packaging material; an outer shell container being arranged to house the entirety of the culture bag to be able to perform adjustment of a temperature thereof; and a power source for shaking the outer shell container housing the culture bag, wherein the contents in the culture bag can be stirred and mixed by shaking the outer shell container housing the culture bag; and a culture method using the same.

A single-use cell culturing apparatus and a culturing bag are provided, each of which can improve efficiency of stirring a culture solution and further reduce a possibility of leakage of the culture solution. The single-use cell culturing apparatus of the present invention includes a housing that accommodates the culturing bag which is flexible and can seal the culture solution inside thereof. The housing has, on an inner surface thereof, a curved convex-shaped protrusion provided at a portion of a contact face at which the housing is in contact with the culturing bag. The culturing bag of the present invention is accommodated in the housing of the single-use cell culturing apparatus; is flexible; and can seal the culture solution inside thereof. The culturing bag includes a concave portion having a shape corresponding to the curved convex protrusion disposed on a part of the housing.

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel compound capable of imparting a highly appealing floral and verdant scent, and a flavor composition and/or fragrance composition containing the same. The present invention relates to a fragrance composition that has a vanilla odor property, that is chemically stable and that can be blended in a variety of products, which can be an alternative material for vanillin or ethyl vanillin. The fragrance composition of the present invention comprises: A) one or more selected from the group consisting of vanillyl alcohol, ethylvanillyl alcohol, isovanillyl alcohol and veratryl alcohol; and B) one or more selected from the group consisting of 2-ethoxy-4-methylphenol, 2-methoxy-4-methylphenol, 2-ethoxy-5-methylphenol, 2-ethoxy-4-ethylphenol, 2-ethoxy-5-ethylphenol, 2-methoxy-p-cresol methyl carbonate and 2-ethoxy-5-(1-propenyl)-phenol, wherein the total content of component A and component B in the fragrance composition is 0.01-90% by mass, and the mixing ratio of component A and component B (on a mass basis) is in a range of 99:1-70:30.

A fragrance composition contains (3S)-(6E)-2,3-dihydrofarnesal. A chemical purity of the (3S)-(6E)-2,3-dihydrofarnesal is 90 mass % or more and an optical purity of the (3S)-(6E)-2,3-dihydrofarnesal is 50% e.e. or more. A fragrance or cosmetic contains the fragrance composition. An odor is improved by using the fragrance composition containing (3S)-(6E)-2,3-dihydrofarnesal having a chemical purity of 90 mass % or more and an optical purity of 50% e.e. or more.
