Cord fastener

A buckle is formed of a female buckle in a hollow shape, and a male buckle including an insertion section to be inserted into the female buckle. The insertion section includes a middle leg, and elastic legs with engaging projections disposed at both sides of the middle leg. The female buckle includes engaging windows engaging the engaging projections of the elastic legs. The elastic legs are elastically deformed inwardly upon insertion operation of the insertion section, and at a predetermined position, the engaging projections enter into the engaging windows elastically. Also, the female buckle includes a pair of dividing plate portions for guiding and holding the middle leg therebetween, and the dividing plate portions extend between inner walls of the female buckle which face each other.

A container for small articles is formed of a housing having a an opening at an upper face thereof, a cover movably attached to the housing, and a locking device. The cover moves between a closing position for closing the opening, and an opening position for opening the opening of the housing. The cover is located at one side of the housing in the opening position. The locking device includes a catcher having a latching portion therein and attached to the cover, and a striker attached to housing. When the cover is disposed to the closing position, the striker engages the latching portion to lock the cover at the closing position, and when the cover in the closing position is pushed, the striker engaged with the latching portion is released from the latching portion, so that the cover is moved to the opening position.

Peripheral molding for automobile window glass

A glass plate holding device is used for holding a glass plate or a window glass to an opening of, for example, an automobile when the glass plate is fixed to the opening. The holding device is formed of a base plate to be attached to the glass plate, a leg fixed to the base plate at a base end and projecting in a direction away from the base plate, and a pawl formed at a forward end of the leg. The pawl enters into a mounting hole provided in a flange for the opening and engages an edge of the mounting hole to prevent the glass plate from being lifted.

Glass plate holding device

A glass holder which facilitates attachment of a door glass to a window regulator. The glass holder is assembled to an elevating member of the window regulator. The glass holder includes a first holding plate having a through hole, a second holding plate having a through hole and arranged to face the first holding plate so as to hold the door glass in cooperation with the first holding plate, a fastening member passed through a mounting hole formed in the door glass and the through holes formed in the first and second holding plates to fasten the door glass, and a hinge for pivotally connecting the second holding plate to the first holding plate to allow the second holding plate to form a holding space for holding the door glass.

A piston-cylinder type air damper includes a cylinder having an open end and a closed end, a piston having a head slidable along and in contact with the inner wall of the cylinder and a rod extending axially from the head and projecting outwardly from the open end of the cylinder, and a cap fitted upon the open end of the cylinder and permitting the rod to centrally penetrate therethrough. The cap is molded from a soft material into a C-shaped cylinder having a slit and two outwardly projecting claws formed upon the outer periphery thereof within the vicinity of the opposite ends thereof which define the slit therebetween. The cylinder has a hole formed within a side wall portion thereof at the open end thereof for engaging the two claws of the cap therein.

Electrostatically charged liquid fuel is introduced into a venturi to be atomized therein and is then applied to the combustion chamber of an engine under the control of electrostatic force for properly controlling the air-fuel mixture ratio.

Air-fuel mixture ratio control using electrostatic force

Mass flow measuring apparatus includes ionizing electrodes and an ion collecting electrode located downstream of the ionizing electrodes where the ionizing electrodes are biased with a high DC voltage produced in response to ignition pulses of an internal combustion engine. The high voltage is derived from a tap of the secondary winding of the ignition coil of the ignition circuit. The ions are allowed to migrate at the same speed with the mass fluid flow an are collected by the collecting electrode. The transit time of the ions over the distance between the ionizing electrodes and the collecting electrode is measured. The period of the high DC voltage applied across the ionizing electrodes may be controlled in accordance with the magnitude of the load of the engine and/or the transit time of the ions.

Mass flow measuring apparatus

Disclosed is an electrostatic apparatus for controlling the volume of liquid flow through a passage, without the use of mechanically moving parts comprising a pair of electrodes fixedly disposed in a liquid passage with a short distance therebetween in the direction of liquid flow therethrough, and an electric circuit to produce an electric field between the electrodes. The circuit includes a controller to vary the strength of the electric field and/or reverse the polarity. A flow-constricting orifice may be interposed between the electrodes. The liquid in the electric field tends to migrate toward one of the electrodes, so that the volume rate of the liquid flow in the passage can minutely be varied with good responsiveness to an external control signal.

Electrostatic apparatus for controlling flow rate of liquid

Mass flow measuring apparatus includes an ionizing electrode and an ion collecting electrode located downstream from the ionizing electrode. The ions are allowed to migrate at the same speed with the mass fluid flow and are collected by the collecting electrode. The transit time of the ions over the distance between a predetermined point of the path of fluid and the collecting electrode is measured.
