A pressure sensor layout structure includes: a bumper beam; an absorber disposed at a front of the bumper beam; a pressure tube arranged between the bumper beam and the absorber; a pressure sensor attached to an end of the pressure tube; and a sensor cover fixed to a rear surface of the absorber, wherein the sensor cover is fixed to an end portion in a vehicle width direction of the absorber, at two or more positions which are located variously in the vehicle width direction.

Pressure sensor layout structure

An impact-absorbing device that absorbs impact force when a collision has occurred with an object having relatively low rigidity. The impact-absorbing device is provided with a guide piece that extends in a horizontal direction substantially horizontal to the input direction of the impact, and a movable piece that is movably supported along the guide piece. The guide piece and movable piece deform to absorb impact force when the impact force has acted on the guide piece.

The body frame of has a frame member provided in one of a front portion and a rear portion of the vehicle; and a load imposing device, provided at an end of the frame member, for imposing a load on the frame member toward at least two opposite directions which are substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the frame member, when impact on the frame member is anticipated or imposed. The load imposing device may have a member made of a shape memory alloy.
