There is provided a vehicle roof structure including: a pair of supporting piece sections that are provided at a roof section of a vehicle body, the pair of supporting piece sections being disposed at an interval in a vehicle front-rear direction or a vehicle width direction; a base member to which a communication device is attached, the base member being attached to the supporting piece sections from a vehicle upper side, in a state in which a portion of the base member is disposed between the supporting piece sections; and a resin roof panel that is attached to the base member from the vehicle upper side, the resin roof panel covering the communication device from the vehicle upper side.

Vehicle roof structure

A vehicle skeleton structure includes: a support surface portion that configures a part of a vehicle body, the support surface portion being disposed further toward a vehicle lower side than a design surface of a roof portion of the vehicle body, and the support surface portion being configured to support a communication device from a vehicle lower side of the communication device; and a roof reinforcement that is disposed at a vehicle lower side of the support surface portion, the roof reinforcement configuring at least a part of a closed cross-sectional structure extending in a vehicle width direction and having a closed cross-sectional shape as viewed from the vehicle width direction.

A vehicle skeleton structure including: a roof reinforcement that configures a part of a roof section of a vehicle body, the roof reinforcement extending in a vehicle width direction, the roof reinforcement having a closed cross-sectional shape when viewed from the vehicle width direction, the roof reinforcement being configured such that a communication device capable of at least one of sending or receiving of radio waves can be disposed at an inner side thereof, and a penetrating section being formed at a portion at a vehicle upper side of the roof reinforcement; and a lid member that closes off the penetrating section, the lid member being configured by a material capable of transmitting radio waves.

There is provided a component joining structure that includes: a resin component; a metal tip that is provided in the resin component by insert molding, and that includes protruding portions that protrude from the resin component; and a metal component that is spot welded to the protruding portions, and that is joined to the resin component by an adhesive agent that is provided in gaps formed, by the protruding portions, between the resin component and the metal component.

Component joining structure

A structure for reinforcing a framework member in a vehicle includes: a resin framework member that constitutes a part of a framework of a vehicle and is formed so as to have a closed cross-section; and a fiber-reinforced-resin reinforcing member. The reinforcing member has a first reinforcing part that is disposed so as to form a substantially U-shaped cross-section including one of surfaces of the framework member extending along the longitudinal direction, and a second reinforcing part that is disposed so as to form a substantially U-shaped cross-section including the other surface of the framework member extending along the longitudinal direction. At a minimum part of the framework member at which the cross-section is smallest, a portion of the first reinforcing part and a portion of the second reinforcing part are laid one on top of the other so as to overlap each other.

Structure for reinforcing framework member in vehicle

There is provided a reinforcement for a vehicle having a main body portion that is formed in a hollow beam shape, and extends in a vehicle width direction while having both end portions thereof in the vehicle width direction supported by structural components of a vehicle, and whose cross-sectional surface area in a vehicle front-rear direction becomes progressively larger from the end portions in the vehicle width direction towards a central portion thereof.

Reinforcement for a vehicle

A vehicular panel structure includes a panel, a reinforcement disposed inward of the panel in a vehicle, and mastic that bonds the panel and the reinforcement to each other. The reinforcement is provided with a body portion constituting a middle portion in a longitudinal direction and having a linear expansion coefficient smaller than the linear expansion coefficient of the panel, a connection portion constituting an end portion in the longitudinal direction, and a joining portion allowing the body portion and the connection portion to be joined to each other by a thermosetting adhesive and a fastener. A long hole portion is disposed in the reinforcement and is formed in either the connection portion or the body portion. The fastener is inserted into the long hole portion.

Vehicular panel structure

A vehicle frame structure includes: an adhesive member that is superimposed on and adhered to a plate shaped vehicle frame member extending in one direction such that the adhesive member is superimposed in a thickness direction of the vehicle frame member; a first fiber reinforced plastic member that includes plural first fibers oriented in different directions to each other, and that is disposed spaced apart from the vehicle frame member in the thickness direction; and a second fiber reinforced plastic member that includes plural second fibers oriented in an orientation direction of an intersecting direction intersecting the thickness direction, that has a thinner thickness in the thickness direction than a thickness of the first fiber reinforced plastic member, and that is sandwiched between the adhesive member and the first fiber reinforced plastic member in the thickness direction.

Vehicle frame structure

There is provided a vehicle body upper section structure including: a pair of roof side rails that are spaced apart in a vehicle width direction and that extend along a vehicle front-rear direction; a roof reinforcement that extends along the vehicle width direction between the pair of roof side rails; extensions that each join a vehicle vertical direction lower side of a respective one of the pair of roof side rails to a respective vehicle width direction inward side of the roof reinforcement; and a beaded section that is provided at each extension, the beaded section projecting toward a lower side in the vehicle vertical direction and extending in the vehicle width direction such that a projection depth of the beaded section toward the lower side becomes deeper on progression from an inner side toward an outer side in the vehicle width direction.

Vehicle body upper section structure

A joining structure of vehicle framework members includes: a first vehicle framework member formed by a lightweight metal material having a rectangular closed cross section shape in a sectional view orthogonal to an extension direction of the first vehicle framework member; a second vehicle framework member formed by a lightweight metal material having a hat shape in the sectional view orthogonal to the extension direction, the second vehicle framework member covering the first vehicle framework member; an offset flange portion that is a portion of a flange portion formed at an end portion at the opening side of the second vehicle framework member, and that protrudes to an opposite side of the flange portion from the opening side; and a protrusion portion that protrudes from an end portion of the offset flange portion at the opening side, and that is joined to the first vehicle framework member by heat-welding.

Joining structure of vehicle framework members

A frame structure of a vehicle has: a frame member that is formed in a closed cross-sectional shape having plural first wall portions and plural first corner portions, and that configures a frame of a vehicle; and a reinforcing member that is made of a fiber reinforced resin, and that is formed in a closed cross-sectional shape having plural second wall portions and plural second corner portions, and that is disposed within the closed cross-sectional shape of the frame member such that the plural second corner portions contact the plural first wall portions or the plural first corner portions respectively, the plural second wall portions facing the plural first wall portions or the plural first corner portions respectively, forming plural closed cross-sectional shapes.

An occurrence of thermal distortion when heterogenous materials are joined together is suppressed. Provided is a joining structure that includes a first member, a second member, a rivet and a resin-filled portion. The first member is formed of a first material. The second member is formed of a second material that is different from the first material. The rivet penetrates through at least the first member and joins the first member and second member together. The resin-filled portion is provided around the rivet at a side of the first member at which the second member is disposed. The resin-filled portion is formed by at least one of the first member and the second member and forms a gap between the first member and the second member. A resin member is disposed inside the resin-filled portion.

Joining structure

A vehicle framework reinforcement structure includes: a joining member in a tubular shape with a bottom that is mounted to a vehicle main body, including a floor wall that includes plural slit portions; a vehicle framework member that is inserted into the joining member, an outer wall face of the vehicle framework member being welded to an opening end portion of the joining member, and the vehicle framework member being configured such that portions of an end face thereof are exposed through the slit portions; plural projection portions formed along the plural slit portions, the projection portions contacting an inner wall face of the vehicle framework member; and plural weld portions, the portions of the end face of the vehicle framework member that are exposed through the slit portions being welded to the joining member at the weld portions, and the weld portions including welding of the projection portions.

Vehicle framework reinforcement structure

The present invention provides a joint structure having: a first panel comprising a first material; a second panel comprising a metal material different from the first material; a rivet having a head portion that is placed in contact with the first panel, a shaft portion that is passed through the first panel, and a joint portion that is disposed on the shaft portion side and is in contact with and joined by welding to the second panel; and a sandwiching portion that is disposed at the rivet and sandwiches between itself and the head portion the first panel from the second panel side.

Joint structure and joint structure manufacturing method

A framework structure for a vehicle includes a first frame member that configures part of a framework of the vehicle, a second frame member that is joined to the first frame member to thereby configure the framework having a closed cross-sectional structure, a first reinforcement member made of fiber-reinforced resin that has an engagement portion and is joined to an inner side of the first frame member, and a second reinforcement member made of fiber-reinforced resin that has an engaging portion, and is joined to an inner side of the second frame member. The engaging portion is engaged with the engagement portion, and the second reinforcement member configures, with the first reinforcement member, a reinforcement member having a closed cross-sectional structure.
