A drive device includes a rotating electric machine, a substrate, a first drive element, a second drive element, a first extension line, and a second extension line. The rotating electric machine including a stator with a first winding group and a second winding group wound on the stator in at least three phases. The first extension line and the first drive element, as well as the second extension line and the second drive element have respectively reversed phase orders in an arrangement of the phase orders from an end close to a reference position toward an other end of the arrangement. In such manner, variation of wiring lengths from an electric power supply region among different phases is reduced.

Drive device and electric power steering device including the drive device

A drive device that includes a motor having a rotor disposed relative to a stator, a cover having a one-end-closed cylinder shape and positioned on one axial end side of the motor, and a substrate on the inside of the cover perpendicular to a motor shaft having electronic components implemented on the substrate. The drive device also includes a connector positioned on a motor side of the substrate with an opening that is connectable to an external terminal. The opening of the connector faces outward relative to the motor shaft. The drive device further includes a heat sink having a frame end part and a heat receiving part formed in one body. The drive device increases heat capacity of the heat sink without increasing its height.

A driver unit has a rotating electric machine and a frame member that is disposed on one axial end of the rotating electric machine. A substrate is fixed onto one surface of the frame member which faces away from the rotating electric machine. Switching elements constituting inverters for switching power supply to winding groups are mounted on a first surface for enabling heat dissipation toward the frame member. An Integrated Circuit (IC) is mounted on the first surface for enabling heat dissipation toward the frame member. An electronic component is mounted on a second surface at an overlapping position that at least partially overlaps a mounting position of the IC.

Driver unit and electric power steering device including the driver unit

In an electronic device, a heat generation part pattern is connected to a heat generating element to heat from the heat generating element. A temperature detecting element is disposed adjacent to a first surface of a substrate. A direct under layer pattern is disposed on a second surface of the substrate opposite to the temperature detecting element in an area including a portion corresponding to the temperature detecting element. An interlayer connection pillar connects between the heat generation part pattern and the direct under layer pattern to conduct heat. The heat generated from the heat generating element is effectively conducted to the temperature detecting element through the heat generation part pattern, the interlayer connection pillar, and the direct under layer pattern, and thus the temperature detecting element accurately detects the temperature of the heat generating element.

An ECU attached to a motor assembly has a substrate and a heat sink. The substrate mounts thereon a microcomputer, which controls driving of a motor in accordance with a rotation angle of the motor. The substrate is fixed to the heat sink. The substrate has a first through hole group and a second through hole group, which are through holes connectable electrically by soldering to rotation angle signal wires connected to a rotation angle sensor, which detects a rotation angle of the motor.

In an ECU attached to a motor assembly, inverter FETs, which generate outputs for driving a motor, are electrically connected to a substrate. A plurality of screw holes is formed in a heat sink thereby to fix the substrate. A resin member is provided between the heat sink and the substrate and has a plurality of motor terminals and a resin mold, which integrally fix the motor terminals by molding the motor terminals. The motor terminal has an embedded part, a L-shaped substrate-side exposed part and a motor-side exposed side including a curbed part. The resin member and the substrate are tightened together and fixed to the heat sink.

A motor has a motor body and a control unit, which is joined to the motor body. A resolver is connected to the control unit through a flat cable. The flat cable is arranged such that the width direction of the flat cable corresponds with a circumferential direction of the motor body. The flat cable extends outwardly in a radial direction of the motor case.

In a motor drive apparatus for driving a three-phase AC motor, a first mounting part of a heat sink is formed along an end. A second mounting part is formed in a direction perpendicular to the first mounting part and includes a first column part and a second column part. Three motor relay FETs are mounted on the first mounting part. Six inverter FETs and two power relay FETs are mounted on the second mounting part. Leads of the FETs are electrically connected to an electric circuit substrate. Heat generated by the FETs is radiated to the heat sink through an insulating and heat radiating sheet. By thus arranging the FETs, the motor drive apparatus is reduced in size.

Motor drive apparatus

A motor body has feeder terminals. Connecting ends of the corresponding feeder terminals are exposed radially outward from a motor case. The motor body has an end frame having an attachment portion. In this configuration, a control unit is fixed to the attachment portion and connecting terminals of the control unit are arranged to be allowed to contact the corresponding connecting ends. By fastening the fastening screws at positions radially outward of the motor case, the connecting terminals of the control unit are connected to the connecting ends of the motor body.

A connector fixation structure includes: a connector having a rectangular connector body, protrusions protruding from facing sides in a wing like manner, and a terminal embedded in and protruding from the connector body; a heat sink having a plate shape body, a through hole and columnar convexities; and a printed board. The bottom of the connector is inserted into the through hole of the heat sink. Each columnar convexity is disposed on the plate shape body at a predetermined position corresponding to the protrusion. The top of the connector contacts a first surface of the printed board, and each columnar convexity is fixed to the printed board via the corresponding protrusion with a first screw.

Fixation structure for connector of in-vehicle controller

A bus-bar integrated plate and outer frame section, arranged into a double-deck structure and having numerous bus bars molded with a resin molding plate portion, is provided as a wiring for connecting power switching elements and a smoothing capacitor, fixed on an outer surface of a cylindrical wall of a motor housing, to a printed circuit board serving as a control circuit.

Inverter-integrated motor for an automotive vehicle

A switching device for controlling a large amount of current includes a circuit board carrying electronic components thereon, a power-switching element electrically connected to the circuit board, and a housing disposed underneath the circuit board and containing the power-switching element therein. The housing made of a heat-conductive material includes a heat-sink block having a sloped surface on which the power-switching element is mounted. Connecting leads extending from the power-switching element are positioned at an upper portion of the sloped surface which is close to the circuit board. In this manner, the length of connecting leads is shortened and heat and noises generated therein are suppressed.

Switching device for controlling large amount of current

In an electrical compressor having a motor and an electrical circuit integrated with a compression portion, a part of electrical components of the electrical circuit is disposed in spaces between a cylindrical outer surface of a motor housing and an imaginary flat surface that imaginarily contacts the cylindrical outer surface. Therefore, the spaces can be used effectively, and the electrical compressor can be downsized. Further, the part of the electrical components can be effectively cooled by refrigerant in the motor housing. On the other hand, the outer surface of the motor housing is used as one surface defining an inner space of a casing for accommodating the electrical circuit. In this case, the electrical circuit can be effectively cooled by refrigerant in the motor housing.

Plural pins are arranged on a printed circuit board to form a generally square shape and are electrically connected to terminals of a QFP-IC. In the pins, a pin disposed at a corner portion of the generally square shape is used as a GND terminal, and a pin adjoining the GND terminal is used as a source terminal. A conductive region is provided to extend radially from the corner portion, and is electrically connected to the ground terminal. Further, another conductive region is provided in the generally square shape and is electrically connected to the radial conductive region.

A suspension control system for controlling a suspension having a shock absorber provided for each wheel of a vehicle includes a damping force change rate detector which detects a damping force change rate indicating a rate of change of a damping force of the shock absorber, and a damping force controller which alters the setting of the damping force on the basis of a relationship between the damping force change rate and an adjustment reference value. The system also includes a road surface condition detector which detects a condition of a road surface on which the vehicle is running on the basis of a change of the damping force of the shock absorber. Further, the system includes a damping force adjustment correcting unit which corrects the adjustment reference value by learning the adjustment reference value on the basis of a parameter related to the damping force of the shock absorber which reflects the condition of the road surface.
