Systems and methods relate to targeted display of media content, including a device that includes a memory having program instructions stored therein; and at least one processor configured to execute the program instructions to control the device to: connect via a wide area network to a remote system, receive a rule set or an artificial intelligence (AI) model from the remote system, select media content from a plurality of media content based on applying demographics data to the rule set or AI model, and cause, based on an output of the rule set or AI model, a display, that is local to the device, to display the media content.

Systems and methods relate to display of insights, including a method including: causing a user display to display a graphical user interface (GUI) that enables a user to select a time range and a single digital display as a locale; and causing, based on the user selecting the time range and the single digital display as the locale, the user display to display, on the GUI, a list of a plurality of media content that have been displayed on the single digital display, each of the plurality of media content being ordered according to analysis insight for the single digital display selected and the time range selected. Systems and methods relate to display of insights, including a system including a remote computing system configured to cause a user display to display a graphical user interface (GUI), wherein the GUI enables a user to select a time range and a locale, the GUI displays a list of a plurality of media content that have been displayed on one or more digital displays associated with the locale, each of the plurality of media content being listed according to impression counts of each of the plurality of media content for the locale selected and the time range selected, and each of the impression counts is a count of views by people of a respective media content of the plurality media content on the one or more digital displays of the locale.

A liquid crystal monitor includes a first voltage conversion circuit (e.g. a DC/DC converter), which converts an external DC voltage into a first internal DC voltage supplied to CPU circuitry, and a second voltage conversion circuit, which converts the external DC voltage into a second internal DC voltage for driving a backlight of a liquid crystal panel. The external DC voltage is set proximate to a center value between the first internal DC voltage and the second internal DC voltage. This allows the liquid crystal monitor to be equipped with a battery unit producing a single external DC voltage, thus reducing weight compared to a conventional liquid crystal monitor.

In the disclosed backlight unit, multiple LEDs are arranged as a light source at prescribed intervals on a substrate in a rectangular ring. Light irradiated from the LEDs is diffused through a lens, a prism plate and a diffusion plate, and is transmitted to a liquid crystal panel. There are roughly V-shaped concavities in the incidence surface of the lens, and triangular cross-section prisms for diffusing incident light are further arranged on the incidence surface of the prism plate. The LEDs are arranged on a highly thermally conductive LED cooling pattern, and the LED cooling pattern is in contact with a heat-dispersion housing. For that reason, heat emitted by the LEDs is conducted from the LED cooling pattern to the housing and dispersed to the ambient air. By this means, the backlight unit can save energy and be more compact.

A cooling structure for light emitting elements for a liquid crystal panel according to the present invention includes: a long-shaped substrate that is disposed so as to extend along an edge of a light guide plate provided on a rear surface of a liquid crystal panel, and in which a plurality of through-holes are formed; a plurality of light emitting elements that are disposed on a front surface of the substrate so as to face the light guide plate; and a chassis that is provided at a rear surface side of the substrate, and the through-holes are arranged at a higher density at a center portion of the substrate in a long direction than at end portions of the substrate in the long direction.
