An electric compressor includes: a circuit board on which a plurality of switching elements () are mounted; a compression mechanism which is driven by a motor operated using AC power output from the switching elements (); and a lead holding member () disposed between element main bodies () of the switching elements () and the circuit board. The circuit board includes a plurality of through-holes through which a plurality of leads () that extend from the element main bodies () can be respectively inserted. The lead holding member () includes lead insertion holes () through which the leads () can be inserted such that positions of the leads () is held at positions that correspond to positions of the through-holes.

A capacitor unit () includes: a harness side terminal () provided in a housing () for accommodating a capacitor main body therein and connectable to an electric power harness for supplying DC power from an outside; and a board side terminal () connectable to a circuit board from which the DC power is output via the capacitor main body. The board side terminal () extends in a plate shape from a base portion () held in the housing () toward a distal end portion () connected to the circuit board, and has a notch portion () recessed inward of the board side terminal () in a width direction between the base portion () and the distal end portion ().

A power conversion circuit board () is a circuit board on which a power conversion circuit configured to convert a direct current into an alternating current is mounted. A low-voltage circuit () to which a low voltage is applied and a high-voltage circuit () to which a high voltage is applied are separately disposed in different areas on the same circuit board surface. Furthermore, part of wiring of the high-voltage circuit () is formed on the circuit board surface, and the other wiring is constituted by a bus bar provided at a predetermined distance from the circuit board surface.

A capacitor unit () includes: a harness side terminal () provided on a first end portion () side of a first surface of a housing () for accommodating a capacitor main body therein; a board side terminal () provided in the housing () and connectable to a circuit board; and a plurality of guide portions () that protrude from the first surface and extend from a second end portion () on a side opposite to the first end portion () toward the first end portion (). A substrate includes a substrate body, a flux coating portion which is coated with flux promoting solder fluidity on a surface of the substrate body, a conduction portion which is disposed on the surface of the substrate body to be separated from the flux coating portion and is conductive, and a silk portion which is disposed between the flux coating portion and the conduction portion on the surface of the substrate body and is provided by silk printing.

An object is to provide a motor-driven compressor capable of reducing cost required when a failure occurs in part of components configuring an inverter device. A power substrate assemblyis removably fixed to a housing bodyin an inverter accommodation chamber, and a control substrate assemblyand a filter circuit assemblyare removably fixed to a cover. Motor-driven compressor

A capacitor unit is integrally provided with: a capacitor main body; a pair of bus bars that are connected to a pair of corresponding electrodes of the capacitor main body; and a casing that internally contains the capacitor main body and the bus bars and is made of resin. The bus bars are each provided with an input terminal on a first end side to which a connection terminal of a high-voltage cable for DC power is connected, while being each provided with an output terminal on a second end side to which an inverter substrate is connected.

Inverter-integrated electrical compressor

Included are: a motor control device that has a switching element, that converts DC power supplied from a high-voltage power supply into three-phase AC power, and that supplies the three-phase AC power to a three-phase motor; a first control portion that controls the motor control device; an isolated-type CAN driver that is activated by using power supplied from a low-voltage power supply and that exchanges information with a vehicle ECU that is mounted in the vehicle and that is superordinate to a vehicle cooling-fan motor/inverter system; and an isolation portion that electrically isolates a low-voltage system to which power is supplied from the low-voltage power supply from a high-voltage system to which power is supplied from the high-voltage power supply. If a fault in the switching element is detected, the first control portion outputs fault information notifying that there is a fault in control of the three-phase motor to the vehicle ECU via the isolated-type CAN driver.
