An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact, a movable contact piece, a movable iron core, a drive shaft, a coil, and a stopper. The movable iron core is movable in a moving direction including a contact direction in which the movable contact approaches the fixed contact and a separation direction in which the movable contact separates from the fixed contact. The movable iron core includes a shaft hole extending in the moving direction. The drive shaft is connected to the movable contact piece. The drive shaft extends through the shaft hole. The drive shaft is fixed to the movable iron core. The coil generates a magnetic force to move the movable iron core in the moving direction. The stopper is connected to the drive shaft. The stopper restricts a movement of the movable iron core with respect to the drive shaft in the moving direction.

Electromagnetic relay with driveshaft stopper

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a fixed contact, a movable contact, a movable contact piece, and a dust collecting mechanism. The fixed contact is connected to the fixed terminal. The movable contact faces the fixed contact. The movable contact piece is connected to the movable contact. The movable contact piece is movable between a closed position at which the movable contact is in contact with the fixed contact and an open position at which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. The dust collecting mechanism is disposed adjacent to the fixed contact and the movable contact. The dust collecting mechanism generates a second negative pressure greater than a first negative pressure generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact when the movable contact piece moves from the closed position to the open position.

Electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a base, a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal including a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a movable member, and a return spring. The movable contact piece includes a pair of movable contacts configured to contact the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact. The movable member is movable with the movable contact piece in a contact direction and in a separation direction. The return spring is disposed between the base and the movable member and urges the movable member in the separation direction. The base includes a guide portion to guide movement of the movable member. The movable member includes a sliding portion slidable with respect to the guide portion. The return spring is disposed inside the guide portion. The guide portion is disposed in the contact direction with respect to the first fixed contact.

Electromagnetic relay including movable member that moves integrally with movable contact piece

The electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a movable contact piece, a drive device, a contact case, at least one magnet, and at least one yoke. The fixed terminal includes a fixed contact. The movable contact piece includes a movable contact disposed to face the fixed contact. The drive device moves the movable contact piece in a direction in which the movable contact comes into contact with the fixed contact and in a direction in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. The contact case is made of resin. The contact case houses the fixed contact and the movable contact piece. The at least one magnet is disposed around the contact case for generating a magnetic field inside the contact case. The at least one yoke is fixed to the contact case.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a movable contact, a contact case, a drive device, and an elastic member. The movable contact is disposed to face the fixed contact. The movable contact piece is connected to the movable contact. The movable contact piece is configured to move in an opening direction and a closing direction. The contact case houses the fixed contact, the movable contact, and the movable contact piece. The drive device includes a coil. The coil generates an electromagnetic force that moves the movable contact piece. The elastic member is disposed between the drive device and the contact case. The elastic member seals between the drive device and the contact case.

A first yoke is arranged in a contact direction with respect to a movable contact piece. A second yoke is arranged in an opening direction with respect to the movable contact piece. The first yoke and the second yoke are configured to generate a magnetic force that attracts the first yoke and the second yoke to each other when the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and is energized. The first yoke and the second yoke are arranged not to contact each other so that the movable contact piece can contact the fixed terminal in a state where the movable contact and the fixed contact are lost.

Relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a movable contact piece, a first contact, and a second contact. The fixed terminal includes a first surface. The movable contact piece includes a second surface disposed to face the first surface. The first contact is embedded in one of the fixed terminal or the movable contact piece to be flush with one of the first surface or the second surface. The second contact is disposed on the other of the fixed terminal or the movable contact piece to face the first contact. The second contact protrudes from the other of the first surface or the second surface toward the first contact and include a contact surface smaller than the first contact when viewed from a direction facing the first contact.

The electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a fixed contact connected to the fixed terminal, a movable contact piece moving in an opening direction and a closing direction with respect to the fixed terminal, a movable contact connected to the movable contact piece and being arranged to face the fixed contact, a coil generating an electromagnetic force to move the movable contact piece, and a drive circuit controlling a current to the coil. The drive circuit increases the current at a first increase rate in a first period that includes a period from a start time when the current starts to flow in the coil to before a contact time point at which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact. The drive circuit increases the current at a second increase rate larger than the first increase rate in the second period that includes a period after the contact time point.

A relay includes a movable contact piece having a movable contact, a fixed contact, a drive device configured to move the movable contact piece, a magnet to apply a Lorentz force to an arc in a first extension direction, a fixed terminal having an intermediate portion to apply a Lorentz force to the arc in a second extension direction, and a wall portion. The wall portion includes first and second wall surfaces. The first wall surface is disposed to face an arc-extinguishing space, and is disposed opposite to the movable contact and the fixed contact in the first extension direction. The second wall surface is disposed to face the arc-extinguishing space and is disposed downstream in the second extension direction with respect to the first wall surface. A distance from the movable contact piece to the second wall surface differs from a distance to the first wall surface.

A relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece including a movable contact, a movable portion, a coil, a return spring, and a contact spring. The movable portion includes a drive shaft and a movable iron core. The drive shaft is fixed to the movable contact piece in a contact case and extends from an inside of the contact case to an outside of the contact case. The movable iron core is connected to the drive shaft outside the contact case. The return spring urges the movable portion in an open direction in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. The contact spring urges the drive shaft in a contact direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact. The contact spring is arranged outside the contact case.

An electromagnetic relay includes a pair of fixed terminals including a fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a housing portion, and a magnet portion. The movable contact piece includes a movable contact disposed facing the fixed contact. The movable contact piece is movable in a first direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and a second direction in which the movable contact separates from the fixed contact. The housing portion includes a housing space housing the fixed contact and movable contact piece. The magnet portion includes a pair of magnets disposed around the housing portion so as to face each other in a longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece and extending in the second direction beyond the housing space. The magnet portion generates a magnetic flux flowing in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction between the fixed contact and the movable contact.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece having a movable contact, a drive shaft, an electromagnetic drive device, and a positioning portion. The movable contact piece is movable in a first direction contacting the fixed contact and in a second direction separating from the fixed contact. The electromagnetic drive device includes a movable iron core integrally movably connected to the drive shaft. The electromagnetic drive device switches between a contact state in which the movable contact comes into contact with the fixed contact and a separate state in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact by moving the drive shaft with the movable iron core. The positioning portion positions the drive shaft or the movable iron core in the separate state. The drive shaft or the movable iron core includes a first inclined portion that contacts the positioning portion in the separate state.

Electromagnetic relay with modification of drive shaft or movable iron core

A power relay having terminal tabs includes an on-off contact element having at least one movable contact and at least one stationary contact, an on-off drive element, at least two pairs of input/output terminal tabs, and at least one pair of control terminal tabs. The on-off drive element makes the movable contact come into contact with or separated from the stationary contact. The two pairs of input/output terminal tabs are electrically connected to at least one pair of input/output portions of the on-off contact element. The one pair of control terminal tabs is electrically connected to control terminal portions of the on/off drive element. Each of the input/output portions is electrically connected to two of the input/output terminal tabs, which are arranged side-by-side in their thickness direction and in vicinity with each other. The input/output terminal tabs and the control terminal tabs have a same thickness and width.

A relay includes a housing, a fixed terminal, a screw receiving member, and at least one female screw member. The fixed terminal has a plate shape. The fixed terminal includes a fastening portion having at least one screw insertion hole. The fastening portion is exposed from the housing to an outside and is screwed to an external terminal. The screw receiving member overlaps with the fastening portion in a penetrating direction of the at least one screw insertion hole and is provided in proximity to the fastening portion. The at least one female screw member is provided integrally with or separately from the screw receiving member and is prevented from rotating by the screw receiving member.

An electromagnetic relay includes a pair of fixed terminals, a movable contact piece, and a magnet portion. The pair of fixed terminals includes fixed contact. The movable contact piece that includes a movable contact disposed facing the fixed contact and that is movable in a first direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and in a second direction in which the movable contact separates from fixed contact. The magnet portion generating a magnetic field for extending an arc generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact. At least one of a corner portion in the first direction side of the fixed terminal located in an arc extension direction in which the arc is extended or a corner portion in the second direction side of the movable contact piece located in the arc extension direction has a chamfered shape in a range where the arc passes through.
