Disclosed is a vehicle structure comprising a seatbelt device, in which diffusion of a hot gas produced in a pretensioner is easily minimized by a simple configuration. In the vehicle structure comprising a seatbelt device, the pretensioner is provided on a rear inner side panel, and an interior material covering the pretensioner is provided on the side facing the vehicle interior. The interior material has a dividing wall provided on the rear surface, the dividing wall protruding toward the rear inner side panel. The dividing wall encloses the pretensioner and partitions the gap between the rear inner side panel and the interior material.

Vehicle structure comprising seatbelt device

An engagement structure includes a garnish main body, a garnish lid, an engagement stop, and an engaged part. The engagement stop has an engagement protrusion and is disposed on one of the garnish main body and the garnish lid. The engagement protrusion protrudes in a direction opposite to an airbag accommodated between the pillar and the garnish main body. The engaged part is engaged to the engagement protrusion and is disposed on another of the garnish main body and the garnish lid. The engaged part has a guiding surface configured to guide the airbag during inflation.

Engagement structure

An interior component for a vehicle formed by superimposing a bottom edge portion of a second interior component on a top edge portion of a first interior component or by placing these portions so as to face against each other, and by joining these interior components together by a joining component, wherein the joining component includes: a top supporting portion joined to a back surface of the second interior component, which supports a top edge side of the second interior component; and a bottom engaging portion provided underneath of and separated from the top supporting portion, which engages the bottom edge of the second interior component with the first interior component.

Interior component for a vehicle and method of mounting the same

Locking structures each include a locking claw portion formed on a desired object, and a locking clamp mechanism formed on at least one of left and right wall portions of a console device. The clamp mechanism has a fitting hole portion formed in the wall portion for fitting therein of the locking claw portion, a locking support portion for lockingly supporting the claw portion fitted in the fitting hole portion, and a pair of opposed movement-preventing projecting portions formed on opposite ends of the support portion for preventing movement of the object between the opposite ends. The clamp mechanism also having a resiliently-deformable elastic portion formed integrally with the wall portion to extend into the hole portion for resiliently pressing the claw portion against the support portion.

Locking structure

A vehicle occupant protection apparatus for use in a vehicle includes an occupant-protecting expansion part caused to expand in the form of a curtain in the vehicle cabin along windows. The expansion part is attached to the vehicle body at two attachment points positioned forward and rearward of the windows. A tension line that joins the two attachment points is in a position where the expansion part is extended between the two points, and is positioned below the lower edges of the windows.

Vehicle occupant protection apparatus

A structure of arranging interior components of a vehicle is provided. The structure includes a panel member extending along a side of a roof of the vehicle, and a bracket having a fixing base attached to the panel member, a first attaching base to which a first interior component is attached, and a bent piece connecting the fixing base and the first attaching base. The bent piece includes a sideward extending portion which inwardly extends in a width direction of the vehicle from the fixing base, and a downward extending portion which downwardly extends from the sideward extending portion and to which the first attaching base is connected. A second interior component is arranged between a space surrounded by the panel member and the bent piece.

Arranging structure of vehicle interior components

A vehicle rear body structure is disclosed having a flat portion formed on a rear floor panel, a bottom portion of a spare tire resting concave portion lower in height than the flat portion, and a front wall connecting the flat portion and the bottom portion to one another and sloped downwardly rearwardly. A front wall reinforcing member for reinforcing the front wall is mounted along an inclined surface of the front wall. The front wall reinforcing member limits deformation of the front wall by guiding the spare tire along the inclined surface when the spare tire is moved forward. As a result, a distance between the front wall and a fuel tank disposed below the front wall and the flat portion is reduced for thereby enabling the fuel tank to have an increased volume.
