In preset calculation, a plurality of cooling banks are set to be feedforward or feedback banks, and each of water injection amounts in these banks is calculated. In cooling history management, a recalculation position for re-executing the feedback calculation is set. In feedback calculation, a temperature correction value for compensating a delay due to a conveyance time period from a position of the feedback bank to a position of a delivery side pyrometer, and a response delay of the feedback bank is calculated, when a segment reaches the recalculation position. In the feedback calculation, each of water injection amounts in the feedback banks that is calculated in the preset calculation is changed for each of segments based on a delivery side temperature target value, a delivery side temperature actual value calculated for each of the segments, a delivery side temperature prediction value that is recalculated, and the temperature correction value.

Control device for cooling apparatus

The prediction system of strip chew collects and stores first data and second data as adaptive model construction data. The first data indicates the occurrence or non-occurrence of the strip chew in an object rolling path and the occurrence point of the strip chew. The second data includes information on a preceding rolling path and attribute information on an object strip. The system constructs an adaptive model using the stored adaptive model construction data, and stores the constructed adaptive model as an adapted model. The system collects prediction data similar to the second data. Then, the system inputs the prediction data to the adapted model to predict the occurrence or non-occurrence of the strip chew in the object rolling path and all or some of the occurrence points of the strip chew before the prediction object strip reaches the object rolling path.

A physical model identification system according to the present invention first uses actual data sampled from a manufacturing line to learn a statistical model expressing a controlled object in the manufacturing line. Next, this system creates numerical quantity data quantifying an input-output relationship between a registered input variable and a response variable of a learned statistical model. Next, this system identifies a correction coefficient of a physical model such that a relationship, expressed by the numerical quantity data, between the registered input variable and the response variable is maintained. An identified correction coefficient is reflected in the physical model implemented in a calculator controlling the manufacturing line. Accordingly, prediction precision of preset values and control values of the controlled object by a practical model is improved, and a stable operation of the manufacturing line and high quality production become possible.

A roll state monitor device includes: rolling force detector configured to detect rolling force of a monitored roll selected from an upper roll set and a lower roll set; force variation value extractor configured to extract a rolling force variation value based on the rolling force for each rotation position of the monitored roll; and identification part configured to identify a roll eccentricity amount of the monitored roll by acquiring a plurality of accumulated values by accumulating separately for each rotation position of the monitored roll a value which is one of the rolling force variation value and a roll gap equivalent value calculated based on the rolling force variation value, and by dividing each of the plurality of accumulated values by a correction coefficient corresponding to a roll rotation amount.

An abnormality determination support apparatus includes an analysis object data preparation unit, a primary determination unit, and a secondary determination unit. The analysis object data preparation unit acquires a time-series signal representing at least one of a state of the manufacturing facility and a product quality from a data collection apparatus of the manufacturing facility, and extracts analysis object data from the time-series signal. The primary determination unit derives a plurality of primary determination results from common analysis object data by applying a plurality of different types of analysis methods to the analysis object data extracted by the analysis object data preparation unit. The secondary determination unit includes a machine learning device.

Manufacturing equipment diagnosis support system

A power management device managing electric power in a load facility group including plural load facilities includes: a detector that detects an instantaneous value of power consumption for each of the plural load facilities; a forecaster that forecasts an instantaneous value of power consumption for each of the plural load facilities; an operation unit that obtains a difference between the value detected by the detector and the value forecasted by the forecaster, for each of the plural load facilities; a controller that outputs a storage command or a discharge command based on whether the difference obtained by the operation unit is positive or negative; and a storage/discharge device that stores/discharges electricity based on the storage command or the discharge command output by the controller. The power management device can respond to instantaneous and steep power consumption amount change in a load facility to enable efficient use of power.

In an energy-saving-operation recommending system, a total energy consumption of plural facilities during passage of one material to be rolled through a rolling line is calculated, and the total energy consumption is divided by a width and a length of the material to be rolled before rolling to calculate an energy consumption reference value that defines energy consumption per unit width and unit length of the material to be rolled. The energy consumption reference value is stored in association with a steel grade and a target post-rolling plate thickness of the material to be rolled. An energy consumption reference value corresponding to a steel grade and a target post-rolling plate thickness of a material to be next rolled on the rolling line is obtained. The energy consumption reference value is multiplied by a width and a length of the material to be next rolled to calculate predicted energy consumption.

Energy-saving-operation recommending system

An energy-saving control device for a rolling line, the energy-saving control device capable of finding rolling conditions for minimizing energy consumption for the rolling line while ensuring a quality of a product. The energy-saving control device for a rolling line includes: an energy consumption estimating unit that calculates energy consumption for the rolling line based on rolling conditions for the rolling line; and an energy consumption optimizing unit that changes a rolling condition other than a target temperature of a material to be rolled, as a manipulation item so that the energy consumption calculated by the energy consumption estimating unit is reduced while a quality of a product formed by rolling the material to be rolled is ensured.

A motor speed control device for a rolling mill, which includes a rolling roll that rolls a metal material, a roll rotation shaft directly connected to the rolling roll, a motor rotation shaft that transmits power to the roll rotation shaft, and a motor that drives the motor rotation shaft, includes: a non-contact type speed sensor arranged at a position close to the rolling roll with spacing to a circumferential surface of the roll rotation shaft to detect a roll rotation shaft angular speed of the roll rotation shaft; and a speed controller that controls a speed of the motor based on a comparison value between an actual value and a target angular speed of the rolling roll so that the actual value coincides with the target angular speed. The actual value is the roll rotation shaft angular speed to be fed back to the speed controller.

An electricity demand prediction system includes electricity usage data collection means, production schedule storage means, model creation means, and short-term electricity demand prediction means. The electricity usage data collection means collects electricity usage data of each device and causes electricity usage data storage means to store the collected electricity usage data. The model creation means creates an electricity amount calculation model of each prescribed product type for each device on the basis of the electricity usage data stored in the electricity usage data storage means and a past production schedule stored in the production schedule storage means. The short-term electricity demand prediction means computes future electricity demand for each device on the basis of the electricity amount calculation model created by the model creation means and a future production schedule stored in the production schedule storage means.

Provided is a power equalization device capable of equalizing the power supplied to a manufacturing line from outside even in the case where a plurality of materials are simultaneously processed at different locations. For this purpose, the power equalization device has a power demand prediction function of predicting power consumption expected when a plurality of materials are simultaneously processed at different locations of a manufacturing plant or manufacturing line of a metallic material, and a power equalization control function of causing a power storage device to make the manufacturing plant or the manufacturing line perform discharging in the case where power consumption predicted by the power demand prediction function exceeds a prescribed value, so that power supplied to the manufacturing plant or the manufacturing line from an external power system becomes not more than the prescribed value.

Power equalization device

A control device for a rolling plant, which is capable of reducing the pouring amount of cooling water by pouring cooling water at timing of high cooling efficiency when a material being rolled is cooled, and thereby being capable of saving the energy consumption. The control device includes a plurality of rolling stands that are arranged in tandem on a rolling line to roll the material being rolled of a metallic material conveyed on the rolling line, and inter-stand cooling systems that are provided between the plurality of rolling stands to pour cooling water onto the conveyed material being rolled. The inter-stand cooling systems are configured so that the pouring amount of cooling water poured from the inter-stand cooling system positioned on the upstream side on the rolling line is larger, and the pouring amount of cooling water poured from the inter-stand cooling system positioned on the downstream side is smaller.

A control apparatus of a rolling mill includes a load top/bottom distributor distributing loads as top and bottom side loads, a load top/bottom variation identification mechanism identifying load variation components occurring in connection with a rotational position of rolls from the top and bottom side loads, and top/bottom identified load variation storage storing, for each rotational position of rolls, top and bottom side variation components of the load in a kiss-roll condition identified by the load top/bottom variation identification mechanism. A manipulated variable computer computes a roll gap instruction value based on the top and bottom side variation components of the rolling load identified by the load top/bottom variation identification mechanism, and the top side variation component and the bottom side variation component of the load in a kiss-roll condition stored in the top/bottom identified load variation storage.

A water injection controller and method usable in rolling lines using stored cooling water to cool a material. A cooling water usage predictor predicts, for a respective prescribed prediction cycle, usage of cooling water in a prescribed prediction target period. A constrained running condition predictor takes the predicted cooling water usage to predict a required running condition of a pump system in the prediction target period meeting a prescribed constraint condition. An energy consumption calculator takes the predicted running condition of the pump system to calculate an energy quantity to be consumed. An optimizer determines an optimal energy quantity to be consumed among plural energy quantities to be consumed under changed running conditions of the pump system. A pump system running controller controls running of the pump system having as a target value therefor a running condition of the pump system requiring the optimal quantity of energy to be consumed.
