A wheel driving device includes: a motor rotating a shaft: an input gear fixed to the shaft; at least one transmission gear meshed with the input gear to transmit power of the motor; and a final gear meshed with the transmission gear and connected with a wheel via an axis to transmit the power from the transmission gear to the wheel. The wheel driving device includes an extraction gear meshed with the final gear or the transmission gear, and a power transmission part connected with the extraction gear to transmit the power from the extraction gear to a cleaner head.

Provided is a suction unit to be provided in an electric vacuum cleaner including an electric blower. The suction unit includes a suction inlet arranged to extend in a longitudinal direction, and arranged opposite to a surface to be cleaned; a connection opening to be connected to the electric blower; a suction passage arranged to extend along a center line joining a middle of the suction inlet in the longitudinal direction and a middle of the connection opening in the longitudinal direction to connect the suction inlet and the connection opening; and a plurality of first partition walls each of which is arranged in the suction passage, and is arranged to extend from a side on which the connection opening is defined to a side on which the suction inlet is defined. The suction passage includes a first main passage and a plurality of first division passages.

Suction unit

A motor includes a bearing mechanism, a stationary unit including a stator arranged radially outwards of the bearing mechanism, and a rotary unit supported by the bearing mechanism at the upper side of the stationary unit for rotation about a center axis with respect to the stationary unit. The rotary unit includes a substantially cylindrical closed-top rotor yoke having a cover portion arranged to cover the stator. The bearing mechanism includes a substantially cylindrical closed-bottom bush formed by a press work, a sleeve fixed inside the bush and provided with an upper portion protruding beyond the bush and a shaft inserted into the sleeve. An upper end of the bush is lower than or flush with an upper end of the stator in a direction parallel to the center axis.

Motor and storage disk drive apparatus

A motor includes a stationary unit, a bearing mechanism, a rotary unit, and a chucking device. The rotary unit includes a rotor yoke provided with a cover portion extending around the chucking device and designed to allow the storage disk to be directly or indirectly mounted thereto and a removal-preventing member fixed to the cover portion to prevent removal of the rotary unit from the stationary unit. The removal-preventing member made of metal. The removal-preventing member includes a removal-preventing portion, an upper fixing portion having a plurality of upper protrusions inserted into the through-holes of the cover portion and bent toward the upper surface of the cover portion, and a lower fixing portion making direct or indirect contact with the lower surface of the cover portion and cooperating with the upper fixing portion to fix the position of the removal-preventing portion in a direction parallel to the center axis.

Motor, storage disk drive apparatus and motor manufacturing method

In a motor, a retaining claw with a slanted surface is arranged around the upper end of a tubular portion of a housing for mounting a rotor. A cylindrical portion is integrally formed in a peripheral area of a rotational axis of a turntable. A retaining member with retaining portions having a J-shaped cross section is attached to the lower surface of the turntable. Arms of the retaining portions are located in the vicinity of the lower end of the cylindrical portion. In mounting the rotor onto the housing, the retaining portions contact the slanted surface and the arms are elastically deformed. Upon completion of the mounting, the arms return to a state before the elastic deformation, so that the retaining claw prevents the rotor from coming off.

Motor

An inner rotor type motor includes a turn table having a disk loading portion and a central opening portion arranged to allow a disk to be attached thereto and removed therefrom, a rotor concentric with a rotation axis of the turn table, the rotor including a rotor holder having therein a rotor magnet and a cylindrical portion arranged to retain on an outer circumferential surface thereof the rotor magnet, and a stator having an armature arranged to oppose an outer circumferential surface of the rotor magnet via a gap therebetween. The turn table is affixed in an axial direction on an upper portion of the rotor holder, and the disk loading portion is arranged radially outside the cylindrical portion of the rotor holder. A disk loading surface of the disk loading portion is arranged to make contact with the disk, and a bottom portion of the disk loading portion is arranged axially below an area where the turn table and the rotor holder make contact with one another. The disk loading portion has a predetermined thickness in the axial direction, thereby preventing a deformation of the disk loading portion even when the disk is placed thereupon.
