A vehicle body damper brace including: a rod member having an elongated shape; a housing including a tubular part arranged externally about the rod member; an elastic connector including a first connection body comprising a viscoelastic material, the elastic connector elastically connecting the rod member and the housing to each other in an axis-perpendicular direction; and a regulator provided on at least one axial side of the first connection body and separately from the elastic connector, the regulator suppressing an amount of relative displacement between the rod member and the housing in a prizing direction.

Vehicle body damper brace

A vehicle-use resin module including a strength member made of synthetic resin and including a mounting hole, and an attachment member attached to the mounting hole and configured to be subjected to an external force. The attachment member includes an outer fitting having a tubular part arranged in the mounting hole in an inserted state. The outer fitting includes an outer circumferential projection projecting to a radially outer side of the tubular part. The strength member is an insertion-molded component having a structure in which the outer circumferential projection of the outer fitting is embedded so as to be inserted inside a circumferential wall of the mounting hole. A surface of the tubular part of the outer fitting and a surface of the outer circumferential projection are each directly fixed to the strength member with an adhesive.

A vibration-damping device including: a first mounting member configured to be mounted to one of components of a vibration transmission system; a second mounting member configured to be mounted to an other of the components of the vibration transmission system; a main rubber elastic body connecting the first mounting member and the second mounting member elastically to each other; a bracket attached to the second mounting member, the bracket having a mounting part configured to be mounted to the other of the components of the vibration transmission system; a tubular outer member secured press-fit to the second mounting member; a mass member disposed within the tubular outer member; and a support rubber fixed at an outer peripheral part of the mass member, the support rubber elastically connecting the tubular outer member and the mass member to constitute a dynamic damper.

Vibration-damping device

A vibration damping device including a main rubber elastic body elastically connecting first and second mounting members. An upper portion of the main rubber elastic body constitutes a small-diameter portion to which the first mounting member is bonded, while a lower portion thereof constitutes a large-diameter portion to which the second mounting member is bonded. The first mounting member includes an inner recess opening onto an outer circumferential surface thereof, and the small-diameter portion of the main rubber elastic body is bonded to the inner recess. The main rubber elastic body has an outside diameter dimension made larger at a portion bonded to the inner recess than an outside diameter dimension of the first mounting member at a lower side than the inner recess such that the small-diameter portion of the main rubber elastic body is thick-walled by being bonded to the inner recess.

Vibration damping device

Provided is a vibration damping device having a novel structure and that can have a greatly increased load strength resistance without a concomitant increase in the number of components or size at a stopper mechanism. The structure is such that first and second stopper portions having a hanging plate part and a dip part are provided to a pair of opposing sides of a stopper plate of a vibration damping device, whereas a pair of side plate portions extending between the first and second stopper portions are provided to the other pair of opposing sides of the stopper plate, and openings at both sides of the first and second stopper portions are closed by the pair of side plate portions.

A fluid-filled vibration damping device including a second orifice passage and a third orifice passage tuned to a lower frequency than the second orifice passage, and an actuator including an output portion facing openings of the second and third orifice passages on a side of an equilibrium chamber via a flexible film. The flexible film obstructs the openings of the second and third orifice passages when the output portion comes into contact against a partition member so that the third orifice passage is blocked while the second orifice passage is substantially placed in communication owing to a center recess of the output portion permitting deformation of the flexible film. Meanwhile, the flexible film is separated from the openings of the second and third orifice passages when the output portion is separated from the partition member so that the two orifice passages are placed in communication.

Fluid-filled vibration damping device

An active vibration or noise suppression system is provided that achieves fast convergence of vibration or noise. A sine wave control signal yis constituted by frequency of a vibration or noise source, and an amplitude filter coefficient aand a phase filter coefficient &#x3c6;as an adaptive filter coefficient. The sine wave control signal yis expressed by a sine wave having an amplitude component and a phase component, and each of an amplitude update term &#x394;aand a phase update term &#x394;&#x3c6;includes a sine wave or cosine wave term having an amplitude component and a phase component. The phase component of the sine wave control signal yis multiplied by a coefficient other than 1, or the phase component of the sine wave or cosine wave term of each of the amplitude update term &#x394;aand the phase update term &#x394;&#x3c6;is multiplied by a coefficient other than 1.

Active vibration or noise suppression system

A vibration damping device including a first mounting member arranged on a lower side of a second mounting member, the first and second mounting members being elastically connected by a main rubber elastic body, and an outer bracket arranged on the lower side of the second mounting member. A coupling part is constituted by engagement between a bottom edge of the second mounting member and a top edge of the outer bracket, and the second mounting member is configured to be attached to a vibration source via the outer bracket. The outer bracket is arranged in opposition to the first mounting member in an axis-perpendicular direction, and an axis-perpendicular stopper member that regulates relative displacement between the first and second mounting members in the axis-perpendicular direction is constituted by contact between the first mounting member and the outer bracket.

An engine mount for use in a power unit vibration damping support structure configured to be mounted on a transmission side in a state without a distributed support load of a weight of the power unit being applied, the engine mount including: an inner shaft member; an outer tube member arranged separated to an outer circumference side of the inner shaft member; and a main rubber elastic body fixed to the inner shaft member while being attached to the outer tube member non-adhesively such that the inner shaft member and the outer tube member are elastically connected by the main rubber elastic body, wherein the outer tube member is configured to be attached to the power unit, and the inner shaft member is configured to be attached to a vehicle body.

Engine mount and power unit vibration damping support structure

A fluid-filled vibration damping device including: a pressure-receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber disposed on either side of a partition plate, while being connected through a first orifice passage; a moveable film arranged to either a pressure-receiving chamber side or an equilibrium chamber side of the partition plate while being spaced away therefrom to define therebetween an intermediate chamber; a second orifice passage connecting the intermediate chamber and one of the pressure-receiving and the equilibrium chambers while being tuned to higher frequency than the first orifice passage; and a flow straightening plate arranged in opposition to the moveable film at least at one of the intermediate chamber side and an opposite side thereof, the flow straightening plate having a plurality of flow straightening apertures opening towards the moveable film and furnished with a flow limiting member.

A fluid-filled type vibration damping device wherein a low-frequency orifice passage and at least one high-frequency orifice passage are formed in a partition member, which is supported by a second mounting member; a valve body is disposed at least at one opening of the high-frequency orifice passage and is provided with a spring member that in a nonloaded state positions the valve body away from the opening of the high-frequency orifice passage to hold the high-frequency orifice passage in an open state; and, at times of vibration input, the valve body is adapted to block the high-frequency orifice passage in opposition to a holding force of the spring member.

Fluid-filled type vibration damping device

An electromagnetic actuator having: a stator and a movable member disposed in a central hole of a coil member of the stator movable in an axial direction; a coupling rod fixed to the movable member; and an elastic stopper having a ring shaped sealing unit at its outer periphery part, a first stopper unit at its center part, a coupling unit that mutually couples the sealing unit and the first stopper unit, and second stopper units located radially between the sealing unit and the first stopper unit at respective circumferential positions. The sealing unit is compressed between the bottom wall of a housing and a lid member to form a sealing mechanism that fluid-tightly close an opening of an adjustment hole. The first stopper unit axially faces the coupling rod bottom with a first separation distance, and the second stopper units axially face the movable member bottom with a second separation distance greater than the first.

Electromagnetic actuator for active vibration damping device

An active vibration insulator includes an electromagnetic actuator, a controller, and a bad-roads processor. The electromagnetic actuator generates vibrating forces depending on electric-current supplies. The controller carries out vibrating-forces generation control. In the vibrating-forces generation control, the electric-current supplies are made variable so as to actively inhibit vibrations generated by an on-vehicle vibration generating source of a vehicle from transmitting to a specific part of the vehicle based on cyclic pulsating signals output from the on-vehicle vibration generating source. Thus, the controller lets the electromagnetic actuator generate the vibrating forces. The bad-roads processor stops the vibrating-forces generation control effected by the controller when the vehicle travels on bad roads.

Active vibration insulator

A method of setting control data by an active vibration isolation control system includes the steps of selecting, when a frequency of a pulse signal actually detected is superior to a predetermined frequency, appropriate control data selected from among predetermined data maps incorporating control data capable of securing, in accordance with various vehicle driving conditions respectively, a control condition in which operation of the vibrator is preferably controlled, calculating a deviation between the appropriate control data commensurate with the actual vehicle driving condition at the time of controlling and actually detected data representing vibration subjected to a vehicle specific position, the actually detected data obtained in terms of a same physics amount as a physics amount of the control data, and modifying the appropriate control data on the basis of the calculated deviation.

Method of setting control data in an active vibration isolation control system and a control method thereof

A vibration controller includes a map controller, an adaptive controller, a set-up frequency judge/switcher, and an actuator. The map controller includes a data map storage for storing data on control signals determined in advance for a vibration insulator, and a signal generator for selecting one of the data, depending on a frequency of a cyclically pulsating signal emitted from a vibration generating source of a vehicle, from the data map storage and generating a control signal. The adaptive controller generates the control signal with respect to the cyclically pulsating signal using an adaptive control method. The set-up frequency judge/switcher switches from the map controller to the adaptive controller or vice versa based on the frequency of the cyclically pulsating signal. The actuator actuates an actuator of the vibration insulator based on the control signal generated by the map controller or the adaptive controller, whereby inhibiting the vehicle from vibrating.
