Provided is an aircraft seat that enhances passenger comfort and reduces the burden on cabin attendants. The aircraft seat includes a base with a relatively movable seat portion and a backrest portion; an actuator for relatively moving the seat portion and the backrest portion; a biometric sensor installed on the base and configured to obtain biometric information of a passenger; a plurality of elastic members installed on the base; a modification device configured to change an elastic force of at least one elastic member, and a control device, wherein the control device operates the actuator or the modification device in response to a signal from the biometric sensor.

Safety monitoring system of galley

Water leakage of a steam oven provided on an aircraft for heating ingredients is to be prevented. Two solenoid valvesandare inserted in series in a water supply circuit of a steam oven. A power switchsupplies a 15 V direct current to the solenoid valvesand. A controllertransmits a command to driving circuitsandof the solenoid valves according to a signal of a temperature sensorin the oven. An output of a clock generatoris counted by a frequency counter and a time in which the valves are opened is counted. When count of a valve opening time becomes longer than a predetermined value, the power switchof the solenoid valves is disconnected to prevent water leakage.

Steam oven for aircraft

A control system is provided that adopts a communication network using wireless visible light and IR light communications in a galley of an aircraft which is subjected to limitations of aviation regulations regarding wired communications. Insert equipments each having a visible light receiving element and an IR emitting element are disposed in a galley of an aircraft, and a galley controller is disposed within the galley or a circumference area thereof having a visible light emitting panel, an IR receiving element and a display/control panel for controlling the insert equipments. A mutual communication function between the galley controller and the insert equipments and a remote control function for controlling the insert equipments from the galley controller are realized via transmission and reception of visible light communication data and IR communication data.

Galley control system of aircraft

A current control circuit (active element) is provided that is connected between a rectifier of a DC power source and a smoothing capacitor in a power frequency converter and that controls a variation in the rectified current caused by a variation in the instantaneous power consumption of the load device. When the rectified current increases, the current control circuit limits the current to have a reference current value or lower and, when the rectified current decreases, the current control circuit increases the current to have a value close to the reference current to thereby suppress the rectified current from the rectifier to a substantially-constant value. This consequently mitigates the influence on the primary power source by the variation in the instantaneous power consumption of the load device, thus clearing the Load Demand Variation specification required for the power source to be used in an aircraft.

Power frequency converter

There is provided a highly safe steam oven capable of controlling the amount of steam generated appropriately. Water dripped from a water feeder to the inside of a cooking chamber is converted into steam by a heater in the cooking chamber. The thus generated steam in the cooking chamber is discharged through a steam channel which keeps the inside of the cooking chamber connected to the outside of the steam oven. The temperature of steam passing through the steam channel is measured by a steam temperature measuring device. The amount of water fed from the water feeder is controlled in response to the measured temperature.

Steam oven

A galleyhas a main bodyconstructed of a panel material, and the galley main bodyhas a table, a sink, a storage compartmentand a service cart housing compartment. A hot-water supply unithas a hot-water tankwith an electric heater and an electric instantaneous water heaterand is supplied with electric power by a control unit. The hot-water tankand a hot-water tapare connected via a hot-water supply line. In response to a command from a device that manages the electric power in the aircraft, the control unitprovides hot water using the instantaneous water heaterwhen the electric power consumption in the aircraft is low.

Aircraft galley

A door for an amenity receiving section of a lavatory unit for a passenger airplane formed from honey-comb panels the door having a narrow width length plate and a structure wherein one side edge lengthwise thereof is curved, and a straight rigid rod is secured adjacent to the curved side edge lengthwise of the door and having a spring action for pressing a curved convex portion of the door to exert a spring force on the inside of the receiving section.
