Disclosed is a stepping motor including a rotor, a stator which includes a rotor accommodating hole, a pair of outer notches to determine positions of saturated magnetic fluxes and inner notches disposed on an inner periphery of the stator around the rotor accommodating hole, the inner notches determining stably stationary positions of the rotor, and a coil block configured by a coil wound around a coil core which is magnetically coupled to the stator, and the outer notches are disposed on an outer periphery of the stator on opposite sides of the rotor accommodating hole. And a line that connects narrowest portions between the outer notches and the rotor accommodating hole and extends through a center of the rotor accommodating hole shifts by a predetermined angle from a line that extends through the center of the rotor accommodating hole and is orthogonal to an extending direction of the stator.

A high-speed rotating wheel rotates at high speed by a third stepper motor which meshes with a portion of teeth of a ratchet wheel. A transmission projection of the ratchet wheel moves within an elongated hole of a transmission wheel which rotates with the movement of the hour hand. The ratchet wheel rotates at high speed, and a display wheel rotates at high speed by the high speed rotation of the ratchet wheel via a feed wheel. When normally moving the hour hand, the ratchet wheel rotates with the transmitting wheel and the portion of teeth of the ratchet wheel is made to approach the high-speed rotating wheel. When the display of the display wheel changes, the high-speed rotating wheel meshes with the portion of teeth of the ratchet wheel and rotates the ratchet wheel at high-speed. Accordingly, the date display of the display wheel can be quickly changed.

An optical-type rotational body position detection apparatus includes a body being rotational in a predetermined angle at each predetermined time interval to cross an optical axis between fixed light emitting and detecting units, including a standard position hole on a rotational locus crossing the axis, and configured such that after rotating the body at one interval from a standard position at which the hole coincides with the axis, a periphery of the hole is positioned outside the periphery at the standard position. The apparatus further includes a restriction unit on a support to cross the axis and to permit light passing and to restrict a diameter of the passing light. The restriction unit restricts the diameter of the passing light to be smaller than a minimum distance within a positional displacement tolerable error range of the hole after the predetermined angled rotation of the body.

Optical-type rotational body position detection apparatus

The present invention relates to an illumination device. When the light from the, light emitting element is guided to the first illuminating portion of the light guide plate, the light is radiated from the whole upper surface of the first illuminating portion to illuminate the upper surface side of the light guide plate. Also, when the light from the light emitting element is guided to the second illuminating portion of the light guide plate, the light is radiated from the whole lower surface of the second illuminating portion to illuminate the lower surface side of the light guide plate. The upper and lower surface sides of the light guide plate can be excellently illuminated with one light guide plate.
