A resin molded component includes a bus bar having conductivity, a conductive member including an insertion hole into which the bus bar is inserted along an axis line direction, a resin member covering the bus bar and insulating the bus bar and the conductive member, and a potting material charged into the insertion hole. The bus bar includes a bend terminal portion positioned at an end portion in the axis line direction, and bent along a terminal bend direction, and a bus bar crank portion positioned inside the insertion hole and extending along a crank direction intersecting with the axis line direction and the terminal bend direction. The resin member includes a resin crank portion positioned inside the insertion hole and covering and insulating the bus bar crank portion. The potting material covers a whole circumference of the resin crank portion when charged into the insertion hole.

The drive unit comprises: a geared transmission that transmits torque between a power split mechanism and a differential unit; and a reduction mechanism that multiplies torque of a second motor to be delivered to the differential unit. In the drive unit, an engine, a first motor, the power split mechanism, and a counter drive gear are arranged around a first rotational axis, the differential unit, the second motor, the reduction mechanism, driveshafts, and a differential ring gear are arranged around a second rotational axis, and a counter driven gear is arranged around a third rotational axis. The reduction mechanism is positioned without overlapping with the engine, the first motor, and the counter drive gear in an axial direction.

A rotating electric machine includes: a rotary shaft member; a rotor including an annular rotor core having magnet housing holes; a stator including an annular stator core and a stator coil; a field yoke; and a field coil provided in the field yoke. Further, a bridge portion is provided between two magnet housing holes, an end surface in an axial direction at one end in a radial direction of the field yoke and an end surface in the axial direction of the bridge portion face each other in the axial direction, and an end surface in the axial direction at another end in the radial direction of the field yoke, and an end surface in the axial direction of the rotor core or an end surface in the axial direction of the stator core face each other in the axial direction.

A rotary electric machine includes: a rotary shaft member; first and second rotor including first and second rotor core, respectively, including first and second permanent magnets having first and second polarity, first and second magnet-based magnetic pole portions having the first and the second polarities and being formed by the first and the second permanent magnets, and first and second iron core portions having the second and the first polarities and being formed by iron pole portions of the first and the second rotor core, are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction of the first rotor core; a stator; and a field yoke. An electric motor includes: a rotary shaft member rotating about an axis; a rotor including a rotor core, which has an annular shape and is provided on the rotary shaft member, and a magnet provided on the rotor core; a stator including a stator core, which has an annular shape and is disposed at an interval from the rotor core in a radial direction that is a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the rotary shaft member, and a stator coil wound around the stator core; a field yoke, which has an annular shape, includes the rotor and the staorm, and has a fixed relative positional relationship with the stator core; and a case member, which has a side wall extending in the axial direction to face an outer peripheral surface of the field yoke, the field yoke being fixed to the case member.

A rotary electric machine equipped with a magnetic flux variable mechanism includes a case body, a mover moving upon receipt of centrifugal force, a magnetic flux short circuit member, a cam member, and biasing springs. The cam member includes a cam surface so as to face the mover and make contact with the mover, and the cam member converts a radial movement of the mover received by the cam surface into an axial movement of the magnetic flux short circuit member. The biasing springs give a biasing force to the magnetic flux short circuit member in a direction distanced from an axial end surface of the rotor core, so as to determine a position of the magnetic flux short circuit member along the axial direction in a state where the biasing force is balanced with the centrifugal force applied to the mover via the cam member.

An electric motor includes: a rotary shaft member rotating about an axis; a rotor including a rotor core and a magnet, the rotor core being provided on the rotary shaft member, the magnet being provided on the rotor core; and a stator including a stator core and a stator coil, the stator core having a plurality of slots formed in a circumferential direction, the stator core being disposed at an interval in a radial direction that is a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the rotary shaft member with respect to the rotor core, the stator coil being inserted into the plurality of slots and wound around the stator core. A rotor for a rotating electric machine includes: a rotor core having magnet holes; magnets inserted in the magnet holes of the rotor core. Each of the magnets includes two first surfaces respectively facing outward and inward of the rotor radial direction, and two second surfaces respectively facing one side and the other side of the rotor circumferential direction. Both ends in the rotor axial direction of at least one first surface of the two first surfaces are covered with electric insulating films, and a lateral surface region between both ends of the one first surface that are covered with the electric insulating films, and the two second surfaces are covered with no electric insulating films.

A rotary electric machine includes an annular stator, an inner rotor, an outer rotor and a toroidal coil. The annular stator includes inner teeth protruding radially inward and outer teeth protruding radially outward. The inner rotor faces a radially inner side of the annular stator. The outer rotor faces a radially outer side of the annular stator. The toroidal coils are arranged in each inner slot between any adjacent two of the inner teeth and a corresponding one outer slot between adjacent two of the outer teeth. The total number of the plurality of outer slots is larger than the total number of the plurality of inner slots. The number of the coils arranged in all the outer slots is larger than or equal to the number of the coils arranged in all the inner slots.

The rotor of the rotating electric machine includes the rotor shaft and the rotor core. The rotor shaft has the shaft refrigerant passage and the refrigerant supplying port on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaft, the shaft refrigerant passage extending in an axial direction, the refrigerant supplying port communicating with the shaft refrigerant passage. The rotor core has the rotor core refrigerant passage and the refrigerant receiving port on the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core, the rotor core refrigerant passage extending in the axial direction, the refrigerant receiving port communicating with the rotor core refrigerant passage and facing the refrigerant supplying port of the rotor shaft. A clearance groove part is provided at a portion that is on the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core and that faces the refrigerant supplying port of the rotor shaft, the clearance groove part extending in the axial direction.

A stator is for a rotary electric machine. The stator includes a stator core includes a stator yoke having an annular shape, teeth being projected to an inner diameter side from the stator yoke, coils wound around the teeth, and a reinforcing member. The reinforcing member has a ring shape, and fixed to an axial end surface at a tip of each of the teeth. The tip is a portion on the inner diameter side of an arrangement range of the coil. The reinforcing member is a non-magnetic body.
