A vehicle includes an engine, a front frame, a rear frame, an intermediate frame, a front propeller shaft, a rear propeller shaft, and a wet oiling brake. A pair of right and left front lower arms are swingably mounted to the front frame. A pair of right and left rear lower arms are swingably mounted to the rear frame. The intermediate frame is located between the front frame and the rear frame. The front propeller shaft extends forward from the engine and the rear propeller shaft extends rearward from the engine. The wet oiling brake is located within a region defined by the intermediate frame in the front-rear direction and brakes a rotation of the front propeller shaft.

Vehicle

A vehicle includes an engine, a front frame, a rear frame, an intermediate frame, a front propeller shaft, a rear propeller shaft, and a brake. A pair of right and left front lower arms are swingably mounted to the front frame. A pair of right and left rear lower arms are swingably mounted to the rear frame. The intermediate frame is located between the front frame and the rear frame. The front propeller shaft extends forward from the engine and the rear propeller shaft extends rearward from the engine. The brake is located outside the engine in the front-rear direction and within a region defined by the intermediate frame and brakes a rotation of the front propeller shaft.

A vehicle includes an engine, a continuously variable transmission, a shiftable transmission, a switching lever, a shift rod, and an operation lever. The continuously variable transmission is located at a side of the engine. The shiftable transmission is located on the same side as the engine in a right-left direction with respect to the continuously variable transmission. The switching lever is located on the same side as the continuously variable transmission with respect to a center of the shiftable transmission in the right-left direction, and inputs a shifting operation force into the shiftable transmission. The shift rod is linked to the switching lever. The operation lever is operated by a driver seated on the seat to shift the shiftable transmission, and is linked to the shift rod.

A straddle-type vehicle includes an input shaft connected to a rear drive shaft and extending in a front-rear direction of the vehicle, an output shaft connected to an axle and configured to rotate by receiving a driving force from the input shaft, a brake operator on which an operation is performed to brake the input shaft, a plate group disposed between a wall portion of a housing and a cam member, a cam plate disposed between the cam member and the plate group, an operation shaft extending in a direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to an axial direction of the input shaft, a first engagement protrusion protruding from the cam plate, a second engagement protrusion protruding from the operation shaft and engaging with the first engagement protrusion, a lever rotatable together with the operation shaft, and an operation cable connected to the brake operator and the lever.

Straddle-type vehicle

A straddle-riding vehicle includes a vehicle body frame including an engine supporting portion that supports an engine and a front wheel supporting portion arranged in front of the engine supporting portion, wherein a wheel supporting arm that supports the front wheel and a suspension arm that supports the wheel supporting arm are mounted to the front wheel supporting portion. At least a portion of a secondary air introduction unit that introduces secondary air into an exhaust passage of the engine is positioned directly behind the front wheel supporting portion.

Straddle-riding type vehicle

A spark arrestor mounted on a muffler connected to an exhaust pipe of an engine includes a cylindrical portion including an opening that extends therethrough from the outside to the inside thereof, two cap members that respectively close first and second ends of the cylindrical portion, a mesh portion that covers the opening, and a tail pipe extending from the inside to the outside of the cylindrical portion through the cap member, wherein the exhaust flows outside the cylindrical portion in a first direction, and a channel where the exhaust flows in a second direction opposite to the first direction is provided inside the cylindrical portion.

Spark arrestor, muffler, and straddle type vehicle

A vehicle can be operated in a first drive mode in which a front differential is set to a non-driven state and a rear differential is set to a differential state, a second drive mode in which the front differential is set to a non-driven state and the rear differential is set to a differential locked state, a third drive mode in which the front differential is set to a differential state and the rear differential is set to a differential locked state, and a fourth drive mode in which the front differential is set to a differential locked state and the rear differential is set to a differential locked state. Transition is allowed only between adjacent drive modes.

In an all terrain vehicle, an engine body of an engine unit is positioned along a center line that is perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to a transverse direction of the vehicle. A continuously variable transmission of the engine unit is disposed transversely lateral to the engine body. A center console includes an inner space. The center console is disposed in a transverse center portion of a cabin space. The center console connects a space positioned forward of a front panel and a space positioned under a seat. An intake duct is connected to an upper surface of the engine unit, and extends forward therefrom. The intake duct is at least partially disposed in the interior of the center console. An exhaust duct is connected to the engine unit, and extends rearward therefrom.

All terrain vehicle

In an all terrain vehicle, an engine unit is at least partially disposed under a seat. An exhaust pipe includes a first portion, a second portion and a third portion. The first portion is connected to a rear surface of the engine unit, and extends rearward therefrom. The second portion is connected to the first portion, and has a U-shaped configuration. The third portion is connected to the second portion, and extends forward therefrom. A muffler is connected to the exhaust pipe. The muffler is arranged such that the first portion and the third portion at least partially overlap with an area located between two tangent lines of the muffler. The tangent lines of the muffler are perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to a tangent line shared by the first portion and the third portion.
