A vehicle back door has a first cord-like member disposed in a door body formed of a resin panel member. The first cord-like member has a wire that is routed in the panel member, a first mounting member that fixes the wire to the panel member, a second mounting member that fixes the wire to the panel member, and a bracket that movably holds an intermediate part between the first mounting member and the second mounting member of the wire.

A vehicle body trim assembly includes a trim member. The trim member includes a fender attachment structure, a windshield trim attachment structure and a cowl cover attachment structure. The trim member, including each of the fender attachment structure, the windshield trim attachment structure and the cowl cover attachment structure, is formed as a single, unitary, monolithic element molded from a rigid material and a section made of a flexible material.

According to an embodiment, a wireless communication apparatus includes a communication control unit, a transmitting unit and a receiving unit. The communication control unit selects one frequency channel from a plurality of frequency channels and switches the frequency channel to be selected. The receiving unit is configured to receive a reception signal of the selected frequency channel from another wireless communication apparatus. The receiving unit includes an interference wave detection circuit configured to detect an interference wave signal of a detection frequency. The interference wave signal is included in an input signal received during an interference wave detection period. In the interference wave detection period, the reception signal is not received. The communication control unit masks a frequency channel related to the detection frequency among the plurality of frequency channels to create a frequency channel map. The communication control unit does not select the masked frequency channel.

Wireless communication apparatus and wireless communication method

The radio transmitting apparatus includes a first initial phase value setting circuit that sets, in the first modulator, an initial value of the phase of the first modulated signal, which is a value at the start of the modulation according to the first modulation scheme. The radio transmitting apparatus includes a second initial phase value setting circuit that sets, in the second modulator, the phase stored in the phase storing circuit as an initial value of the phase of the second modulated signal, which is a value at the start of the modulation according to the second modulation scheme. The radio transmitting apparatus includes a signal gathering circuit that selects and outputs the first modulated signal output from the first modulator and then selects and outputs the second modulated signal output from the second modulator.

A suspension member for connecting a vehicle body and a suspension device that comprises a pair of side members that extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body and are located symmetrically relative to the center in the transverse direction of the vehicle body, and cross members interconnecting the pair of side members and extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle body. The suspension member is formed by press-molding only after flat plate-like side members and cross members are welded in butt joints.

A vehicle front structure includes a side member to be placed to extend in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The side member includes a support portion to support a power unit at a support point, and a weak section which is formed on the front side of the support point toward the front of the vehicle, and which is weakened in an upper side and lateral sides of the side member with respect to a lower side of the side member.

A modulator receives an I-phase transmission data signal and a Q-phase transmission data signal, which have been spread-spectrum processed, and modulates an intermediate frequency signal in accordance with the data signals, an IF-AGC amplifier amplifies the output of the modulator, the gain of the IF-AGC amplifier being controlled in accordance with a gain control signal, an up-converter increases the output of the IF-AGC amplifier to a propagation frequency, the gain of the up-converter being controlled in accordance with a control signal.

From opposed ends of a front frame, there extend right and left side frames. A front suspension structure is arranged behind the front frame and located between the right and left side frames. The front suspension structure includes a front member which extends between respective lower portions of the right and left side frames. The front member has a steering gear mounted thereon. A reinforcing structure extends between the front frame and the front member to reinforce the front suspension structure against an external force suddenly applied to the front member.

A finisher installed at the rear end of an automotive vehicle body. The finisher is comprised of two plate-like plastic parts which are joined at a parting plane with each other. The two plate-like plastic parts have respectively outer surfaces which are planarly aligned with each other to form a common flat outer surface. At least one of the two plate-like plastic parts is colored. The parting plane includes a horizontal flat narrower section which is generally perpendicular to the outer surface, and an inclined flat wider section contiguous to the horizontal section and inclined relative to the outer surface in such a manner as to form an acute angle between it and the outer surface defining the colored plastic part, thereby improving the strength and appearance of the finisher.

Plastic structural member

An umbrella container equipped in an automotive vehicle and used to store therein an umbrella for a vehicle passenger. The umbrella container is comprised of a cylindrical casing disposed between the inner and outer panels of a rear fender of the vehicle. The casing is formed at its one end with an umbrella entrance. A cylindrical umbrella support member is slidably disposed inside the casing to be displaceable within a certain range in the longitudinal direction of the casing. The umbrella support member is biased toward the umbrella entrance by means of a constant force spring. The umbrella support member can be selectively locked at a plurality of positions in the casing longitudinal direction upon insertion of the umbrella by means of a multiple state locking mechanism, thereby making possible to store a variety of umbrellas of different lengths. Additionally, the speed of displacement of the umbrella support member is regulated under the resistance of air entering an air chamber defined between the other end of the casing and the umbrella support member, thereby preventing the umbrella from suddenly popping up during umbrella taking-out operation.

Herein disclosed is an umbrella holder which comprises an elongate casing, a tip holder axially movably disposed in the casing and having a catch portion by which a tip portion of an umbrella is caught upon insertion of the umbrella into the casing through an umbrella inlet opening of the casing, a biasing structure for biasing the tip holder toward the umbrella inlet opening, a locking device for locking the tip holder at a desired position relative to the elongate casing, and an unlocking device for disabling the locking device when the tip holder is rotated in a given direction about the axis thereof.
