A transmission system includes: a transmission-side device that has a transmission-side clock generation unit that generates a first clock signal on the basis of a reference clock signal; a clock extraction unit that removes a data clock signal superimposed with transmission data to a reception-side device; a clock difference acquisition unit that determines a difference between the first clock signal and the data clock signal; and a packet generation unit that packetizes the information on the difference determined by the clock difference acquisition unit; and the reception-side device that has a reception-side clock generation unit that generates a second clock signal on the basis of the reference clock; a packet reception unit that receives the information on the packetized difference from the transmission-side device; and a data clock regeneration unit that regenerates the data clock signal on the basis of the second clock signal and the difference information.

Transmission system

A stent includes a plurality of annular units each made of a linear portion which extends circumferentially while folding in a zigzag manner and which is connected annularly, and connection portions which connect axially adjacent ones of the annular units with each other. Predetermined annular units have radiopaque markers each fixedly attached midway between one folded portion and a next folded portion in the linear portion located in a predetermined circumferential position.

The present invention provides a transmission apparatus including transmitting side line interfaces which convert packet format data sent from an asynchronous network to a SONET/SDH frame format and then transmit the data, multiple receiving side line interfaces which receive the SONET/SDH frame format data and convert the data to packet format data and a circuit switching section which performs circuit switching. The transmitting side line interfaces include a variable length frame mapping section which converts the packet format data to variable length frame format data and a time division multiplexing mapping section which converts the variable length frame format data to the SONET/SDH frame format data. The receiving side line interfaces include a variable length frame demapping section which reconverts the SONET/SDH frame format data to variable length frame format data.

Transmission apparatus

An information distribution apparatus for a CATV system which apparatus is capable of transmitting an identical program directed to a plurality of set-top boxes with the use of a single communication path between a distribution control section and an information distributing section. When distribution of identical information is requested from a plurality of set-top boxes, path identification number decision unit determines an identification number of a single communication path for these set-top boxes. Distribution information transmitting unit transmits the requested distribution information to the information distributing section via the communication path with the thus-determined identification number. In the information distributing section, set-top box identifying unit identifies individual set-top boxes to which the distribution information is to be distributed, based on the identification number of the communication path used for transmission by the distribution information transmitting unit. Distribution information distributing unit distributes the distribution information to each of the identified set-top boxes.

Information distribution apparatus

In a subscriber testing system, a V5 interface protocol is used as a communication protocol. A switch includes a processing unit for transmitting to a communication node a piece of test specifying information, inputted from a maintenance/operation terminal, for indicating a subscriber test for a subscriber's line and subscriber circuit that correspond to an accommodated subscriber by use of specifying information of a message type based on the V5 interface protocol. The communication node includes a processing unit for making a testing device execute the subscriber test on the basis of the test specifying information received via a logical link from the switch, and sending test result information for informing of a result of the test back to the switch by use of specifying information of a message type based on the V5 interface protocol.

Subscriber testing system

An ATM cell bridge apparatus and a cell bridging method as well as an information transmission system having a cell bridge apparatus by which a cell can be outputted in accordance with a priority degree even during multicast processing. The ATM cell bridge apparatus includes a buffer unit for storing cell data of input cells, a buffer control unit for controlling writing and reading out of the cell data into and from the buffer unit, a cell production control unit for managing multicast information of the cell data read out from the buffer unit by the buffer control unit and producing a cell to be outputted from header information of the cell data, and a cell outputting unit for outputting the cell produced by the cell production control unit and issuing a cell data readout request to the buffer control unit.

In an access network system for performing a maintenance management of an access line, a processor stores an allocation status of a bearer channel to be managed, and a system manager determines an availability status of the access line based on the allocation status. Also, the processor determines the availability status based on the allocation status and loop open/close information of a PSTN/ISDN user line. Furthermore, the system manager activates a test portion based on the availability status.

Access network system

Line states are detected accurately to efficiently test subscriber lines, thereby improving the reliability and quality of maintenance and operation. Line monitoring means monitors line states based on at least one of loop information of lines and status information of bearer channels. Subscriber line testing means conducts subscriber line testing in accordance with the line states.

Communication device and access network device

Disclosed is a subscriber loop carrier system wherein, to synchronize the phases of frames and multiframes from a plurality of subscriber loop carriers, corrections are made on the phases of frames and multiframes without relying on memory storage. The phase difference of the frame and multiframe phases with respect to a reference phase is detected at the receiving end. The detected phase difference is transmitted from the receiving end to the transmitting end. At the transmitting end, the phases of frames and multiframes being formed are controlled on the basis of the detected phase difference.

Method and apparatus for correcting phase of frames in subscriber loop

A telephone system comprises a multi-channel transmission apparatus for connecting a subscriber line to a telephone exchanger, where the transmission apparatus comprises: a subscriber interface for interfacing said subscriber line; a detecting circuit in the subscriber interface for detecting a change in a voltage on the subscriber line; and a discriminating circuit for discriminating whether the change detected by the detecting circuit is continuous or intermittent, upon discriminating the detected change in voltage as intermittent the discriminating circuit outputs a first alarm signal. The discriminating circuit may be formed of a software counter which counts a number of the intermittent signals for a predetermined period. The software counter does not require a bulky and expensive components, such as a 60 Hz filter. If the counted number is larger than a predetermined number the signal is determined to be intermittent. The first alarm signal may start a subscriber line tester which includes an AC voltage tester to measure an AC voltage on the subscriber line. If the measured AC voltage exceeds a predetermined criterion, it is determined that a power exposure has happened. This method allows a quick and correct detection of power exposure by merely adding a program into a currently provided micro processor, without requiring additional component.
