To provide an apparatus and a system suitable for continuously and stably producing hydrogen by taking advantage of a direction composition reaction of hydrocarbons as well as a method for separating a solid product. Provided are a hydrogen producing apparatus using a nickel-based metal structure for the direct decomposition reaction of hydrocarbons and a discharging and recovering system comprising: a depressurization chamber communicating with a lower opening of the reaction chamber of hydrogen producing apparatusvia a ventilation hole; a first valve capable of opening and closing said ventilation hole; a collection box communicating with the depressurization chamber via a channel; a second valve capable of opening and closing said depressurization chamber; and a depressurization pump communicating with the collection box.

A system for controlling valve opening/closing timing that allows an unlocking operation to be reliably performed is configured. When extracting a lock member from a recess, a second control valve is set to an unlock position, a first control valve is set to a predetermined position, and a relative rotation phase is displaced. As a result, the relative rotation phase is displaced in a direction opposite to the direction of displacement by cam average torque from a camshaft. A valve opening/closing timing control device is configured to be capable of appropriately setting a valve opening/closing timing within a short period of time from start-up of an internal combustion engine. An advancing chamber and a retarding chamber for relative phase control are formed between a driving rotating body that rotates synchronously with a drive shaft of an internal combustion engine and a driven rotating body that rotates integrally with a valve opening/closing camshaft, and a lock mechanism that locks the relative rotation phase at a locked phase is provided. During start-up of the internal combustion engine, a controller starts fluid-filling control for filling the advancing chamber and the retarding chamber with a fluid, and performs unlock control for releasing a locked state of the lock mechanism before filling of the fluid by the fluid-filling control is completed.

The purpose of this invention is to provide a pleated-type filter used for an apparatus for collecting dust that is optimally designed and to provide the apparatus for collecting dust using the filter, wherein the pleated-type filter can keep the resistance to its ventilation low when the filter is installed in the apparatus for collecting dust so that the pleats are directed vertically, and wherein the area for installing the main bodies of the pleated-type filters can be reduced as much as possible. The ratio of the apertures of the pleats (P/H) that is defined by the intervals (P) between the crests of adjacent pleats of the main body and the heights (H) of its pleats ranges from 0.1 to 0.3. The ratio is determined based on the relationship between the area for installing the pleated-type filters and the ratio of the apertures of the pleats (P/H). This is done by using the resistance to ventilation of the contaminated filtering cloth, which resistance corresponds to a coefficient of resistance that is caused by a filtering cloth and residual dust that cannot be shaken off from the filter by means of the shaking-off operation.

Apparatus for collecting dust and a pleated-type filter therefor

A gear reduction mechanism is provided with a rotatable shaft supported by a pair of spaced apart bearings in a one piece retainer having coaxially aligned holes for receiving said bearings. A potentiometer is supported from the same retainer and is provided with an input axle adjustably connected to the shaft to provide an output signal indicative of the angular position of the shaft. The adjustment may take place through a vent hole in the housing of the mechanism which has a removable filter therein.

An actuator end cap is provided for an actuator having a housing and a cover connected together and defining a joint therebetween. The end cap has a skirt portion disposed in overlying relation to the joint to provide a fluid-tight seal for the joint. A breather hole is formed in the side of the cover and a semi-cylindrical groove is formed on the inner surface of the skirt of the end cap. One end of the groove is disposed in communication with the breather hole in the cover and the other end of the groove is in communication with a vent hole extending outwardly through the end cap.

A free wheel hub control system for a free wheel hub mechanism is positioned between a drive shaft and an axle hub supported by a spindle. A flexible printed circuit is disposed between an inner face of the spindle and an outer face of the drive shaft to transmit a control signal to an electric element of the free wheel hub mechanism. A cylindrical collar having contact portions is tightly fitted to the inner face of the spindle to hold the printed circuit in position.
