An information processing apparatus includes one or more processors and one or more storage media storing a program. The program includes one or more instructions that cause the one or more processors to execute acquiring information on a current location of a vehicle and a destination of the vehicle; acquiring one or more scheduled travel routes for reaching the destination from the current location; acquiring current weather information; predicting a standstill section in which a standstill situation is likely to occur on the one or more scheduled travel routes; predicting a standstill time during which a standstill situation occurs in the predicted standstill section; calculating heating power consumption due to use of heating over the predicted standstill time; performing a determination as to whether to additionally charge a traveling battery of the vehicle in accordance with the heating power consumption; and presenting information corresponding to a result of the determination.

Information processing apparatus

A drive motor control system performs control of a drive motor of a vehicle that includes the drive motor and a battery. The drive motor control system includes a control processor that controls an electric current supply from the battery to the drive motor and includes an operational state determiner that determines whether a condition that the vehicle is being stopped, a condition that a parking brake is being released, and a condition that a parking range is being selected are satisfied. When the operational state determiner determines that all the conditions are satisfied upon a reception of a trigger signal instructing a start of the control of the drive motor, the control processor performs control of an inverter such that the electric current supply is performed to cause the drive motor to repeat small reverse rotations and thereby induce small movements of the vehicle in front and rear directions.

Drive motor control system and snow removal system for vehicle

A vehicle control apparatus to be applied to a hybrid vehicle includes a continuously variable transmission, a clutch mechanism, and a travel processor. The continuously variable transmission is coupled to an engine and a first motor via an input passage, and coupled to drive wheels via an output passage. The clutch mechanism is provided on the output passage. When the travel mode is switched from a first mode in which the clutch mechanism is engaged to the second mode in which the clutch mechanism is released, the travel processor releases the clutch mechanism and stops the continuously variable transmission while maintaining a speed ratio of the continuously variable transmission. When the travel mode is switched from the second mode to the first mode, the travel processor synchronizes rotation speeds of input-side and output-side portions of the clutch mechanism by controlling the continuously variable transmission, and engages the clutch mechanism.

Vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle control system to be mounted in a hybrid electric vehicle includes an engine, a center differential that includes a front-wheel-side output portion and a rear-wheel-side output portion and distributes torque outputted from the engine to a front wheel and a rear wheel, a limited slip differential mechanism that limits a differential between the front-wheel-side output portion and the rear-wheel-side output portion, and a motor disposed in a drive-power transferring system that transfers drive power from the rear-wheel-side output portion to the rear wheel. The vehicle control system includes a processor. When the hybrid electric vehicle is switched from a first traveling mode to a second traveling mode, the processor stops the engine while causing the limited slip differential mechanism to limit the differential between the front-wheel-side output portion and the rear-wheel-side output portion.

Vehicle control system

An injector drive device supplies driving electric power to injectors injecting fuel to cylinders of an internal combustion engine. The cylinders are grouped into multiple groups including at least a first cylinder group and a second cylinder group. The injector drive device includes: a booster circuit that boosts voltage of electric power supplied from an external power source; a first and second capacitors that accumulates electric power to be supplied to the injectors of the first cylinder group and the second cylinder group respectively; switch elements that selectively supply the output of the booster circuit to the capacitors; and a controller that, in the case where a charging amounts of the capacitors both are below a predetermined value, switches the switch elements to supply the output of the booster circuit preferentially to the capacitor that has a shorter period until a next planned fuel discharge start.

Injector drive device

A multi-hop wireless communication system which synchronizes a time signal generated by a timer device included in each of the wireless terminals and sets a different active timing to a wireless terminal connected to each of a plurality of multi-hop routes. The wireless terminal monitors the time signal of the timer device included in the wireless terminal and activates wireless communication of the wireless terminal when it is detected that the time signal matches an active timing set in the wireless terminal.

Multi-hop wireless communication system

A handover method is to provided by which a station can move between access points with interruption in communication minimized. An access point assigns mobile stations existing in its own wireless network to identification codes, different from station to station, to thereby carry out association, and thereafter transmits beacon frames each containing a different identification code to the mobile stations. The identification codes are allocated beforehand specifically to each of the access points included in the wireless LAN. When the station is handed over to an adjacent access point, the adjacent access point transmits beacon frames containing the corresponding identification code to that station. Thus, the station is able to continue communication without recognizing the transfer from one wireless network to another.

Handover method in wireless LAN by assigning an identification code to a mobile station

A wireless communication apparatus coordinates communication among a set of mobile stations by giving the mobile stations permission to transmit packets. The mobile stations divide comparatively long packets into shorter fragment packets. When the wireless communication apparatus receives a fragment packet with an indication that the station that transmitted the fragment packet has another fragment packet to transmit, the wireless communication apparatus gives the mobile station permission to transmit the next packet. The mobile station can accordingly transmit its fragment packets in continuous succession, avoiding a defragmentation timeout at the receiving end.

Wireless communication apparatus

A communication apparatus installed in the trains and that in a complex station building, a station or a maintenance factory communication through feeders, trolley wires or third rails can communicate each other. The present invention can realize a low cost vehicle-facility intra communication system that provides various information services available in the train.

Communication apparatus, communication method and installation method of railway vehicle-facility intra communication system

A vacuum circuit breaker particularly suitable for use in an electric motor vehicle. The circuit breaker includes a vacuum interrupter to which a voltage is applied, the series combination of a capacitor and a switch which are connected in parallel with the vacuum interrupter, a provision for charging the capacitor with a voltage opposite the voltage applied to the vacuum interrupter, and a resistance connected in parallel with the vacuum interrupter. The vacuum interrupter, the resistance, and the series combination of the capacitor and switch form oscillation circuit having an oscillation frequency at least 2 KHz and an inductance of at least 1 .mu.H, with a commutating current of at least 5000 A for consuming energy stored in the circuit. In one embodiment, a capacitive element is connected in parallel with the resistor, and the length of the closed circuit include the vacuum interrupter and the capacitive element is shorter than the length of the closed circuit including the vacuum interrupter, the first capacitor, and the switch. Likewise, where no capacitive element is included, the length of the closed circuit including the vacuum interrupter and the resistance is shorter than the length of the closed circuit including the vacuum interruptor, the capacitor, and the switch. The resistance can be a linear or a nonlinear resistor, or the parallel combination of a linear resistor and a nonlinear resistor.

D.C. vacuum circuit breaker for an electric motor vehicle

There is provided a logic device wherein an alternating input signal having a frequency which is one of two frequencies allotted to two input logical values, respectively, positive logic '1' and negative logic '0', is inputted to the device. An output logical value is decided depending on the determination which frequencies the input frequency coincides with or not, and an alternating output signal having a frequency which corresponds to the output logical value is delivered out of the device. The logic device, even when constituted with semiconductor elements, can have highly reliable fail-safe capability and can be reduced in size and weight.
