A display device includes a first transistor including a first material as a semiconductor material and including a first gate electrode, a second transistor including a second material as a semiconductor material different from the first material and including a second gate electrode arranged in a different layer from the first gate electrode, a first wiring arranged in the same layer as the first gate electrode, a second wiring arranged in the same layer as the second gate electrode, and a third wiring formed in the same layer as a source electrode or a drain electrode of the second transistor and different from the first wiring and the second wiring. The first wiring, the second wiring and the third wiring overlap in a plan view.

Display device

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device with an optical sensor includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes first to third signal lines, an optical sensor including a photoelectric conversion element, first to third power feeding lines supplying first to third voltages to operate the optical sensor, and a sensor signal line outputting the detection signal. The first to third power feeding lines are located between the first to third signal lines and the sensor signal line in a thickness direction.

Liquid crystal displays with optical sensors

A riblet structure according to the present technology includes a plurality of riblets that are arranged in a width direction and each include a first wall portion and a second wall portion, the first wall portion being vertically provided to be substantially perpendicular to a bottom portion, the second wall portion including an inclined portion connected to the first wall portion at an apex portion and inclined with respect to a perpendicular direction at a predetermined angle.

According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a substrate; photoelectric conversion elements arranged on the substrate; transistors that each include a semiconductor layer and a gate electrode facing the semiconductor layer and are provided for each photoelectric conversion element; and a first electrode and a second electrode that are provided between the substrate and the photoelectric conversion elements in a direction orthogonal to the substrate and face each other with an insulating film interposed therebetween. The first electrode includes main parts that overlap the respective photoelectric conversion elements and a coupling part couples together adjacent main parts of the main parts. The second electrode is formed to have an island pattern for each photoelectric conversion element. The first electrode is located in the same layer as that of the gate electrode. The second electrode is located in the same layer as that of the semiconductor layer.

Detection device

A liquid crystal display device having an outer shape of a display region formed other than a rectangle. A driver for supplying a video signal is disposed outside the display region. A selector with selector TFT is disposed between the display region and the driver. A video signal line is disposed between the driver and the selector, and a drain line is disposed between the selector and the display region. A scanning circuit for supplying a scanning signal to the scanning line is disposed outside the display region. The selector is disposed between the scanning line and the display region, and covered with ITO as the common electrode. The common bus wiring is disposed outside the selector.

Liquid crystal display device

According to an aspect, a display device with a sensor includes: a substrate including a display region and a peripheral region on a periphery of the display region; detection electrodes arranged in a row-column configuration in the display region; and detection lines coupled to the respective detection electrodes. A shape of the substrate in a plan view includes a curve of a curved portion. The detection electrodes include a first electrode and a second electrode having a shape different from that of the first electrode in a plan view. The second electrode is juxtaposed with the curved portion. The detection lines each include a first line coupled to the first electrode and a second line coupled to the second electrode. The second line passes from the display region across the peripheral region and extends to a position overlapping with the second electrode in a plan view.

Display device with sensor

According to an aspect, a display device includes: a first substrate having a first side and a second side opposed to the first side; a display region provided with pixels; a first partial peripheral region between the first side and the display region; a second partial peripheral region between the second side and the display region; a plurality of signal lines configured to supply signals to switching elements in the pixels; a plurality of first terminals provided in the first partial peripheral region and configured to be electrically coupled to a driver integrated circuit; a plurality of second terminals provided in the second partial peripheral region and configured to be supplied with signals for inspection; and a first coupling circuit provided between the first terminals and the display region in the first partial peripheral region and configured to switch between coupling and decoupling the signal lines and the second terminals.

Display device and substrate of display device

According to one embodiment, an optical sensor-equipped liquid crystal display device includes a display panel and a driver IC. The display panel includes a display area including pixels, a surrounding area surrounding the display area, peripheral circuits provided in the surrounding area, and an optical sensor outputting a detection signal in response to incident light. The peripheral circuit includes a shift register, and a gate switch group connected to the shift register and including a first gate switch and a second gate switch. The first gate switch is connected to a switching element for driving the pixel via a scanning line. The second gate switch is connected to a switching element included in a sensor circuit for driving the optical sensor via a scanning line for sensor.

Optical sensor-equipped liquid crystal display device

It is possible to reduce a size of a lower frame region to ensure a wiring corrosion margin equivalent to that of a conventional technique. In a display device, a video signal wiring arranged in the lower frame region includes, in a region between a terminal section (terminal) and a video signal line, a first wiring formed on a first wiring layer and having one end connected to the terminal section to which a video signal line driving circuit is connected, a second wiring formed on a second wiring layer different from the first wiring layer and having one end connected to the other end of the first wiring, and a third wiring formed on the first wiring layer and having one end connected to the other end of the second wiring. The other end of the third wiring is connected to the video signal line via a fourth wiring formed on the second wiring layer, and the first wiring layer is formed on the side closer to an array substrate than to the second wiring layer.

A riblet structure includes a plurality of wave-shaped riblets on a surface thereof, in which each of the riblets has a smaller peak height as an angle formed between a ridge line and a fluid flow direction becomes larger, a width between peak bases in a direction orthogonal to the fluid flow direction becomes smaller as the angle becomes larger, and an angle formed between a slope of a peak of the riblet and the surface at the peak base or a curvature at the peak base is identical at any position in a cross-sectional shape in the direction orthogonal to the fluid direction.

A display device with a variant-shape display region other than the rectangular display region is configured to form a scanning line drive circuit along the variant-shape display region. The scanning line drive circuit includes bus wiring group with clock wiring for supplying clocks with three or more phases and the power supply wiring for supplying power, and the unit circuits for configuring the shift register including five or more transistors. The bus wiring and the unit circuits are formed on the different regions so as not to cross with one another.

An inspection circuit is properly protected in a display device, in which the driver IC is not on the terminal area. A liquid crystal display device includes a TFT substrate including a display area, a terminal area, and a counter substrate overlapping with the display area of the TFT substrate. The display area includes video signal lines. The seal material adheres the counter substrate and the TFT substrate. The display area is formed in an area surrounded by the seal material. The flexible wiring circuit substrate connects to the terminal area. The driver IC supplies video signals to the video signal line. The driver IC is not installed in the terminal area. The inspection circuit is formed between the display area and the terminal area. The inspection circuit overlaps with the counter substrate in a plan view.

Display device having pixels including pixel TFTs provided in a display area and switching TFTs located outside of the display area

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device with an optical sensor includes a display panel and a driver IC. The display panel includes first to third signal lines, an optical sensor including a photoelectric conversion element, and a sensor signal line that is connected to the optical sensor and transmits a detection signal to the driver IC. One first wiring line drawn from one terminal of the driver IC is connected to four switching elements. Three of the four switching elements are electrically connected to one of the first to third signal lines, respectively. One of the four switching elements, different from the three switching elements, is electrically connected to the sensor signal line.

Provided is an optimal user interface for curbing sound generated by an imaging device. For this purpose, the imaging device includes a user interface control unit that performs user interface processing of enabling selection of whether or not to curb at least a part of sound generated in a first period from a power-on state until issuance of a transition instruction to a power-off state and a second period from the issuance of the transition instruction until the power-on state, and a switching control unit that changes control related to sound according to a selection result of the user interface processing.
