A guide device includes a track member and a moving member with rolling elements interposed therebetween. A lubricating path is formed in the moving member for supplying lubricant to a circulation path for the rolling elements. The lubricating path has a common path including an inlet portion that serves as a supply port for the lubricant, a first path through which grease flows, and a second path through which lubricating oil flows. A cross-sectional area of the second path is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the first path, and in the common path, a second communication portion of the second path is located closer to the inlet portion than a first communication portion of the first path. Further, the guide device includes a plug member for blocking the inlet portion of the common path, the plug member being removable and able to be moved within the common path.

A motion guide device includes: a track member including a rolling member rolling surface; a movable member including a loaded rolling member rolling surface, and a rolling member return passage; a pair of cap members including a direction change passage connecting the loaded rolling member rolling surface and the rolling member return passage; and a plurality of rolling members arrayed in a rollable manner on a loaded rolling member rolling passage, the rolling member return passage, and a pair of the direction change passages, the loaded rolling member rolling passage being made up of the rolling member rolling surface and the loaded rolling member rolling surface. A gap between the rolling member and the direction change passage at a boundary portion X is formed so as to become smaller than a gap between the rolling member and the rolling member rolling surface at the boundary portion.

The motion guide device includes a lubricant supply passage provided in at least one of a pair of cover members provided to a movable member and configured to supply lubricant to an endless circulation passage, in which the lubricant supply passage includes at least a first lubricant supply passage &#x3b1; formed to extend in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the track member from at least one of a left side surface and a right side surface of the cover member, and a second lubricant supply passage &#x3b2; connected to the first lubricant supply passage &#x3b1;, and a passage shape in a place connected to the first lubricant supply passage &#x3b1; of the second lubricant supply passage &#x3b2; is configured as a diameter-expanded hollow section having a diameter more expanded than a passage shape of another place. Thus, a new form of a cover member is provided.
