The present invention relates to an inducer geometry which can optimize the behavior stability of cavitation in an inducer having a plurality of blades of the same geometry. In the inducer having a plurality of blades of the same geometry, a blade loading at a tip side in a front half of a blade is larger than that in a rear half of the blade; and when a blade angle from a circumferential direction of the inducer is expressed by &#x3b2;(degree) and a meridional distance is expressed by m (mm), an increase rate d&#x3b2;/dm of the blade angle at the tip side is not less than 0.2 from a blade leading edge to a non-dimensional meridional location of 0.15, and the increase rate d&#x3b2;b/dm of the blade angle at a mid-span is not less than 0.25 from the blade leading edge to the non-dimensional meridional location of 0.15.

Inducer

A stent delivery system for delivering a stent, the stent delivery system having a push catheter, a guide member, and an elongated stent securing material having a first portion arranged to a push catheter outer surface, a second portion, a third portion, and a fourth portion arranged to the push catheter outer surface, in that order. The first portion and the fourth portion are arranged to the push catheter outer surface such that only one of the first portion and the fourth portion is present on a cross-section plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. The stent delivery system is configured to have a secured configuration in which the guide member is arranged within a push catheter lumen and a stent lumen and through a loop formed by a section between the second portion and the third portion to secure the stent.

An ultrasonic treatment apparatus comprises an endoscope having an insertion portion to be inserted in a body cavity, and a treatment unit having an ultrasonic vibrator which generates ultrasonic vibrations, and a treatment portion which performs treatment by utilizing the ultrasonic vibrations generated by the ultrasonic vibrator. The ultrasonic treatment apparatus further comprises a treatment unit holding portion, which is provided in a distal end portion of the insertion portion and to which the treatment unit is attached, a cable which transmits an electric signal to the ultrasonic vibrator, and at least one bundle member which bundles the insertion portion and the cable.

An ultrasonic transducer unit that generates ultrasonic vibration for treating living tissues has an ultrasonic transducer and a cover member that covers the ultrasonic transducer. A flexible sheath is coupled at one end to the cover member. A signal cable extends through the sheath and is connected at one end to the ultrasonic transducer. A transducer drive unit is connected to the other end of the signal cable. An operation unit is provided at the other end of the flexible sheath.

A treatment apparatus to treat a tissue in a body cavity is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a base disposed in the vicinity of a tip-end portion of an endoscope, and an in-tissue inserting portion including a base end supported by the base and a tip end insertable in the tissue in the body cavity in a direction substantially parallel to the surface of the tissue, and extending to the tip end from the base end in a tapered shape.
