To provide a building method and a building apparatus for building an object having an inconspicuous deposition streak. The building method includes: receiving, from a user, a data on a thickness of a machining allowance added to the object; generating a building data to which a machining allowance having an input thickness is added; generating the object by depositing a building material based on the building data; and polishing a surface of the object.

Building method and building apparatus

A shaping system is provided and includes: a shaping executing part configured to execute shaping of a three-dimensional object and including multiple inkjet heads that respectively discharge ink droplets of colors different from each other; and a shaping controlling part configured to control an operation of the shaping executing part. The shaping controlling part accepts a designation of a shaping color being a color of the three-dimensional object to be shaped based on a shaping data from an user, and causes the shaping executing part to shape the three-dimensional object so that at least an outer appearance of the three-dimensional object is colored in the shaping color which is designated. The shaping executing part shapes the three-dimensional object according to a control by the shaping controlling part, and colors at least an outer appearance of the three-dimensional object in the shaping color designated by the user using multiple inkjet heads.

Shaping system

A molding device that molds a stereoscopic molding object through a layered molding method, where after molding of at least one molding object is started and before the molding of the at least one molding object is completed, molding of another molding object is started. The molding device, for example, includes an ejection head, and a molding object supporter, the molding object supporter includes, for example, a plurality of molding tables, at least an opposing surface of each molding table is independently movable, an ejection head ejects a material toward the opposing surface of at least one molding table to mold the molding object on the molding table, and at least the opposing surface of the molding table on which the molding object is molded is moved in a perpendicular direction to move the molding object in the perpendicular direction.

A shaping system configured to shape a three-dimensional object based on shaping data includes: a shaping executing part configured to execute shaping of the three-dimensional object; and a shaping controlling part configured to control an operation of the shaping executing part, where the shaping controlling part is capable of executing: a first shaping control for causing the shaping executing part to shape a first three-dimensional object using the shaping data that expresses the first three-dimensional object, and a second shaping control for causing the shaping executing part to shape a second three-dimensional object using at least a part of the shaping data that expresses the first three-dimensional object, and the second three-dimensional object is a three-dimensional object for checking a shaping quality of the first three-dimensional object, and is a three-dimensional object that can be shaped in a shorter time than time required for shaping the first three-dimensional object.

A three-dimensional object that maintains a satisfactory visual color quality when the object is observed at different positions or through different angles, and a three-dimensional shaping apparatus for and a three-dimensional shaping method of shaping such a three-dimensional object are provided. The three-dimensional object includes: a shaping base having a first and second outer surfaces adjacent to each other at an adjacent angle; a first colored layer formed on the first outer surface and including a transparent material colored in a first color; a second colored layer formed on the second outer surface and including a transparent material colored in a second color different from the first color; and a partition layer interposed between the side surfaces of the first colored layer and the second colored layer. The partition layer is opaque and has one of the first color, the second color, and an achromatic color.

Three-dimensional object, three-dimensional shaping apparatus, and three-dimensional shaping method

An inkjet forming method is provided and is a three-dimensional object forming method for forming a three-dimensional object in which a target object and a removable portion are integrally formed by vertically stacking a plurality of forming layers in a vertical direction. The inkjet forming method includes: forming the forming layer to include a target layer to be the target object after shaping and a removable layer to be the removable portion after shaping; with respect to the forming layers being vertically stacked in the vertical direction, forming the removable layer to be arranged at an outside of the target layer, and forming an outer contour of the removable layer disposed at a lower side outward than an outer contour of the removable layer disposed at an upper side; and during forming the forming layers, forming the target layer and the removable layer simultaneously with ink droplets ejected by an inkjet printing.

Inkjet forming method

A color adjustment unit in a shaping controller includes a 3D/2D conversion unit which converts 3D data representing a three-dimensional object having colored layers formed on the surface thereof into 2D data; a two-dimensional color patch data creating unit which creates, as two-dimensional color patch data, a plurality of 2D images in which at least one kind of parameter of a plurality of kinds of parameters related to a color of each layer of the colored layers in the converted 2D data is set at a plurality of different levels; a three-dimensional color patch data creating unit which applies thickness information about thicknesses of the colored layers depending on the number of layers of the colored layers to the two-dimensional color patch data to create three-dimensional color patch data; and a color patch layering unit which layers three-dimensional color patches depending on the thickness according to the three-dimensional color patch data.
