To provide an element manufacturing method and element manufacturing apparatus for efficiently manufacturing an element such as an organic semiconductor element. First, an intermediate product, which includes a substrate and a protrusion extending in a normal direction of the substrate, is formed. Next, the intermediate product is covered, at a side where the protrusion is provided, with a first surface of a lid member. After the covering of the intermediate product, a gas is injected into an enclosed space formed at a side of a second surface of the lid member that is present on an opposite side of the first surface. This enhances an internal pressure of the enclosed space, thus bringing the first surface of the lid member into close contact with the intermediate product.

Element manufacturing method and element manufacturing apparatus utilizing differential pressure for covering a substrate

An element manufacturing method and apparatus for efficiently manufacturing an element such as an organic semiconductor element. First, an intermediate product that includes a substrate and a protrusion extending in a normal direction of the substrate is provided. Next, in a stacking chamber conditioned to a vacuum environment, a stacked structure is formed by continuously stacking a lid member on the intermediate product at a side where the protrusion is provided. After this operation, the stacked structure is transported from the stacking chamber to a first pressure chamber coupled to the stacking chamber and conditioned to a first pressure higher than the pressure in the vacuum environment. Next, the stacked structure is further transported from the first pressure chamber to a separation chamber coupled to the first pressure chamber and conditioned to a vacuum environment, and then the stacked structure is separated into the intermediate product and the lid member.

Element manufacturing method and element manufacturing apparatus

An element manufacturing method in which a section of a substrate that is irradiated with laser light can be covered efficiently. A plurality of protrusions of an intermediate product are lined up in a first direction on a substrate, and a sealing mechanism includes one pair of rollers that rotate around a rotational axis extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The paired rollers are lined up spacedly in the first direction. In a sealing step using the sealing mechanism, a section of a lid member that is being tensioned between the paired rollers is in close contact with a part of the intermediate product. In an irradiation step, light passes through the section of the lid member that is being tensioned between the paired rollers, and reaches the intermediate product.

Disclosed are a propylene resin composition (A) composed of 0.5 to 10% by weight of a specific propylene homopolymer (a1), 40 to 98% by weight of a specific propylene polymer (a2), 1 to 25% by weight of a specific propylene-ethylene random copolymer (a3), and 0.5 to 25% by weight of a specific propylene-ethylene random copolymer (a4), where the total amount of (a1), (a2), (a3) and (a4) is taken as 100% by weight, and an olefin resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of the propylene resin composition (A), 5 to 75 parts by weight of an ethylene-&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (B), and 1 to 75 parts by weight of an inorganic filler (C). The propylene resin composition can afford a molded article excellent in scratch resistance and rigidity.

The propylene resin material includes a propylene homopolymer portion and a propylene-ethylene copolymer portion and satisfies specific requirements. The production method includes the step of mixing an organic peroxide with a propylene polymeric material produced via a multistage polymerization process using a polymerization catalyst and comprising a propylene homopolymer portion and a propylene-ethylene copolymer portion, the step of heating the mixture obtained via the mixing step, at a temperature lower than a decomposition temperature of the organic peroxide at which the half-life of the organic peroxide is one minute, and the step of washing the mixture heated in the heating step, with a medium containing an organic solvent.

The present invention provides a propylene polymer molded article being high in tensile elongation and scratch resistance and a propylene polymer composition capable of affording such a molded article. A propylene resin composition contains a specific propylene resin (A), a specific copolymer (B), an inorganic filler (C), a fatty acid amide (D), and carbon black (E), wherein the propylene resin (A) has a content of 52% to 72% by weight, the copolymer (B) has a content of 10% to 20% by weight, and the inorganic filler (C) has a content of 18% to 28% by weight. The total of weights of the propylene resin (A), the copolymer (B) of ethylene and an &#x3b1;-olefin having not less than 4 carbons, and the inorganic filler (C) is taken as 100% by weight. The fatty acid amide (D) is contained at 0.2 to 0.7 parts by weight, and the carbon black (E) is contained at 0.8 to 2.2 parts by weight, relative to 100 parts by weight of the total of the weights of (A), (B) and (C).

Disclosed is a method for producing a modified propylene polymer that exhibits low flowability and also exhibits little fluctuation in melt flow rate compared with the melt flow rate of the propylene polymer before modification, the method involving a heat treatment step of subjecting a mixture comprising 100 parts by weight of a propylene polymer (A), from 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated bond-containing compound (B), and from 0.01 to 20 parts by weight of an organic peroxide (C) whose decomposition temperature at which the half-life thereof becomes 1 minute is lower than 120&#xb0; C. to heat treatment by using an extruder at a temperature lower than the decomposition temperature of the organic peroxide (C) at which the half-life thereof becomes 1 minute.

The present invention provides a flexible substrate, which has solvent resistance, a high level of gas barrier properties, a high level of flexibility, high heat resistance, and a high level of transparency, and is suitable, for example, for use in a wet coating process of an organic device material, and an organic device using the same. The flexible substrate comprises a metal oxide polymer-containing layer and a three-dimensionally crosslinked polymer layer stacked in that order on at least one side of a very thin glass. The metal oxide polymer is a silicon oxide polymer, and the metal oxide polymer-containing layer underlying the three-dimensionally crosslinked polymer layer is neither swollen nor dissolved in an aromatic organic solvent.
