Provided is a lens barrel which causes at least one lens to be movable in an optical axis direction. The lens barrel includes a first tube; a second tube that holds the lens and is movable relatively to the first tube in the optical axis direction; and either one of the first and the second tube includes a first and a second roller which contact with the other tube in a plane orthogonal to the optical axis direction, and the first roller and the second roller are rotable in accordance with the relative movement of the second tube and movable in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis direction at the time of the movement of the second tube. One tube includes a limiting member for limiting the movement of the second roller in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis direction and in a direction to the other tube.

Lens barrel and optical apparatus

A lens barrel includes a first frame configured to hold a first optical element, be movable in an optical-axis direction, and hold a position of the optical element in the optical-axis direction in a nonenergized state; a second frame configured to hold a second optical element, be movable in the optical-axis direction, and not hold a position of the optical element in the optical-axis direction in the nonenergized state; and a shock-absorbing portion provided at least one of the first and second frames. In the nonenergized state, the first frame is positioned within a range of the second frame.

Lens barrel and optical device including the same

An electromagnetic driving apparatus includes a magnet member having a first face in which first and second magnetic poles are formed in a first direction and a second face in which the first and second magnetic poles are formed in a second direction, a first coil facing the first face, a second coil facing the second face, a first member holding the magnet member, and a second member holding the first and second coils. One of the first and second members holds a driven member. The first and second members are relatively moved in the first direction by the energization of the first coil, and the first and second members are relatively moved in the second direction by the energization of the second coil. The actuator constituted by the first and second coils and the magnet member can be compactly arranged in one region in the apparatus.

A lens barrel includes: first and second movable lens units; first and second drive sources for moving the first and second movable lens units in a direction parallel to an optical axis, respectively; guide members for each retaining the first and second movable lens units and for guiding movements of the first and second movable lens units; and a reference position detector for detecting reference positions for the first and second movable lens units, in which: the reference position detector has light emitting receiving elements; the first and second movable lens units have sleeves each engaged with the guide members and have light blocking portions for detecting the reference positions by the light emitting and receiving elements of the reference position detector; and the first and second lens units can move in the optical axis direction, with their respective light blocking portions passing each other without any interference.

An optical apparatus, such as a lens barrel, includes a first unit holding member and a second unit holding member arranged to hold a first optical unit and a second optical unit, respectively, a driven member arranged to be driven to move in an optical axis direction, and a cam member of a plate-like shape having a cam part, the cam member being capable of taking a first state in which the cam member rotates around a predetermined axis, without moving in the optical axis direction, according to movement of the driven member in the optical axis direction, and a second state, different from the first state, in which the cam member moves in the optical axis direction according to movement of the driven member in the optical axis direction, wherein, when taking each of the first state and the second state, the cam member drives the first unit holding member and the second unit holding member in the optical axis direction. More specifically, a normal zooming function is performed in the first state. In the second state, the two optical units are drawn inward to bring the lens barrel into a standby state for photo-taking.

Optical apparatus

A diaphragm device including a pair of diaphragm blades movable in opposite directions relatively to each other along a moving line passing through an optical axis of an optical system characterized in that each of the diaphragm blades is provided with an opening of a shape consisting of combination of an arc having a center of curvature located on said moving line and at least one arc having a radius smaller than the above-mentioned arc and having a center of curvature located on said moving line or on a line at right angle to said moving line.

Diaphragm device

A lens mounting includes a movable cam having a cam portion formed to a convex shape, an axially movable member having a cam follower portion sliding on one of side surfaces of the convex cam portion of the cam in which a cam lift is formed. A lens is arranged to move axially in response to axial movement of the axially movable member, and a leaf spring pressing the other side surface of the convex cam portion urges the cam follower portion toward the one side surface of the convex cam portion. The leaf spring has its pressing portion at a position of the convex cam portion and is fixed to the axially movable member at a position displaced to a direction almost perpendicular to the optical axis from the pressing portion.

Lens mounting

Travelling oscillation waves are generated in a lens assembly at an oscillation element by impressing a voltage to an electro-restriction element or elements, whereupon a lens driving operation is performed by frictionally driving a moving element which is pressed in contact with the oscillation element. In the case of manual operation, an oscillation ring operating as the oscillation element is separated from a rotation ring which constitutes the moving element by a clutch device and then the rotation ring is manually rotated for effecting the lens driving operation.

Lens driving device

In a diaphragm device, a progressive oscillation wave is generated at a vibrating member by electrically energizing electrostriction members while a movable member which is arranged to actuate diaphragm blades is pressed into contact with the vibrating member by means of an urging member. The movable member is then frictionally driven by the oscillation wave to drive the diaphragm.
