A material having a low refractive index that exhibits sufficiently low refractive index without deteriorating the strength of cured film produced therefrom, that can be cured by an active energy ray that is applicable for a resin base material that is not desired to be exposed to heat. Curable composition including: siloxane oligomer (a) containing a radically polymerizable double bond obtained through hydrolysis and condensation of alkoxysilanes containing at least an alkoxysilane A of Formula [1] and alkoxysilane B of Formula [2] in an amount of 100 parts by mass; inorganic fine particles (b) in amount of 10 parts by mass to 1,000 parts by mass; polymerization initiator (c) generating a radical upon active energy ray irradiation in an amount of 0.1 parts by mass to 25 parts by massRSi(OR)&#x2003;&#x2003;[1]RSi(OR)&#x2003;&#x2003;[2]a cured film produced from the composition, and a laminate including a low refractive index layer produced from the composition.

Curable composition including siloxane oligomer and inorganic fine particles

There is provided a composition for forming a hard coat layer which has high slippage and is excellent in water/oil repellency and also has antifouling properties such as fingerprint resistance and dirt wiping-off properties, and which is curable through ultraviolet irradiation in a nitrogen atmosphere or an air atmosphere that is generally used. A silicon-containing highly branched polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer A having two or more radically polymerizable double bonds in a molecule and a monomer B having a polysiloxane chain and at least one radically polymerizable double bond in a molecule in the presence of a polymerization initiator D in an amount of 5 to 200% by mole relative to the number of moles of the monomer A; a curable composition including the highly branched polymer; a cured film obtained from the composition; and a hard coat film obtained by use of the composition.

Silicon-containing highly branched polymer and curable composition containing the same

A curable composition including: (a) 100 parts by mass of a siloxane oligomer containing at least one radically polymerizable double bond, (b) 0.001 to 1 part by mass of a fluorine-containing highly branched polymer, (c) 0.01 to 40 parts by mass of a surface modifier containing a perfluoropolyether compound, and (d) 0.1 to 25 parts by mass of a polymerization initiator generating a radical upon active energy ray irradiation, wherein the fluorine-containing highly branched polymer (b) is a fluorine-containing highly branched polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer A containing two or more radically polymerizable double bonds per molecule and a monomer B containing a fluoroalkyl group and at least one radically polymerizable double bond per molecule in the presence of a polymerization initiator C in an amount of 5 to 200 mol % with respect to the number of moles of the monomer A.

Curable composition including fluorine-containing highly branched polymer and siloxane oligomer

A material for a surface modifying agent with which the problems of insufficient durability as abrasion and chemical resistances of surface modification effect in polyurethane surface modification by the prior surface modifying agent are resolved, and is immobilized in a matrix resin firmly and improved in durability. A reactive fluorine-containing highly branched polymer obtained by: polymerizing monomer A having in a molecule two or more radically polymerizable double bonds, monomer B having in a molecule a fluoroalkyl group and at least one radically polymerizable double bond, and monomer C having in a molecule an alcoholic hydroxy group and minimum, one radically polymerizable double bond, in presence of a polymerization initiator D in an amount of 5 % to 200 % by mole with respect to the number of moles of the monomer A; a curable composition containing the reactive fluorine-containing highly branched polymer; and a cured film obtained from the composition.
