The invention concerns a durable and good-operability fishing rod which is highly strong and is improved in specific rigidity by preventing excessive resin, reinforced fibers from leaning to one side, and resin pools. The fishing rod has a main layer (,) formed by winding a first prepreg provided by impregnating highly strong fibers with resin so that weight percentage becomes 25% or less so that the fibers are oriented in an axial length direction and a reinforcement layer (,) formed by winding a second prepreg provided by impregnating highly strong fibers with resin so that the fibers are oriented in a direction crossing the fiber orientation of the main layer (,) on at least one side of the inside and outside of the main layer (,). The reinforcement layer (,) is formed thinner than the main layer (,), and resin impregnation percentage of the second prepreg is set to substantially the same as that of the first prepreg.

Tubular substance and manufacturing method therefor

An interline fishing rod which not only prevents stress centralization but also includes a fishing line guide and is high in strength. The present invention relates to a tubular body such as a fishing rod or a golf club shaft. According to the present invention, a tubular body is made of reinforcing fibers impregnated with synthetic resin, having a reinforcing layer made of thermoplastic amorphous polymer fibers thereon. Therefore, the thermoplastic amorphous polymer fibers absorb the impact and keep the body proper free from being destroyed or damaged when the tubular body is shocked. In the case of a fishing rod, said fibers absorb and lessen noise so that only a bite of a fish can easily be noticed. In the case of a golf club shaft, the fibers lessen the impact vibration when the sweet spot of the club hits the ball so that it is possible to know whether the club head has hit the ball without fail.

Fishing rod and other tubular bodies

The present invention relates to a fishing rod having a rod tube formed from synthetic resin-impregnated high strength fiber and to a production method thereof. The rod tube of the present fishing rod is filled with resin containing microglobules in a dispersed state. This makes a lighter and stronger fishing rod which withstands extreme deflection. The production method according to the present invention can adjust the ratio of the filled resin and the dispersed microglobules at the tip and butt portions of the rod. Accordingly, the weight, strength, and condition for each portion of the rod can be controlled as required.
