A vehicle rear structure protects a battery unit in a rear-end collision. The vehicle rear structure has a battery unit positioned behind a torsion beam; first and second cross members spanning between side members; a frame member that supports the battery unit; a bridge member spanning from the first cross member to the second cross member, and connected at a rear flange to the second cross member; and reinforcements that are respectively disposed to the side members and reinforce the side members from the front edge to the rear edge of the second cross member. The torsion beam is positioned near directly below the second cross member. The side members slope down to the front from the front end part of the reinforcement.

Vehicle rear structure

A structure is in a lower part of a rear vehicle body. In this structure, each rear side memberis divided into a rear side member front partand a rear side member rear partin a front-to-rear direction of the vehicle, a cross memberbelow a spare tire housing is joined to the rear side member rear part, and a central part in a vehicle width directionof the cross memberbelow the spare tire housing extends rearward in the vehicle and is curved obliquely downward.

Structure for lower part of rear vehicle body

There is provided a support structure for a canvas top bow on a canvas top automobile in which the upper part of a rear seat is made open, and a canvas top bow whose base portions are rotatably supported is erected on both sides of a vehicle body of the open portion to spread a canvas top, characterized in that an adjusting device 8 configured so that the tip end position of the canvas top bow 7 is movable at the stage of spreading the canvas top 3 and at the stage of loosening the canvas top 3 is provided at the base support portions of the canvas top bow 7, and a locking device 13 for keeping the canvas top bow 7 position at the stage of spreading the canvas top 7 bow is provided, whereby the attachment and detachment of the canvas top can be performed easily.
