A reactant gas channel part provided outside an auxiliary machinery case of a fuel cell system is connected to a case through hole. A plurality of channel seal members are provided between the auxiliary machinery case and the reactant gas channel part, where the channel seal members are arranged side by side in the radial direction of the case through hole and surround the case through hole. The reactant gas channel part has an opposing surface that faces a surrounding portion of the auxiliary machinery case that surrounds the case through hole. The channel seal members include an inner seal member abutting on the opposing surface and an outer seal member disposed radially outside of it. A connection channel communicating with an internal space of the auxiliary machinery case is formed between the inner seal member and the outer seal member.

Fuel cell system

A fuel gas injection device of a fuel cell system includes an ejector having a nozzle that generates a negative pressure by discharging a fuel gas injected respectively from a plurality of injectors so as to draw-in a fuel exhaust gas discharged from a fuel cell stack and mix the fuel exhaust gas with the fuel gas. A total orifice equivalent diameter obtained by adding together orifice equivalent diameters of respective injection holes of the plurality of injectors and an orifice equivalent diameter of an injection hole of the nozzle are set such that S&#x3c;S.

Fuel gas injection device and fuel cell system

A valve mechanism includes a first plunger, a second plunger, a seal member, and a valve element. The first plunger has a thread engaging with a threaded portion provided on an inner wall of the flow passage. The first plunger is movable along the axis by rotating around the axis. The second plunger has a first end and a second end. The first end engages with the first plunger such that the first plunger is relatively rotatable with respect to the second plunger. The second plunger is movable along the axis by rotating the first plunger. The seal member is provided to surround the second plunger. The valve element has a back end engaging with the second end such that the valve element is movable along the axis according to movement of the second plunger so as to be seated on and separated from a valve seat.

Valve mechanism for high pressure tank and valve device for high pressure tank

In a detector that constitutes an in-tank valve, an attachment part formed on one end thereof is arranged in facing relation to a connector of a drive unit, and arm members of a bracket, which is substantially U-shaped in cross section and is fixed to the connector, are inserted in and engaged with engagement holes of the attachment part. Thus, the detector is always retained firmly in a state of being pulled to the side of the drive unit by elastic forces of the bracket.

In-tank valve

An apparatus using fuel gas is provided, ensuring charge amount of a battery. The apparatus includes battery, fuel gas reservoir unit, fuel lid, open/close detection unit for detecting open/close state of fuel lid, fuel gas condition detection unit for detecting pressure and/or temperature being condition of fuel gas reserved in the fuel gas reservoir unit, communication unit for communication with fuel gas supply device, and control unit for, upon reception of signal notifying that fuel lid is in open state from open/close detection unit, performing dispensing communication to notify the fuel gas supply device, via communication unit, of condition of fuel gas having been input from fuel gas condition detection unit. The control unit stops dispensing communication when control unit has determined, according to signal received from open/close detection unit that predetermined time has elapsed with the fuel lid remaining in open state after starting dispensing communication.

Apparatus using fuel gas

A pressure reducing valve has a seal member, which is mounted on a side wall of a piston. The seal member is arranged between a first ring and a second ring. Consequently, depending on the direction of displacement of the piston, the first ring or the second ring is positioned on one of a displacement direction upstream side or a displacement direction downstream side of the seal member. The first ring and the second ring are made of a resin material, for example a polytetrafluoroethylene resin or a polyetheretherketone resin, having lower coefficient of friction compared with that of the seal member.

Pressure reducing valve

A sealing structure enables easy fitting of an endless backup ring and includes: tank main body having filling chamber body with filling chamber and mouthpiece portion formed in cylindrical shape integrally with filling chamber body; valve body having insertion portion inserted in mouthpiece portion; O-ring provided between mouthpiece portion and insertion portion; and first backup ring endless and disposed on one side of O-ring to restrict movement of O-ring, wherein annular housing groove is formed on inner circumferential surface of mouthpiece portion such as to be recessed outward with respect to radial direction in order to house O-ring and first backup ring, wherein mouthpiece portion is provided with first cylindrical portion integral with filling chamber body and second cylindrical portion attachable/detachable along axial direction to/from first cylindrical portion, and wherein housing groove is divided along axial direction to face outward when second cylindrical portion detaches from first cylindrical portion.

Sealing structure

A temperature detecting circuit includes a first thermistor, a second thermistor, a first pull-up resistor, a second pull-up resistor, and a controller. The controller is configured to sense a temperature based on a voltage signal from the first thermistor if a temperature corresponding to a voltage signal from one of the first thermistor and the second thermistor is below a threshold temperature. The controller is configured to sense a temperature based on a voltage signal from the second thermistor if a temperature corresponding to a voltage signal from one of the first thermistor and the second thermistor is higher than or equal to the threshold temperature. A resistance Ra of the first thermistor, a resistance Rb of the second thermistor, a resistance Rc of the first pull-up resistor, and a resistance Rd of the second pull-up resistor have a relationship expressed by Ra&#x3c;Rb and Rc&#x3e;Rd.

Temperature detecting circuit

A temperature detecting circuit includes a first thermistor, a second thermistor, a first pull-up resistor, and a second pull-up resistor. The first thermistor has a first positive-side terminal. The second thermistor has a second positive-side terminal. The first thermistor and the second thermistor have different detection sensitivities to temperature. The first pull-up resistor is connected between the first thermistor and a power supply. The second pull-up resistor is connected between the second thermistor and the power supply. The first pull-up resistor and the second pull-up resistor have different resistances. The first pull-up resistor and the second pull-up resistor have such resistances that, in a state where the first positive-side terminal and the second positive-side terminal are short-circuited to each other, the first thermistor detects a temperature as a temperature lower than an actual temperature, and the second thermistor detects a temperature as a temperature higher than an actual temperature.

A first fluid channel of a first body has a first inner diameter part and a second inner diameter part in an order that an inner diameter becomes smaller from a side where a nozzle is inserted. A second body has a second fluid channel capable of communicating with the first fluid channel and further has a first outer diameter part and a second outer diameter part which are inserted in the second inner diameter part in an order that an outer diameter becomes larger from the first fluid channel side. When the tip part of the second body is inserted in the first fluid channel, a wall surface provided at an end of the second inner diameter part along an axial direction, an end surface of the tip part of the second body and an inner circumferential surface of the second inner diameter part form a sealing groove.

Filling port structure for pressure fluid

A fluid supply system includes a tank, a shutoff valve, a fluid fill channel, a fluid supply channel, a fill detector, a pressure detector, and a controller. The shutoff valve includes a shared channel to enable fluid to flow from a fill hole to the tank and to flow from the tank to a fluid usage device. The pressure detector is provided in the fluid supply channel. The controller is configured to output a close instruction to the shutoff valve and configured to execute a processing to determine open valve malfunctions in the shutoff valve based on changes in pressure values which are input from the pressure detector. The controller stops the processing to determine open valve malfunctions when the fill detector detects that the fluid supply system is in the supplying state.

Fluid supply system and method of controlling fluid supply system

A sealing structure permits easy fitting of the insertion member into the reception member and that prevents damage to the insertion member and the reception member. The insertion member includes a first larger-diameter columnar portion, a first smaller-diameter columnar portion, and a first step portion. The reception member includes a second larger-diameter cylindrical portion, a second smaller-diameter cylindrical portion, and a second step portion. An accommodation region for accommodating an O-ring is defined by an outer circumferential surface of the first smaller-diameter columnar portion, an outer surface of the first step portion, an inner circumferential surface of the second larger-diameter cylindrical portion, and an inner surface of the second step portion.

A solenoid includes a plunger, a core, an electromagnetic coil, and a casing. A core receiving portion of the plunger is to receive a core projection while the electromagnetic coil is energized. A plunger receiving portion of the core is to receive a plunger projection while the electromagnetic coil is energized. The casing houses the plunger, the core, and the electromagnetic coil. At least one of an end portion of the plunger projection and an end portion of the core projection has an acute angle in a cross section along the axial direction. A distance between the end portion of the plunger projection and the end portion of the core projection is shortest among distances between the core and the plunger while the electromagnetic coil is not energized.

Solenoid and solenoid valve

An electromagnetic main stop valve which is opened by an electromagnetic force of a solenoid with energization of a valve body in a valve-closing direction by energizing unit is provided in a hydrogen tank. A current sensor and the accelerator opening-degree sensor for detecting a use gas flow rate in a fuel cell stack are provided. A pressure sensor for detecting a pressure in the hydrogen tank is provided. The control device sequentially sets the electromagnetic force of the solenoid so that a valve-opening amount is such an amount as to supply a use gas flow rate to the fuel cell stack based on detection values of the current sensor or the accelerator opening-degree sensor, and the pressure sensor. When the flow rate of hydrogen gas flowing into a gas supply path increases due to a hydrogen gas leak, the main stop valve is automatically closed.

Fuel-using system comprising electromagnetic force adjusting unit

The object of the present invention is to provide a sealing structure which enables an insertion member to be removed easily from an inserted member. The sealing structure includes valve body, a mouth ring, an O-ring that is accommodated in an accommodation region formed by an inner peripheral surface of the mouth ring and an outer peripheral surface of the valve body, and prevents the fluid from leaking, and backup rings which are accommodated on both sides of the O-ring in the accommodation region, and restrict a movement of the O-ring. The valve body and the mouth ring are formed with screw parts to be fitted or screwed to each other when they are assembled, and first pressure release grooves are formed in the axial direction so as to extend at least on the inner peripheral surface of the mouth ring between the screw parts and the accommodation region.
