A motor control device controls energization of a motor by interchangeably converting a direct current electric power of a power source and an alternating current electric power of the motor with a power conversion circuit according to a power running operation and a regeneration operation of the motor. A voltage instruction value calculation unit calculates a q-axis voltage instruction value and a d-axis voltage instruction value by feedback control of dq-axis currents. A voltage instruction value limit unit limits at least one of the q-axis voltage instruction value and the d-axis voltage instruction value. The voltage instruction value limit unit performs a q-axis voltage limit prioritize process for limiting the q-axis voltage instruction value over the d-axis voltage instruction value, or a d-axis voltage limit prioritize process for limiting the d-axis voltage instruction value over the q-axis voltage instruction value, during the regenerative operation of the motor.

Motor control device

Control circuits control inverter circuits provided in correspondence to the control circuits by a drive mode selected from a plurality of drive modes. A cooperative drive mode is for controlling a current supply to motor windings by a plurality of systems by using a value acquired from the other control circuit via communication. An independent drive mode is for controlling the current supply to the motor windings by the plurality of systems without using the value acquired from the other control circuit. A one-system drive mode is for controlling the current supply to the motor winding by one system without using the value acquired from the other control circuit. The control circuits set the drive mode to a cooperative drive mode when inter-computer communication is normal. The control circuits set the drive mode to an independent drive mode or a one-system drive mode thereby differentiating an output characteristic of a motor from that in the cooperative drive mode.

Rotary electric machine control device

A rotary electric machine control apparatus controlling drive of a rotary electric machine includes a pre-limit d-axis voltage arithmetic portion calculating a pre-limit d-axis voltage command value; a pre-limit q-axis voltage arithmetic portion calculating a pre-limit q-axis voltage command value; a d-axis limit portion calculating a d-axis voltage command value; and a q-axis limit portion calculating a q-axis voltage command value. When an absolute value of the pre-limit q-axis voltage command value is greater than an absolute value of a second limit value, and an absolute value of a previous q-axis voltage command value is equal to or greater than the absolute value of the second limit value and is equal to or less than an absolute value of a first limit value, the q-axis limit portion determines a previous q-axis voltage command value as the q-axis voltage command value.

Rotary electric machine control apparatus

A rotary electric machine control apparatus controls driving of a motor, which generates assist torque in accordance with steering torque inputted by steering operation on a steering wheel. An abnormality detection part acquires a voltage detection value related to an operation parameter, which varies when the motor is being supplied with electric power. The abnormality detection part checks whether the voltage detection value is abnormal based on a variation of the voltage detection value over a predetermined period under a condition that the electric power is supplied to the motor and the steering member is being operated. It is thus possible to determine abnormality of the voltage detection value related to the operation parameter, which varies when the motor is in operation with electric power supply, without erroneous detection.
